The important thing is you cannot turn these people around. Arguing with them is fruitless because they don’t want to see the data. They will only come around when the people they trust change their position.
This is why we need to focus on protecting doctors who speak out.
We have family members in that mode and this is spot on. Facts from close relatives don't matter, just people they hardly know or don't know at all, but for some reason trust? Hard to understand.
Programming. Done in school and through ‘amusement’ devices.
Success in school means you are good at following orders and regurgitation of data.
Says the C and D student? :p
jk, the statement is true to a degree; but I did well in school yet suck at following orders; lasted 2 yrs in the military. Too much of a logical, analytical freethinker unable to overlook the robotic idiocy with which the fedgov operates at every level. They definitely don't want my type LOL
On the job, I won't work for a jerk. I do what's necessary to make that coinage and do it well. But act up, get too pushy or authoritarian, too drunk on your power trip, and I'm letting you know about it in no uncertain terms, putting you on notice. Then if you don't shape up pronto, I'm history. Key is to be not so easy to replace.
A compliant worker/consumer.
"The most trusted name in news."
They'd sooner believe some talking head over a 10 year old having a heart attack 5 days after getting the clot shot.
sOuRcE?! "Here you go." Then they proclaim it isn't good enough... Hahahaha
Social acceptance. Some believe the most evil shit for fear of being chastised on any platform that they would sacrifice anything or anyone to get that social acceptance endorphine rush.
These people are the definition of cowardly and completely unable to process anything outside their self-imposed paradigm. They "know" they are right, even when they're left (wrong).
A few years ago, about halfway through Trump’s term (before covid), I was having a debate (argument) with a leftist friend. It was on climate change and he said he trusted the scientists. I asked him why and he said that they were the experts, and that I should trust them too. I asked him then: if the head of NASA came out and claimed climate change was a hoax, would he 1) believe it, or 2) run to a computer to see who Trump appointed to NASA and find out why that person couldn’t be trusted. To his credit he admitted that it was #2, but it was ok because it would be justified. So the lesson really wasn’t that they were trusting the experts, they were trusting the experts that were telling them what they wanted to hear. They’ve made up their mind and will do all the necessary mental gymnastics to keep their ideology intact.
They trust the experts that are endorsed by their favorite celebrity and/or news pundit.
I try tool seek out information that goes against my bias. When cognitive dissonance happens, I know I'm learning something.
But since that's what I like to do, I guess that's my bias. So I do seek out confirmation of my own bias by trying to find unbiased information.
It's a downward spiral that leads quickly to misanthropy.
It's lovely here. Bring a friend. They should have sent a poet.
Even when I'm right twice a day I'm still a broken clock. ⏰🕒
That's key! It's an entirely different approach to life; learning that you've been wrong is a GOOD THING because now you have better information; the alternative is to see learning as BAD and threatening if the new info is disturbing or if it makes you re-evaluate a significant belief.
Wonderfully laid thought trap fren - even if they didn't get it right away it has undoubtedly come to forethought several more times. This is how to catch a wiley NPC!
"For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear." - 2 Timothy 4:3
Wow. Thanks, I don't even remember reading that one before.
Trump endorsed the vaccines so that kinda blows that theory
And notice how most Trump supporters are not taking the vaxx. So his point that leftist minds yield to authority and right minds yield to logic still stands.
No, the point wasn’t about him being anti-Trump, it was about him selectively choosing “experts“ he believed in. If an expert challenged his world view he would just dismiss that expert.
Athiest Jews are not people I lend any credence
Yep just like the people who think the bible is accurate or that mainstream religion hasn't been completely corrupted by the ruling class. It just won't compute in their brain that they could have been lied to.
Right…esp when they say the Kazarian mafia has been around for a thousand + years and often in influential positions. Sure sounds like there’s high Probabality for fuckery
1 Corinthians 1:18 King James Version 18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
They’ll tell you their priorities if you listen:
Bob just told us that he doesn’t value the truth as much as he values respect from others.
