I had a rainbow hanging in my room when I was very young. I have fond memories of that delightful rainbow adorning my bedroom. As I grew older, my mom took it down and put it away. Years later, after she died, my sister declared that she wanted the rainbow, even though her kids were too old to enjoy it. A couple of years after that, it was offered back, and I took it quickly. That sister said "I guess it can be a gay pride rainbow" (even though I'm married to a woman, so why would it be gay?). I immediately and firmly told her that the rainbow is a symbol of a covenant made began God and Noah, and that's what my rainbow and any other rainbow is supposed to be. Too many Christian symbols have been perverted, and I want to take back the rainbow as a symbol from God Himself.
When my daughter was little, I wallpapered her room in a rainbow print. To me it represented innocence and optimism. I hope to see it back to what it should be. A promise from God.
Yes. Do we like to laugh? You bet most of us do. We like to play and have fun. We like to rest and reflect. We have feelings and we seek friendships the ones that don't take us for granted and disrespect us. We get these traits from our creator.
I wish I could post all the rainbows I've photographed this last month. I've seen at least a dozen. Told my granddaughter God is taking His rainbow back from the godless ones (sodomites). Never seen as many ever as this last month.
Yes. I agree with this. We can still use the ok symbol, too, to actually mean "ok or good". If we continue using what we have always used, it will dilute their new meaning.
We keep seeing rainbows and double rainbows at our house in the evenings this summer. The right side of the main rainbow always is ending on a neighbors American flag and I keep saying it is a sign!

I think it's a representation of the "dome" that caps off the firmament. Because the earth is actually flat.
