Tested positive for COVID.. first time getting it. I feel like hell. Does anyone have any tips on how to deal with this or make it go away more quickly?
I took shitloads of vitamins, C D zinc & etc and I am not generally a smoker but I would go in cycles where I would smoke tobacco as much as I could tolerate (for me that would be 1/2 cigarette or maybe a whole one) because there was a french study early on that smokers were less likely to catch covid because the nicotine competes with the same receptor, or something like that
Treat it like the flu. Be sure to eat real foods, stay hydrated, take your vitamins, and my best advice is to bathe in the sun at least once a day. I swear it’s what got me through the worst of it. The link below is to a tea that I swear by. It always helps me feel better.

Random thought - I am not a GM fan and they seem to ruin everything. However the Corvette is fairly iconic and a great performer. I think they had it right with the last couple of generations before this current mid-engine thing.
Anyone else think regardless of its capabilities they went off the rails going mid-engine, esp as big as the damn thing is?

BTW I'm more of a Porsche guy but the 911 is so bloated now I have seen a couple on the road and seriously it's hard to tell just looking from even moderate distance if it's a Panorama, a Tayco, or a 911. SAD.
I don't see too many Porsches around here. Most newer cars look so generic.
I've learned a bit about cars from watching Top Gear and now The Grand Tour. My husband and I watched all the TG episodes with the main trio.

I think the golden age for cars was the mid-80s for about 10y maybe a bit more. The styling was great, the performance was up to acceptable levels/don't really need more, and there wasn't all the extra crap/weight. Honestly when air bags became allowed was the beginning of the end....

Having gone to church for the first time Sunday, and going to nightly AA since Friday, I've noticed a weight lifted off me. There's actually more to worry about now than before...but I just don't have that sense of worry that I always carried before
He is definitely helping carry some of that weight now that I've asked for it with an open and honest heart

I made homemade bagels for the first time since culinary school, nearly 20 years ago, and they are fantastic. The recipe is so easy. I got it from Sam the Cooking Guy. Politics aside, he has some good videos. We enjoy watching him and want his outside cooking set-up.
Proper bagels are delicious, and most places don't do them right.

anyway my question is what sort of safeguards or defense do we have against DEEP FAKE VIDEOS ? scares the shit out of me. if you can put a famous woman into a porn video then you can do even worse. like if General Flynn was deep faked? that would be chaos. what do you think? our tech is getting better and better

Access to source code can show deep fake manipulation, but the fakes are going to get believable enough and their production secrets guarded well enough that we’re going to get duped eventually. When many of us get mass duped, if we admit to it then we’ll change our ways. Going forward after the acknowledgement of the mass duping, people will just place less faith in video “evidence”. We’ll pretty much stop believing videos in many cases.
Some people have figured that the emergence of deep fakes has been a catalyst for the cabal’s implosive trajectory. The cabal has been keeping their minions in check via blackmail. If it’s on video, the opportunity is now there for the blackmailee to claim it’s a deep fake. Now the person is more emboldened to whistle blow or to roll over on the cabal. The cabal has seen this coming, which is why they’ve been panicking.
I never thought about the whistle blower aspect before. That's a good thought. It makes sense.

Yes, good for us, but for the Cabal, in a whistle blower situation, would not want to challenge that in public or a court of law because it would signal their guilt, so what good would it do them? The benefit would be good for us, but not for them.
Personally, I think deep fakes can be really good, but they can still be figured out by th human eye. We can tell if something's not quite right and if it doesn't fit. That's not to say that we won't be/aren't fooled, but I don't think everyone would be.

Another solar storm later this week. Last time we had flares I had a heck of a time healthwise, and friends that I have with autoimmune issues also suffered. I have chronic lyme disease, and it flares up and goes into remission much like Lupus, which I was wrongly diagnosed with for years. Not sure if this one coming will cause the 10 days of darkness, but it might. If any of you folks have autoimmune issues and you feel bad later on this week, it may be because of the flares. Anyone watched/ing ParamountPlus's show Evil? Seems to be a decent enough series for the most part but definitely normalizing a God Vs. Satan dynamic and investigating demonic presences/possessions. I'm just finishing up S3E4 where a "Friend of The Vatican" is explaining they'd (main cast) just rid the world of centuries demonic house lines.

Lol! I remember that. When we went to our first Trump rally, I was worried that there wouldn’t be a turnout since the media was on him so hard. It was about 10 miles from any town at an airfield. Praise God, I was so wrong! There were cars and trucks everywhere. Buses moving people from the parking area to the event. That’s when I felt real hope for us. It wasn’t just my husband and me and our ww2 friend. It was America.

I have no one to talk to about current events. It's like we are all in our own little separate realities. I thought they were listening to me, showing examples of the how news lies etc. I bring up important stuff and I get blank stares.
My closest extended family member- who I brought over supplements after they took the jab, talked at length about the dangers of it, they nodded in agreement and was PARTICIPATING in our conversations just told me the other day they have taken a total of 4 shots!!! I'm at a loss.
I feel like the ghost in that Bruce Willis movie where the only one that interacts with him is the kid that sees dead people.
Frustrating isn't it? My in-laws, my parents and siblings has all taken the shots. There's only so much you can say/do. We're at a point where we don't touch on the topic of covid at all. Luckily, husband and I are on the same page, so that alleviate the feeling of isolation. He was the one to suggest I visit this place to keep myself sane knowing that we're not the only one who thinks this way.
This place is a blessing. My spouse is unjabbed, and sees the malarky around it, but that's all. I'm grateful they listened to me to Just Wait, because they wanted it.
But I'm getting impatient with their unwavering faith in fox News....just seeing them parked in front of the TV pisses me off.
My family announced a Family Picnic for the first time since the plandemic hit 2 years ago. The requirement is at least 2 shots in the arm. I'm out of course, but the absolute self righteous nerve for them to announce that and divide the family is beyond belief. I'm the freak in the family now but I'm ok with that. I don't want their spike proteins shedding on me anyway. I have an online family now that won't make me sick.
Man, that sucks. My brother in law was making a cross behind my back with his two fat index fingers because I was unjabbed at the last family picnic we were invited too.

You are not alone in what you are going through. We are all dealing with people in our lives like this. I keep praying and reminding myself that there will come a day when they will start seeing what we are seeing. Keep feeding them little bits any time you have the opportunity. I have personally seen several people in my life change their way of thinking. It’s not happening as fast as I would like but God is moving in their hearts even if we don’t always see it. We must never give up on these people. Our eyes have been opened for a reason. Hang in there!!
