- The behavior is depressing and I choose to ignore it for my own mental health
- Their smile is missing and they are unintelligible
- They obviously still listen to fake news, so we live in different realities
- They are indulging in unsafe practices and usually believe the opposite
- Some of them are virtue signaling narcissists.
This may be by design, but I also remember the rule “wear a mask if you’re unvaccinated”, and recognize these may be pure bloods. What is your current reaction to masked people?
I’m the same basically. No smile, I don’t see or acknowledge them. I feel badly for the old people who you know have probably been jabbed and still wear smothering masks. It’s pitiful. I see a lot of that in Florida.
Yes. Older people still trust the teevee.
Sad reality is that most elderly get "sent out to pasture" in "retirement homes" where narcissistic brainwashed/indoctrinated nurses run the place... And their TV's pumping propaganda 24/7
Sick and twisted...
millions of Nurse Ratcheds
Well THIS "older person" doesn't trust the telly, and hasn't for many years now.
I’m particular to “tell a vision”.
"boobtoob"
idiot box
Yep. My grandma is one of them. I keep telling her she’s smothering herself but she won’t listen.
Me too. I still see people (mostly older but a few younger one) STILL wearing masks at the gym I go to. Gym activity increases respiration, so they're getting a double dose of their own CO2 and getting less oxygen, and I have to wonder what is going on in their little peabrains to justify the masks? Side note: occasionally I will see an otherwise attractive woman at the grocery store or out in public, but the mask she has on says "I'm stupid, stay away." So.... maybe it's like full-body tattoos and green hair, nature's way of saying "STAY AWAY!"
Never engage with unnatural hair colored women. Never
Nope...like crack cocaine... not even once.
Totally agree
What boggles my mind are the parents that don't have the mask on but their young kids do. How can they think they are protecting their kid without also taking the same precautions. Which leads to the thought that maybe it's the kids choice, and if that is the case, how can they not be aware that their kid is too gullible, or may be experiencing some sort of trauma from all of this?
Government school indoctrination instilled fear into those... I still occasionally see some stupid idiots riding bikes alone wearing masks...
Saw a genius running on the beach mid-day...wearing an N95 mask...talk about cult dedication.
I believe that kids still wearing them, even when their parents aren't making them, are more because they've built a habit. Kids often want to cover their face in anxious situations. It's a behavior that we normally discourage. Think about when a family member asking about school at a family reunion. The kid, in this stressful situation, will often autistically start touching their face while they quietly mumble an answer.
But we encouraged it. And now they've built that habit and aren't comfortable without it. Disgusting what we did.
It’s for sure the kids choice and I’m not sure if it’s the result of weak parenting or just picking your battles. A friend is in that situation with his kid. I’m always asking the kid, “ do you enjoy wearing the mask?” Sometimes he takes it off after I question his behavior.
Letting your kid walk around with a gimp gag ball because they enjoy it is bad parenting.
Yes!
They are basically NPC's.
WE need to be more than just Machines:.
Not one unvaccinated person wears a mask I can guarantee you that!
Unless it is forced by their employer and even then I can usually tell as the ones that hate the masks. They don’t wear them properly not covering the nose.
I was at a new job and first 1.5 years they required the mask and I rarely wore mine unless I was outside my cube. They said the only time you can take your mask off is when you are in a room by yourself with the door closed. I never got in trouble.
My immediate reaction is 100% this.
Then I try to think WWJD and power through my distaste. Christ had a hard gig. Thank Him for it every day.
I still see them pulling down their masks to talk to people; if this mask works (it doesn't) you'll need to keep it on especially when close enough to talk to someone. It is clearly, still, not about health for them, it is a statement, one which I hate.
I smile at them. It automatically causes them to rethink what they are doing because they know they cannot smile back at me. It brings awareness to the ridiculous decision they have made.
That is a great approach.
I despise them in every way.
Me too, can't bear to look at them.
I hear what you're saying, just remember that many Asian cultures consider it the polite thing to do and wore masks before covid. I personally like to look into the eyes of those who wear masks to see if there's anything there. Sometimes I am surprised at the amount of friendliness in the eyes, but most of the time, their eyes avert away from mine.
I don’t know what’s going on with this board today but I’m repeatedly seeing the same odd statements.
“Guidestones commandments don’t seem so bad”
“Asians always wore masks”
The difference in our society VS there has been pointed out here much better by others other than me.
But in Asian culture, you did not see the 10+ hour masking of all students in a classroom.
You did not see Asians wearing masks 24/7 on the workplace doing physical laborious tasks.
You did not see TIGHT, DIRTY, REUSABLE, GERM INFESTED, MONTHS AND MONTHS OLD CLOTH MASKS BEING WORK REPEATEDLY, NON MEDICAL DEVICES BEING USED TO TIGHTLY COVER THE FACE FOR HOURS AND HOURS ON END.
THE ASIAN MASK CULTURE WAS NOT LIKE WHAT WE SAW AMERICANS REACTION.
