I was quite a happy bunny before I encountered all this Q stuff. I watched the news and I saw what was happening in the world but now, I don't watch the news and I seem to know even more!
The problem I now have is that I have come to realise that what I see can have different meanings and I do not know which one is true. So now we have:
Steve Bannon sentenced to four months in prison because he has upset a Congressional Committee that may not have been set up legitimately. In other words, there may well not actually be a crime.
Or has Bannon has been used as a reminder that contempt of Congress, which has not been invoked for half a century, is still on the statute books and could therefore be applied by future Congressional Committees.
So, what to think? Was Bannon framed or was this just a marker to show that if the make-up on Congress were to change then that law could still be applied? There can be no "We did not know", "We thought it lapsed," "It is outdated" etc excuses.
I agree on the whole news thing. Similar pattern here.
Personally, I think the left wanted to silence Bannon right before the midterms. To accomplish this, they would have had to do so before November 8th. They Failed.
Bannon is going to unleash scorched earth from here on out and it's going to be glorious.

It's stupid to try that anyway because he's got people lined up to guest host War Room when he's unavailable. I mean, he's got Peter Navarro, Steve Cortes, Posobiec, Terry Schilling, and so on.
It's way too late to stop the red wave legitimately. It's going to have to be a robbery again if they want to have a shot
Remarkably, upvote #17. Hmmm.
Wasn't Eric Holder charged with Contempt of Congress for Fast and Furious? Nothing happened of course. He blew it off.
It's a very good question to ask. In addition, what is to become of White House Staff executive privilege? In the past, Staff positions like Stave Bannon's was always accepted as having executive privilege. Not so anymore.
Simply upvote #17.
Both 1. and 2.
Doesn't have to be an either/or question. You're right on both counts.
It's very common for newsies to frame questions in such a way that the answer seems to be required to be something that reflects badly on the person to whom the question is directed.
Such questions are almost always framed around unspoken lies and erroneous, smuggled hypotheses.
In this case it is unnecessary to choose between the alternatives. Both of them contain a large portion of the whole truth.
Danchenko gets to walk but Steve Bannon gets to be a convicted felon.
They'd better wrap this movie up because this is a banana republic now and people won't stand for it.
Pretty sure these 2 charges are misdemeanors - not felonies. Misdemeanors can generally result in up to 1 yr in jail so the jail time doesn't mean it is a felony.
I think the "they" who'd better wrap up the movie is us.
of course people will stand for it. they dont care and apathy rules nowdays - that's why we're in this miss!
That is the goal to avoid an armed revolution stop trying to promote one
Good god, handshake. Could you glow any brighter?
That's just a discord tranny. A glowie doesn't talk like a faggot
D'oh, my mistake!
The more you know! Lol. Using MAGA anything (MAGAts, MAGAtards, etc) to criticize people is a sure sign of it. MAGA isn't a political label, it's a mission not bound by party. Glowies try to push you towards a thought/action and relate with you, trannies just shit everywhere and act like children
I stand with Steve Bannon! Heβs a true American Patriot!
In truth, the DoJ did charge Steve Bannon and a court did find Bannon guilty of contempt. This same court stripped Bannon of defending himself, just as we have seen in many other cases (Roger Stone, Manafort, General Flynn, et. al.). It's a star chamber court that consistently ignores the 'Fruit of the poison tree' legal doctrine.
"Contempt of Congress" is political magick. Congress cannot give itself judicial authority. The statutory law in question, is unconstitutional, and thus Bannon committed no crime.
However, this isn't how it worked. The show trial of the J6 committee made a referral to the corrupt DoJ, who then made the charge and filed it in court with a corrupt judge. The judge stripped Bannon of any legal defense. It was a star chamber.
Yes. But my point is the the committee's referral ("contempt of Congress") itself, holds no legal weight for the DoJ to prosecute because there is no such crime of "contempt of Congress", at least not in the way it's being misapplied.
Originally, "contempt of Congress" was dealing with OBSTRUCTION of Congress doing their work, specifically bribery. The work of Congress doesn't involve "investigations" against private citizens. Even if they argue that Bannon's testimony was critical for an investigation against Trump, unless this is just a never-ending impeachment effort, then there's nothing for Congress to be involved with as far as "investigations", which is the work of the judiciary, not the legislature.
Watkins v. United States was nonsense. Note the chief justice and majority opinion author... Earl Warren. Go figure... Wilkinson v. United States ruled that Congressional investigations must pursue "a valid legislative purpose", which obviously in this case with Bannon/Trump, there isn't any.
The whole thing is bullshit theatre. As people keep realizing how much of a joke our system is, hopefully that means the masses won't put up with it anymore.
I completely agree with you. The democrats make up their own rules and unconstitutional law. Biden is another one. Look at the student loan forgiveness decree that completely eliminates Congress.
Not holding congress in contempt (these days) is to aid and abet sedition and in some cases treason.
Abet: To instigate or encourage by aid or countenance; -- used in a bad sense of persons and acts
Travesty.
"Judge" "sentence"
I fucking hate being ruled over by British nobles.
Move to a different continent, they said. Start your own country, they said. Have an armed revolution, they said. There's a way out. But it's through the middle.
Makes me wonder who really won the war of 1812.
The US is officially a Banana Republic
With kangaroo courts
Banannon Republic today.
Congress holds no judicial power, except for cases of impeachment. Bannon won't serve a day.
Poso was on Bannon this morning and in-real-time read the language from the judge. If I understood correctly, he will not do any time until after all appeals. There were so many blatant problems with this case I have to believe it's another nothing burger. I was so happy to see him on the tail end of his first hour, I broke down in tears. I'm so worried about our country. For today, I feel a little better. Thank you Lord.
I agree. What is not clear to me is why Bannon didn't appeal on the merits of the matter. Maybe my memory has missed something here.
I'm not sure what the appeal will look like. I'm guessing his attorneys will throw everything at it that was wrong. What I wonder is: Were they preparing for and have they already filed the appeal?
Haha, they want to remove him from the board. Mid term elections don't need a truth sayer mucking up the theft of another election.
π₯π¬πΏ
This should be easy to appeal. Hopefully he gets a proper judge for that one.
The whole corrupt temple has to come down.
Released for now eh?
