This is a misnomer and perhaps a subtle but important distinction for all people to be very clear about. The state, city, county, federal government, etc. gives you no rights. Our beautiful US Constitution is the supreme law of the land and even it recognizes that it (itself) gives you no rights. Your rights are from God. The Constitution recognizes this and states this -- it states that it guarantees your God given rights. It's so important for normies to get that the government doesn't give them basic human rights. It merely guarantees them.
Yeah, it should say preserving the right Nd it should also list penalties for those who try to violate their rights. Personal liability by any government official who sticks their nose in it. Take everything they own.
If we do not have the natural rights of association and feeding ourselves recognized by the government we have set up to serve us, this experiment is officially over.
You're right. I was mixing it up with the Declaration, which in my mind, goes hand and hand with the Constitution. It's the Declaration that says we are endowed by our, "Creator" with certain, inalienable rights. The Constitution directs how the government should be set up to protect those rights. My apologies for any confusion I caused.
No worries at all. The Declaration is (a very important) rhetorical document, but the Constitution is the legal document which serves as the foundation for our nation.
The closest it comes to mentioning God is in the First Amendment, which provides that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion”.
I agree with you completely. I’m just stating the actual fact that the Constitution does not base itself as being given by God nor does it cite God as the source of any rights described therein. Again, just stating a fact - don’t shoot the messenger.
Raw milk. It is so illegal here in Wisconsin you'd think that it was a toxin.
The Milk Mafia here in Wisconsin will have your cows taken away for daring to distribute this creamy, white (yellowish) 'toxin'. It is such a third rail that nearly no dairy farmer will honor a request for raw milk. There are ways around it, owning 'cow-shares', or literally be introduced by a trustworthy friend. Otherwise forget it.
The rich transplants from Mass etc are, Portland is; some small towns have been overwhelmed with e.g. Somali refugees. Another case of outsiders moving in and trying to change the way the native people live.
But hard working people and hunters are still there . . .
I have a friend that lives in Maine and her area is very conservative.
Many of the people she and her husband hire for work around their home identify as conservative.
They live in a smaller town, though. Not anywhere near Portland.
Having just driven through coastal Maine to Acadia, I can say there is a lot of Red. It's the major cities and very touristy, artsy towns that virtue signal the loudest.
I've been wondering for a long time if the gov war on raw milk is valid or not. MAYBE, it's so nutritious for kids that they deliberately put out fear about it because the scumbags wanted to stunt the full potential of continious generations so the elites can only prosper.
Raw milk is literally the healthiest thing you can drink. Raw milk is so healthy that it was used in the 1800's to cure diseases like tuberculosis. This is why it is banned, because it's the healthiest liquid you can drink. You can literally live off of it by itself.
We milked our own cow. My mom had a home pasteurizer, against Dad's recommendation. But I don't blame her. We hated the flies while milking. They would buzz and bite and make the cow kick -- us! We used the teats as power nozzles to drown the flies in the milk bucket.
When Dad was that same age, like first grade, he milked ~ 10 cows before school. His breakfast was sprayed into his mouth by the teat.
Ya know when you have to make a law giving you the right to grow your own food, the government has ceased working for the people and gone to work for Big Agra!
What the hell is the difference in what these people are doing and what the Amish farmer in PA is doing? The Federal government is fining him $250k and threatening to put him in jail.

We the people need to file class action lawsuits against the USDA for starters. They are the ones making these egregious regulations and enforcing them. They are making the Amish in Missouri feed their animals bullshit food if they want to sell any. Swat style raids on the amish, like wtf.
Go t doesn't "give" us our rights. "Creator endowed," remember? This would be covered under the Preamble and Bill of Rights under the quote of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
Edit: However, most people seem to forget that little notion. This article is also slyly insinuating that our Rights are only "given" to us thru ]their] "good graces."
We need to make sure we clearly and succinctly explain these points to our fellow People.
Most of Maine is red but the high population areas Portland and south are liberal out of state transplants. Maine also recently passed an amendment to their constitution the right to grow your own food. https://modernfarmer.com/2021/11/maine-right-to-
The government should be able to recommend certain protocols when it comes to food, but not force them. Then consumers can decide. Those following all the rules sometimes sell contaminated products and many sell products that might not be contaminated, but are shells of what they should be in terms of nutrients: produce grown on poor soil, cows fed Skittles, etc.

More people need to be sued under that. It would likely stop a whole lot of bullshit.
If we do not have the natural rights of association and feeding ourselves recognized by the government we have set up to serve us, this experiment is officially over.
The Constitution does not actually say not. It does not say your rights are from God. It does not even mention God.

Well u tell me whose authority you claim your freedom by.
God is the author of mine. All good comes from God. Rights are good.

The Milk Mafia is very real.
That alone is proof of the benefits of raw milk.
It's worse in Canada, and has been for a long time. Sucks donkey balls.
I get my raw milk at the pet store in Canada and nobody knows that I drink it too lol.
Is raw milk yellowish?
It's the high cream content.
I HATE THE MILK MAFIA! I HATE THE MILK MAFIA! I HATE THE MILK MAFIA!
Let's not call it raw milk. They get us to use their fakewords to easily.
How about natural milk?
No. Raw milk is appropriate.
Milk from the grocery store is natural.
Damn, and I though maine was over the edge liberal.

I think every state is like that. All red except major cities and big touristy areas. Very visible on county voting maps.
It was always just MSM BS!

I didn’t know you couldn’t do that now
I love the smell of anarchy in the morning.... it smells like VICTORY.

Welcome to serfdom. Farm as the ruling class dictates. No penalties for the ruling class, etc....

And this is why in my area, I am allowed 4 chickens, but I have 40. Or so. I've lost count.
You're asking for it. Don't be surprised if a black helicopter lands on your property and the fed boys come knocking on your door.
The fox raiding the hen house . . .
I've been waiting since Jan 6 for that.
Chickens tend to do that.
Bird In Hand, Pennsylvania should take note.
Well in New Jersey they tax rainwater because your house or shed or whatever keeps the rainwater from being absorbed into the ground.
They didn’t have this before? Wow, I thought Maine was located in the US.
It’s true that “freedom” word they like to say around America, is completely BS. Should have a giant * next to it.
Most places in the US do not allow raw milk sales or consumption.
Been going on for a while.

Maybe federal, but it falls right in line with state.
And then 'you' are liable for any damage you caused selling contaminated product.
Caveat Emptor. Use a warning label.
Correct. I should be able to do it until I'm called out for selling contaminated food.
That's how auto makers do it. Software vendors, toy makers, alcohol brewers, vaccine manufacturers, etc.
You should be allowed to grow food however you want, but the selling part opens the door to the feds.
Should not though. Buying milk should not need to involve the frigging federal government.
