Has anyone ever sold a car through Car Gurus or a similar site? I'm looking to downsize my payment. I got a pretty good offer from a local dealership, but am a bit upside down on it still yet.
I wish you luck. Thankfully [and I was just speaking with my wife about this today] we have two vehicles that are paid off and we don't want to and aren't going to sell. Thank God for that. Just out of curiosity I went on a local Ford dealer site and checked prices on the 2022 Explorers, because if money wasn't an object I wouldn't mind having one of them, law enforcement uses them and I sat in one, and they're comfortable. Anyway, $55,000. That's a quarter the value of our house and property. So, we're out doing errands in our 2017 2500 Laramie Longhorn, and we come home to a tricked out 2011 Crown Vic. Ummm, we're good 😎
I want that! I had a nice 2006 Lincoln LS years ago. That V8 would purr! But the electrical problems...aye, aye, aye! I traded it in. I really, really wish I coudl have kept it and my '85 Volvo wagon that was totalled in a wreck. It was a jalopy, but it was fun. It saved my life, too.

The dealership I went to offered a couple thousand less than I owe. I am looking for a car with a much lower value and will add that upside down portion to it, if it helps. I'm not a huge fan of my car, anyway. I'm not going to do anything until I know I have a good deal.
Maybe I should look into that. It wouldn't hurt to try.

Agreed! I went to a new dentist this week, I won’t be back for this reason and others. They had a TV in every room including one on the dental chair. The lady said the I hear the TV but don’t see it. It was Law & Order, can’t stand that show. I said it’s ok I don’t want to see it. Seriously, I have a phone (if) I gotta occupy my time while waiting. People can’t be silent for five minutes! I been married a long time and we sometimes drive together with out music. We actually talk to each other.
People look at us funny when they find out we don’t have a tv in our bedroom! We’ve got better things to do than watch tv in there. 😂
We only have one and it’s downstairs in our family room where we all watch together as a family. Both the our parents have four televisions. What for!? They are always on as background noise and it drives us crazy.

We never lost electricity or water. We just had a bit of wind and a lot of rain. And most of the water puddles are already going away.
I agree totally. We do have a generator wired to the house. Just flip the switch in the panel box & we are on the ginny. One to many hurricanes with out power & twenty years later we are set on electric. I can’t get my husband to see the need for backup water. We get along great but there’s some arguments you just can’t win. We even have a well my grandparents used up until the 80s when we got city water. Sure it might cost to get a pump running to see if the well is good. I think it’s worth it. I’d call semi awake. He listens to what I say about the elite controlling but he thinks “we” here are crazy to think things could be shut down by them. I figured he’ll learn eventually. He’s further along now than a year ago.

Gas is $3.22 here in northeastern NC. Diesel is over $4, but since I don't use it, I don't remember the exact price.
IDK 🤷🏼♀️ You would think after months of high gas prices and food prices people would wake-up. I think many are just sleep walking through life. Also we live in a credit world. If people can’t afford something they will get credit cards for stuff they can’t afford.
I think we are very close to the precipice. When the fake ww3 breaks out(atleast in the media portrayal) and they use that as cover to collapse the financial system, then we are at the precipice.
Hope we are there soon and then, invalidate fraudulent 2020 election, reinstate POTUS & Declass! 💥