By "He" I assume you mean Kirsch's friend -- the person he's describing. Kirsch himself clearly values the truth or he wouldn't be doing what he's doing.
I edited it to “Bob”. Sorry for bringing an unannounced pronoun to the party. Thanks
lol
He's correct. 'Humans' willing to sacrifice their children's health, development, wellbeing and mortality to masks and vaccines are too far gone.
If you have a child, you've got one job to do. Protect it.
The ineffable thing is that even if you have a relative or friend who has subjected their child to shit, but now 'see the light', it's too late.
They have MURDERED any prospective grandchildren before even having a chance to be conceived.
The ultimate in birth control; unquestioning obedience.
Millions of otherwise brilliant people can’t think for themselves. It’s a flaw in humanity. The problem with them is that they think their brilliance in one arena makes them brilliant in all arenas. So their willingness to punt their health to the evil medical industrial complex is seen as brilliant judgement by them. They think their brilliance (in one arena) can’t fail them in any arena. This flaw makes them fucked nine ways to Sunday. They’re masters of the universe in finance, tech, engineering, whatever, but their inability to take a cold hard look at their own limits is their undoing. Pride is one of the seven deadly sins.
So true, and well said.
I wonder if the inability to think for one’s self is a result of prior vaccines and being programmed. I know that when I was in school, late 1950’s-1960’s, we were taught to respect authority and defer to our elders. Teachers of today don’t give respect, so they don’t command respect. Same with our political leaders. Now they no longer hide their disdain and act like ordinary citizens and their opinions are inconsequential-it is out in the open for all to see. They don’t care if you see their lawlessness, their greed, their sexual proclivities, because they know that they will get away with it. They have no conscience, no embarrassment and no remorse.
I have said many a time we are often our own worst enemies.
Leftists LOVE the 'appeal to authority' logical fallacy. They practically live by it. Normies don't know better, so leftists get 'authority' figures to say what they want the debate premise to be, and as such start with a huge advantage.
Thats why almost EVERY 'news' article says 'experts say (insert stupid bullshit here)' and then NEVER name the experts. For all we know, the author of the article just MADE THAT SHIT UP.
"Arguing with them is fruitless because they don’t want to see the data. "
This. It is too horrible a thought for them to even consider the magnitude of what they might have done to themselves, so they. just. don't. Fingers-in-the-ears-la-la-la level of denial. They consider your facts to be "too political", and they're tired of talking about politics, dontcha know.
There is no "authority" in this realm that you should ever defer to.
To put it in another way re: the comments here
Virtue signalling now correlates to intelligence in this clown world
Post title is an oxymoron. Very smart pro-vax doesn't go together.
Perfect example, I've told idiot's that TicTok is CCP spyware and it's capturing everything you're doing and there response is "No it's not, it's just a fun app" , then when the MSM comes out and say's the same exact thing they're "OMG TicTok is spyware!".
Steve Kirsch, the guy who doesn't believe the government deliberately wants to murder its own citizens.
No one is right about everything, including me and including you. Kirsch actually got himself "vaccinated" if I recall correctly, but when he began to see evidence of harm and malfeasance, instead of doubling down on his defenses against reality, he began working to get the truth out. His truth-telling is redpilling a LOT of people about the deadly "vaccines", about masks and other COVID theater, about the criminal silence of the medical profession on those issues, and more.
For instance, here's his substack column for July 23rd, and it not only showcases Kirsch's blatant truth-telling but also makes me wonder if you're right about Kirsch not believing that "the government deliberately wants to murder its own citizens."
Steve Kirsch Jul 23
He said so in an interview himself. Until one acknowledges that there's an evil force out there to murder you, you will never get to the end of the problem. https://rumble.com/v1ddidj-cv19-vax-lies-destroyed-trust-everywhere-on-the-planet-steve-kirsch.html
Thanks for the link. I haven't seen the video yet, but apparently he's still in denial to some extent. As I said, "No one is right about everything." That hasn't kept him from doing good work to get to the truth about the harm done by the "vaccines" and by the COVID tyranny, and putting that truth out in the world.
