That is stunning. I cannot imagine, on a practical or logistical level, the amount of energy and personal resources it would take to find hook ups 80 times a year, let alone to keep that pace up for over 12 years.
That strongly supports the theory of unvetted, unverified, random sexual partners being the norm for gay men. What a hollow, empty existence that must be for those who follow this path. I feel sorry for them, honestly.

Consider that men with no sexual mores do not need a reason to have sex, just a place.
Consider that gay bars and bath houses exist.
For these people a weekend might consist of meeting a new friend or five at the bar on Friday night, hooking up that evening with several of them, then spending the weekend with them. They may repeat this with one group of friends or another every weekend for a year, taking time off only to hold down a job and recover from the festivities.
People who live their lives in service to their fetishes are like those who live their lives in service to a drug addiction. The addict constantly seeks a better orgasm or a better high, or at least next orgasm or high. Constant depravity and numerous sexual partners are just part of the lifestyle.

Addiction is an excellent comparison. There has to be some sort of extra-level driver(s) to create this behavior. And with a whole profitable industry built around it to make money off the depravity, too.

It's not a good article. It starts with a sensational claim in the headline, but then ignores the claim in the headline, in favor of attacking Catholic priests, while vaguely throwing jabs at homosexual males. It would be easily dismissed.
