I feel the same way, it’s almost unreal. What we both could use is some hope. I’ll pray for you anon, Jesus said whatever we ask the Father for in his name will be granted.
Renew your mind with the promises God has fulfilled and the promises yet to come. We are but enduring here and the stage is being set. Take heart in our blessed hope! Titus 2:13
It's a shame that geography separates us all. No replacement for actual human socialization. Wish I could take you both out for a beer and let you both vent.
Just know that people care and genuinely give a shit about both of you.
Lord we lift up a little pede to you. We ask that you would help them to find comfort, peace, joy, and love. We pray that you will surround them with your loving kindness, and just show them a day of rest. Amen
Please find yourself a local church that has Bible teachings. Calvary chapel is a good church, it’s nondenominational, and they teach the Bible chapter by chapter and verse by verse. Whether you’re a male or female, find a weekly Bible study to attend. This is where you will find other like-minded believers, that will lift you up, and overtime you will find that the weights that you carry are not your own.
I went through a very difficult time, and it wasn’t until I finally threw my hands up in the air, started reading my Bible every day, and attending church weekly that my life changed again. Read one times a day and one proverbs a day. Watch your life change miraculously. God bless you
Amen. Get with a church OP. Just pick one. Pick the first one that you think of. That one church you always see or you have a tendency to look at when you drove by. Just wake up on Sunday and walk in those doors. Remember the church isn’t the building, it’s the people in it. I found my church family a year ago. Our fellowship, even like today when we had a dinner after church at one of their homes...we invited newer people and their children, and are so thankful they accepted the invite. We had a great dinner with great company.
Speaking of this family, the husband couldn’t attend as he was spending weekends in jail. So just the wife and kids were only able to. The fact she was able to open up (we all alrdy knew the situation) and mentioned what had happened is great. And when he finishes up his time, we are gonna do this again so he can attend in person. It was awesome. They are a beautiful family, and we are in this together.
He did get a huge portion so he will eat well when he comes home tonight. 😁🙏
This burden you speak of is weighing all of us down. It comes on top of any personal troubles we are experiencing. You are not alone as we are all being challenged at this time. We cannot run from it nor ignore it so we soldier on. Dear Lord, please help this nation and all the countries of the world cast off the yoke of oppression and tyranny. Allow us to see and be guided by your light to move us through this darkness and closer to you. Please protect the hearts and minds of your people and help us to do your will and keep us focused and positive. Never let us forget the many blessings you’ve given us even though we’ve turned away from you so many times. We humbly ask for your continued guidance and blessing now and forever, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Amen! Will be praying for all here, especially littlepede.
this Scripture often brings me back to the realization of our position in Christ Jesus: Eph. 1: 16
while making mention of you in my prayers:Eph 1:17
that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him.
I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,
Eph 1:19
and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might
Eph 1:20
Which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,
far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.
And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church,
Eph 1:23
which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
May God fill you with His grace, and lift you up in these trying times so that you can be assured of your path, and continue to follow His path for you. Hang in there, Anon.
Rest today under a tree in a hammock. Or on your deck or such. Or go to a local lake and swim and lay on the makeshift beach for the public. Or go for a bike ride. Or all of the above. It gets the stress chemicals out of system and promotes endogenous endorphins, a morphine-analog the body produces naturally. Even yardwork/gardening is a good work out. Or painting outside.
Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
“Come unto Me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.” Mt. 11:28-30
We know God cares for you and hears our prayers for you. May he direct people unto your life to offer support. May you feel his presence, love, and guidance. May he also direct you in your life to people you can support and aid, as our own service to others energizes us and helps us feel the Holy Spirit's approval. God bless you. Thanks for reaching out. We care.
Done. Every time that thought starts, think "Jesus, help me!" instead. Maybe not instant results, but the point is to turn your thoughts to something else immediately.
Prayers sent your way littlepede. These are trying times for many.
Consider shifting your attention and tuning into your heart space (instead of your head/thoughts) from time to time and focusing on something positive/happy/grateful for. I can promise it works wonders.
Absolutely. Not that this takes it away, but maybe bring a little peace; I've heard this from several friends (or acquaintances) in the past 3-4 weeks. Really challenging times at every level right now. Depending on circumstances it can certainly be much more intense for some. Take care. We'll all find peace on the other side of this.
I feel the same way, fren. I fall into pits of despair and depression here and there.
We are truly at war and suffering its effects. It's hard to keep up the faith after 2 years and counting.
God, Jesus, Holy Spirit and the Blessed Virgin Mary - Please lift up littlepede and fill this patriot with Hope, Faith and Belief in the Intersession of the Blessed Virgin Mary that the future will be bright, just and peaceful. May inner peace and calm abound. Please bless all patriots and those dealing with discomfort and despair.
You are not alone fren. Many of us, I think, are struggling with not only what we talk about here but also our own personal happenings/struggles. I'll say a prayer for you.🙏
Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them the power of your love. Send forth your spirit and they shall be created and you shall renew the face of the world.
This life is just a test. Fight hard to pass the test, and you’ll be infinitely rewarded. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day —and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.”
Hey fren, you have millions of brothers and sisters in Christ. Pray on it and ask for that help you need. I will put out a prayer for you today, actually right after writing this comment. I wish I could my Pepe holding hands with Jesus but you get the idea. Stay strong with Christ anon, we will win this.
We all feel the weight of the world. My girlfriend left me after 6 years, my dog died after my girlfriend moved out. I’ve never been more alone in my life. But God is in my heart and my fellow pedes are holding the line, so I stand and pray for you and everyone else who is suffering.
I feel the same way, it’s almost unreal. What we both could use is some hope. I’ll pray for you anon, Jesus said whatever we ask the Father for in his name will be granted.
Me too.
The spiritual war is real . Will keep everyone in prayer.

Even if a church is not perfect, in a situation like this, it is the best advice. Get out there amongst other people and seek the Lord Jesus Christ.

We all feel the weight of the world. My girlfriend left me after 6 years, my dog died after my girlfriend moved out. I’ve never been more alone in my life. But God is in my heart and my fellow pedes are holding the line, so I stand and pray for you and everyone else who is suffering.
The Lord's Moving Service having moved your home and made it empty, because He and His Movers are about to move some new fresh gifts IN
So sorry about your dog. It’s awful to lose that unconditional love. Our lab died in May. Worst kind of pain ever.
The girlfriend thing sucks, too. Hope you’re doing ok.
I appreciate it. You pedes give me strength when I am weak. You give me hope when I want to give up.
I know how you feel fren.
May the dark haze lift!
