I had chicken pox and I had shingles in my 30s. Not bad, but painful around neck and ribs for a month or two. It was at a point in my life under incredible stress. That is what I believe brought it on, and a run down immune system. Do not get the shot. Stay healthy.
Me too — had good case of chicken pox at 6-7 years old ( watched Mighty Joe Young with my dad - he was a pediatrician btw) got a mild case of shingles—lots of stress at the time ( lived on the Texas/ Mexican border and we got lots of stuff) — did a cuandero siete flores tea and healed up in two- three days
I’ve never had a flu shot and will NOT get the shingles shot- or clot shot
I rarely get sick and only wash my hands when doing dishes or bathing

My doc tried to get me to take all the shots: flu, pneumonia, shingles, covid. Knowing he'd do this as it was in the fall when they all push the shots, I asked him about the ingredients and for him to explain to me why I need that ingredient in my body.

Vit-D makes the vast majorities of colds(including c19) and flu's symptom free or near symptom free, low B12 while rare will cause some rather horrendous symptoms that are often miss-diagnosed as alzheimers(among other things).
Get your vitamin and mineral levels checked and do some research rather than going by what is deemed medically 'normal'(which is determined by observed average and nothing else...)...

My husband had shingles after being prescribed steroids for his eye transplant. So beware. Ask your doctor, better yet, ask 2 doctors.

We almost did the shingles vax as we have family members who got shingles later in life, before covid. So it's not just the vaccinated that get it.
However after reading Robert F Kennedy Jr.'s book The Real Dr. Fauci we have changed our minds.
