And I think we had the help of a hidden hand on the scale when we fucked this up.

Then there are those that cannot be controlled by this manner. These people see the lies and are aware of a Deep State/Global agenda. These people must be handled in a more sophisticated manner. This is where Trump/Q come in to play. The operation appeals to these people by actually telling them truths about the Deep State; not to pacify them but to track them, identify them, and ultimately destroy them. This devious plan would be a way to eliminate the "critical-thinkers" who are the greatest threat to their agenda, leaving nothing but the easily controlled to be dealt with.
A master con always appeals to the vanity of the mark. Many of the Q followers (myself included) do take some pride in being someone who "thinks for themselves". This "vanity" could lead us directly into a trap that culls us together and then marks us for destruction.
Again, the above is not necessarily how I feel all the time but I do confess that it something I cannot shake off as a possibility. I would love to be wrong about this and I truly wish I could be convinced 100% that Trump/Q are white hats.
