Let's give this man the best gift that we can possibly give him, he should get to see his hard work pay off before he leaves us.
Ron Paul should have been president, and "they" screwed him on that.
Let's restore the elections starting with him!
I hand wrote him in when I realized Kerry and Bush were Skull and Bones.
I voted for him.
Me too.
Yes! Paul had Trump-level crowds and support; some supporters even ran a large Ron Paul Blimp for a while. The MSM gave him the complete slander-and-cancel treatment, including leaving his name OFF of polls including a few times when he WON the poll outright.
I remember how Ron was all over a Reddit back in 08. You'd swear all of Reddit was libertarian by just how much he was talked about and how he covered the front page
Supposedly he beat Romney in 2012 but was not going to be allowed by the RNC to win
I went to a candidate event here in NH and they held a straw poll. It was some like 250 for Ron and Romney came in second with like 7.
Amen- End The Fed!
Amen.
Let him lead the audit team.
That might be best! Actually, let the man rest. Get him a comfy recliner and a snacks butler to watch it unfold in peace!
"Ron Paul cured my apathy." That was a popular slogan among his supporters years ago, and it's true. He motivated me to care about what's happening in our government. Before him, I voted only third party but felt like there was nothing I could do. He's the reason why a lot of us are on this path now. The man is a national treasure and a living hero.
Ron Paul DELIVERED me my redpilling.
It would be very interesting to see how many on GAW voted for him. I'll bet it's a significant percentage.
I voted for him. I used to mostly vote Democrat (I was fast asleep still). But back in the 90's I voted for Ross Perot, a quirky businessman who I thought was outside of the establishment. Then in 2012 I supported Ron Paul. When POTUS came down the elevator in 2015 then I boarded the Trump Train. Now I would never vote Democrat again.
Haha! I voted Perot too. Remember that admiral who was his running mate? Totally whiffed his VP debate. What a shame.
I can hardly remember, in fact I had to look it up. Admiral James Stockdale. He did not prep for the vp debate. According to a snippet I just read in review, Al Gore and Dan Quayle were prepped for the debate while he wasn't even told he would be in the debate until a week before?
I mean, I'm from Sweden and that doctor made me care about US politics for the first time. I think he is great, shame on the RINOs, MSM and rest of the establishment.
Reporting for duty.
🙋
Shook the man's hand.
Yeah - even though I'm not American I remember being blown away watching clips of Ron Pauls run in 2007. It was my introduction to a lot of those ideas and that there was a genuine alternative to the corrupt 2 party apparatus most of the world lives under.
When Trump is back at the White House, he should immediately appoint Ron Paul as his Economic Advisor and help us move to gold and silver backed currency and transition from the Fed back to the U.S. Treasury. We all feel a portion of what Ron feels. We've been frustrated for years watching the Dems and RINOS destroy our country, something he's been watching for a lot longer. He's a good man on a mission much like Robert F. Kennedy, Jr who has been warning us for decades about the danger of vaccines and big pharma. Both men should be rewarded with positions of authority as soon as Trump is back.
Actually something I can get behind. 👍
I agree 100%.
Upvoat ... but I do not want to ruin your no 17.
The only presidential candidate I ever got excited about and donated hundreds of dollars to. He is the GOAT.
And a true unsung hero. Greatest Of All Time Statesman (I might see a tie with Samuel Adams, but that will be explained in a later post.)

Sammy's beer is better.
Maybe, but Ira Stoll makes a good case for him (Samuel Adams) being one of the best of the Founders.
Ron Paul is what drew my attention to the overt media manipulation of elections.
They wouldn't even say his NAME on air they were so terrified of him because he was openly going after the Federal Reserve and pushing for a gold standard.
The media literally pretended he wasn't running.
You are forgetting the staggering amount of babies this man helped bring into this world
He succeeded to reach me 100% upon first impressions never stopped my gas tank from running out Also, Bill Cooper is so similar and I have to presume that they met, or had mutual friends/ circles !
Trump/Paul 2024
I would love to see the Pauls in the next Trump admin.
Ron Paul is a true American Hero. He never has given up. He keeps pushing his message of truth! He really red pilled me. I used to be a dumb ass democrat!
Ron Paul is the only reason I voted for a Republican - Voted for Trump to shake them up and 45 did his job in 2016 - now 2022 I'm ready to vote out any RINO. MAGA only from now on.
I supported Ron Paul but not Trump until I saw John Podesta's emails. Trump was the best chance to keep our State Department from turning into a child trafficking station.
I APPROVE THIS MESSAGE. BETTER THAN ALL THE REST.
That apple doesn’t fall far from the tree!

Exiting times, back then.
Bless this man.
Amen, the true GOAT!
Cassandra syndrome.
Stupid take. Gtfo
No, RPR was not your down vote, per se. I was. Former Congressman Ron Paul essentially laid the foundation so that his son, President Trump and others could raise the standard. Ron Paul and the R3VO7UTION were the clarion call, don't blame him if hardly anyone listened for twenty years. Many of the principles Ron Paul speaks of are Scriptural. So we should not be surprised if they are not heard.

I was wrong to word what I said the way I did. As I said I have immense respect for Dr Paul and he is absolutely someone much greater than I am but what I didn’t get across right, and it is wholly my fault for wording this wrong, is that he is absolutely worth emulating and is beyond reproach from people like me since he has done so much work behind the scenes for the cause of Good.
I don't often respond to a comment I disagree with, but this just hit me in the gut. Seeking to be respectful in disagreement paid off, I believe, for both of us. As someone who supported his run in 2008 , seeing how the Romney bots essentially stole the delegates in some cases was extremely disheartening.
Even if you were to have been slightly disrespectful I like to think I would have taken the criticism to heart. You were absolutely right and I was wrong to word things that way and such things are actually important to call out like you did. Thank you for this as you’ve done me a favour and given me a reminder to be more careful.
