Another Laserdic fan? Still have your player? I have a Pioneer CLD-D406 . What's yours? I still use it to this day. Purchased specifically for Japanese LDs.Don't have this on LD though, but I do have Blade Runner.
CLD-D703. As far as internals, it usues the same as the D704 and Elite line, but it's missing the AC-3 audio circuit (which can be added as a mod), and it doesn't have a 3D comb filter.
Which honestly, most built in filters on any display using component is going to have a better 3D comb filter. So I bought this unit while everyone was chasing the other "big names" on forums.
I love analog technology, but don't get me wrong, the proper Blu-ray transfer will blow it out of the water.

Badass movie. Don't know anything about that laserdisc, but it's a movie worth collecting stuff for.
It's the same as the English movie with japanese subs.
Just a better version of the Laserdisc. Found it for $20 a while ago. I have all sorts of weird shit, like the UMD version of Big Trouble in Little China.

Roddy Piper was famous as a wrestler so they did an extended fight in his honor. There was alsov a scene where he took off his shirt to do hard labor again showcasing his physique.
Roddy Piper carried a notepad with him at all times, in case a good line came to him that he could use in pro wrestling.
That line was one of his that didn't get used for the ring. It wasn't in the script.

Legendary movie. Roddy Piper famously known for WWF as in World Wrestling Federation does a fabulous job in this movie which has a cult following. If only we could pass out those special sun glasses so the masses could see these Satanic bastards. Distribute them first to all the ignorant churches and make them look at those swindlers who they call "God's chosen people".

I try to get the original poster or some interesting from the same era. New art is great, but I want you to feel the vibes from its original time period, you know?
I just watched this again a few days ago, on Turner Classic Movies. It's incredible how dead on it is. About the only thing I'd change is the signs that say "Marry and Reproduce." Those should have read, "LGBTQ"
About ten years after this film, The Matrix ran with the same idea on steroids.
