I get many emails that claim they've hacked into my computer, have all my contacts, and have video of me. They spoof my email address to make it convincing. They use a form letter, and they usually want around $1400 to $1500 in BitCoin within 48 hours, to keep them from sending the video to all my contacts. If I had fallen for the scheme every time I got one of these emails, I would have paid over $100,000 by now.
Damn they are gonna know all my favorite hunting spots and not be able to capitalize on the possession of such data. If I have an agent following me I hope my life bores them to death!
Great idea in theory, but with all the public land I cover and endless new public land to explore, I have GIS data layers loaded into Google Earth on the phone and it has been a game changer from the paper maps guesswork days. Plus I need to be able to keep in touch with the big boss so I don't get too much flack at home!
Wonder if any patriots with hunting or military experience will get the bright idea to stealthily stake out the dropboxes in future elections to hunt mules.
Yes. You can even put it in an aluminized Mylar bag such as snacks come in and it will stop an incoming signal, although for all I know it could still be tracked.
LOL
Also: be a Patriot. Be reminded that your cell phone tracks your every move and you never know when [they] might use that against you somehow.
Be me: load pornhub and wonder which fbi agent is watching me jack off
Lol

If I paid out $10 for every grammar and spelling mistake those scammers made in their scam emails, I would have paid out $100,000 by now.
So true. When I do get on the phone with them I say, "by the way, this phone call is being recorded for quality and training purposes" Many hang up.
And now you know why cellphones no longer have removable batteries!
Mine does!
Can't you just keep a cellphone in a foil wrapper if you want to shield it?
you can also buy a faraday cage pouch to stick it in if you don't want to raise eyebrows with tin foil
yeah remember the days when your phone would die and you just pop in a new battery and keep on rockin'
good times

the simple answer to that is to leave your phone at home and hunt in peace!

Wouldn't wanna be a mule from this point forward
Mules need to fear for their lives.
Not a bad idea!
Plus someone following you while you're armed, deep into the woods...not sure they have the stones for that xD
Drones do.
Hehe and endless places to dig a hole... just for calisthenics purposes of course
What's that? I can put it in a faraday cage?