Kirsch is about 5% awake now. Things need to be taken in steps. I applaud all his efforts to expose the cooties-1984 jab disaster. And I've recently heard him say that he now realizes that there is no reliable "Safety data" demonstrating that ANY vaccine is "safe & effective". And that's a BIG revelation from the guy who runs the "Vaccine Safety Research Foundation". He hasn't fully assimilated this yet. Presumably when he does, he will have to rethink what his foundation is effectively doing.
But Steve has quadrupled down on believing in the great "virus lie" these past few months. He ignores the simple and obvious evidence of virology being a pure pseudoscience in favor of deferring to the virologist "experts", none of whom can provide a rational answer to the obvious lies and blatant deceptions in their field. His $1million dollar bets are rationalized in a bass-ackwards way, such that nobody could possibly engage with him. He wants the "no viruses exist camp" to PROVE they don't exist, which is impossible as nobody has yet to prove they do exist! He rationalizes this away by saying "their standard of proof is too high, our pseudo-proofs should satisfy you". And all we're asking for is proof that anybody can find an actual virus in the real world without deceptively manufacturing them on computer screens or in decayed monkey tissue test tubes.
Anyway, Steve is waking up at a pace that is to be expected for a 65-year old who has been deeply indoctrinated into materialism his whole life. I don't expect him to back down on the virus issue any time soon, which is unfortunate as he was keeping the debate alive for the better part of 2022.
Anyway, I support all his efforts, even if he's only 5% awake now. That 5% has been more than enough to become a jilted warrior for truth around the jab.
Deference to authority is an ancient concept. It comes from knowing that the king has the right to kill you at will. Defer to him, for sure, I guess. But we have thousands of examples of those who in the past did NOT defer to authorities. These people are called martyrs. Even young children were outspoken in the face of overwhelming earthly authority.
We live in a modern state. There is no king, and we have a legal system that supposedly guarantees us certain rights. But in fact, it does not work out that way all the time. Think of our dear President. Did he deserve what just happened to him and his family?
We are living in a state of lawlessness. These evil acts COULD HAPPEN TO YOU! Yes, you! They have not yet started the blatant attack upon Christians that is sure to come if things don't change. Then, you will have the opportunity of a lifetime: Martyrdom for Christ! Is it coming? I know it will come one day. Is it coming right now? I don't know, but it would be important for all of us to consider that as the true end game. Pray, pray, pray. When the time comes, you will know what to do.
"very smart pro-vax" is an oxymoron.
I was at a party last weekend and was discussing the jab with a woman who was jabbed. I mentioned my fully physician (who didn't jab her kids) finally admitted to me this year that we don't know the long term effects of the jabs.
This woman's response was that her fate is in God's hands. Well I didn't want to push that it was her choice and that God allows choices.
So funny - in the latter part of the last century, te DIMocrats were all about defying authority and the Republicans were "the gov't is right". It's flip flopped.
Patrick Gunnels ate that pussy's lunch.
Yep... this is my boomer parents. Well meaning, but only listen to some form of msm or another
Not all boomer parents are the same. Unlike my triple jabbed kid.
No one that is pro vax is smart
I think deference to authority is part of it, but I think the turning point or red pill moment is when people realize that the people making all these decisions, the "authority figures" don't actually have our best interests in mind. They are, in fact, doing these things intentionally (not stupidly), and gasp perhaps have an evil agenda... Once the mind makes that connection, it cannot go back. People who are unwilling to make that connection have cognitive dissonance because such a realization would shake their entire world. Hence, why they prefer to trust that the "authorities" have their best interests in mind, while nothing could be further from the truth.
"such bad messaging on our side to imply that these people are incapable of waking up. they can and are. just not all at once." I wish that was true, but most seem to be doubling down on their stupid decisions. Also, I don't see "bad messaging" on our side, merely truth and logical thinking.
Wish I could say the same, but the people I know just keep digging in further. More boosters, more animosity toward the unvaxxed.
