Yes, I recall the stickies, and it's very encouraging to know the town square has been neutralized. Almost encouraging enough to rejoin, and it's a conflicting situation for me personally. Woods has been very active and a great asset to the movement, as are many others. But I can see how exhausting it must have been for him, and my particular critic of social media was based on general observations over a long period of time and experience. In general, social media has drawbacks and benefits. Sometimes a person just needs to unplug and take a break.
I think James has found the great deception and is ready to move forward without social media. I think I totally understand as well.

Why wait until Elon purchased it? Been making noise for gears. Suddenly we see progress in multiple areas like Bal Gate, and he wants to bounce? Makes no sense.
perhaps he feels comfortable stepping back a bit now that we are not being crushed by censorship.... He has certainly fought hard for many years.... and he is getting up there in years... s I hope that he is able to enjoy his life, I for one will miss his voice.
But now Twitter is beginning to thrive as is the marketplace of ideas. So deflation is in decline. Again, makes no sense.
Twitter is being tainted more by Elon?? The platform has been mostly purged of bots, antifa has been banned (by proxy due to pedogate), hate speech continues to decline as red wave reintegrates due to unbans. What is tainted now? Why is this conversation happening just as things tip in our favor?

No, there's a difference between a forum and social media. With social media you generally have a public profile with information about who you are (real name) , your job, your interests etc. & The goal is to "connect with others" which is meant to translate into real life. Forums like this don't have a public profile as such, the closest you get is a "post history" like with reddit for example. You do not "add friends" or follow anyone on forums nor do you publish your real name (if you're smart).

Mr. Woods is asking the community to do to people who ask questions about history, the jews, the Talmud and Hitler what the leftists did to all of us on Twitter before Musk. I think many people know the difference between hatefulness and revealing truth that has been kept hidden.

Perhaps this is simply a strategic move to maintain a quiet appearance when it comes to his lawsuit re: Twitter Files.
One thing I've noticed in dealing with lawyers, they want their clients to STFU while they build cases. On offense or defense.

He is absolutely correct. The stress of reading all the problems of the world and watching degenerates in action is overwhelming. I hope he enjoys his time away from it all. Plus I hope he sues the shit out of the DNC.
While it's important to have an open and honest 'town square' to share valuable information to the public, and fight tyrannical brainwashing, the social programming aspects can be dangerously distracting. When people pay more attention to their followers, and likes, and upvotes than the actual message content, it becomes a degrading pattern of Pavlov's dog-style manipulation based on a rewards system. The content on GAW is far superior and more information-focused, and, to some extent, the upvote/downvote system does help to self-moderate against idiocy. I can understand Woods' position. One needs self-care and a balanced personal life.

That's why I left fakebook. Got tired of "jail", seeing friends in "jail," and shadow banning, anyway. After a while, I didn't want Zuckerburg to get another second of my time or penny from my presence. I don't regret it.
He could be taking a break because of his pending lawsuit against twitter. He may not want to jeopardize his case by saying something in a tweet that could weaken his case, or become entrapped by some troll looking for ammo to use against him in court.
He is right... Social media is like a mine field and you never quite know for sure the safe path. It is exhausting each day to endure it. However, it is an essential part of an information civil war being fought by those valiant souls who call out the fake and push out the truth for all to see. It takes a special type of warrior, an Anon.