NOW EVEN THE ASIANS ARE OVER AND MISUSING.
Why do THINK SNAPCHAT AND MANY YOUNG INFLUENCERS/RAPPERS WERE PUSHING THE STYLISTIC MASKS AND ASIAN CULTURE SO HEAVILY LEADING INTO COVID?
NOW WE SEE WHAT WAS ONCE ONLY VIEWED BY AMERICANS AS A DIGITAL FACE FILTER VIA SNAPCHAT, A STYLISTIC ANIMAL MASK FOR EXAMPLE, BEING OPENLY AND PROUDLY WORN BY MANY YOUNG AMERICANS. ESPECIALLY THE ONES WHO DRESS VERY DIFFERENTLY, TO THEM IT MAKES THEM EVEN MORE DIFFERENT AND SPECIAL.
IN THE END WE LIVE AND SHOULD CONTINUE TO LIVE IN A HIGH TRUST SOCIETY
VS LOW TRUST
WHERE YOU HAVE TO COVER YOUR ANKLES SO YOU'RE NOT STONED TO DEATH, OR WEAR 12 MASKS AND JABS BECAUSE YOU FEAR FELLOW MAN AS NOTHING BUT AN INFESTED MEAT BAG W NO HUMANITY.
I always assumed Asians wore masks because of the pollution in the air or were sick.
Got my friend from Liberia, whom I have t seen since retirement, to quit masking yesterday. Hope shes able to resist those at home. Wonderful, compassionate woman.
I still see these creatures and get fustrated.
I laugh at them and shake my head, like you do if saw anyone walking around wearing something ridiculous. Sometimes I assume they must have terrible allergies but I refuse to get mad. We are to be filled with Love and Joy—that can include laughing at fools.
We need to make this more common. Occasionally outright calling them out, but always subtly laughing at them. They may not notice the latter consciously, but they subconsciously will.
If they are elderly I assume they feel safer with the mask for whatever reason and give them a smile or wave. Same with employees that have to wear it for their job. Before covid, I knew people that wore them in public for allergies or going through chemo or transplants so I know those people must still be out there. The joggers, bicyclists, and young healthy looking people I just ignore. I do have to remind myself that it is still America and if people want to wear them that is their choice. The masked children though - that boils my blood.
I just saw an older gentleman wearing two masks. It's just sad to me at this point.
People wearing masks are really dumb, that's what it shows. If they actually want to know the truth they would seek it out at this point. You can't do anything for these people unless they are sincerely asking you for help.
Too easy
They are irrational people that are afraid and usually angry. That is a very dangerous combination. I actually like that they wear masks. That way I know who to avoid.
They kinda creep me out, like I’m seeing the first stage of zombie-ism…..
I always brow beat them with out saying a word. I make sure to make eye contact and non verbally say “really?” With a sour puss or a mock giggle.
they are cultists. They wear the mask to project the idea that the lockdowns were necessary and not a tool to rob an election from Donald Trump. Their TDS runs so deep they are willing to live a lie to avoid having him be POTUS again.
Point them out to my husband and make comments about them being stupid sheep 🤷🏼♀️ Otherwise ignore them if Im alone or maybe just say hi.
I smile at them and ask how they are doing. They are rare here but during tourist season we get a few. They have a hard time responding as they can't smile and they sound like a tard.
Make them realize how dumb they are.
This is the way.
Wearing a mask? Fuck off
The majority of the remaining mask wearers are double vaxxed and boosted. They're mentally ill.
It’s still a useful tool to use against cameras. So we can blend in the NPCs when needed.
Yes with hat and sunglasses one is basically unrecognizable. and that is why the left wanted everyone one in masks so they could send out all their antifa thugs to riot without getting caught. And for the ballot box stuffing etc.
I imagine it has been nice for celebrities that want to stay incognito when they go out.
I'm not rude, but I ignore them unless they initiate conversation, which doesn't happen. But if they take the mask off or even pull it down a little I will immediately start talking to them in a friendly way as positive reinforcement. I've tried making small talk a few times early on but it's just too weird.
I always reward demasking with special kindness.
I find them unbearable. Then, I think, maybe they are sick, or something, and I move on. Mostly old people are wearing them.
True. I have less patience for them. I continually have to say “wut?”
I do that on purpose. "I can't tell if you're whispering, or if it's just the muzzle and plexiglass blocking your voice.
And I’m already hard of hearing. It was already hard without the masks. Now I just give up trying to understand them.
I've been traveling the USA since Jan. I retired because of the vaccine mandate (I'm a nurse). The farther northeast I go, the more masks I see! Although I did see a lot of Trump signs in rural PA!
You see it on the west coast too. Also, trashy blue cities.
I know a bunch of people who wear masks in public, but then dont wear them at home. i think it's become a social norm people dont know how to deal with.
I rarely see them and when I do, I try to pretend they have some extenuating medical condition.
I try not to instantly dislike them. They remind me how easily most people will throw away old friends because their authority figures said to. It's someone who may be sweet and kind but I can never trust.
I laugh at them.
