Hero. May we all be as brave when the time comes.
Texas taco joint already came
Amen.
The balls gave him momentum, like a wrecking ball.
Bishnu Shreshtha: The Gurkha Hero Who Fought 40 Thugs & Saved A Girl From Being Raped
https://www.scoopwhoop.com/inothernews/gorkha-hero-bishnu-shreshtha/
Not a recent event but noteworthy, if only there were more like him. Gurkhas are the best.
Copied the first 2 pp from Wikipedia. I had never heard of Ghurkas.
The Gurkhas or Gorkhas (/ˈɡɜːrkə, ˈɡʊər-/), with endonym Gorkhali [ɡorkʰali]), are soldiers native to the Indian Subcontinent, chiefly residing within Nepal and some parts of Northeast India.[1][2]
The Gurkha units are composed of Nepalis and Nepali Speaking Indian People and are recruited for the Nepali Army (96,000),[3] Indian Army (42,000), British Army (4,010),[4] Gurkha Contingent Singapore, Gurkha Reserve Unit Brunei, UN peacekeeping forces and in war zones around the world.[5] Gurkhas are closely associated with the khukuri, a forward-curving knife, and have a reputation for military prowess. Former Indian Army Chief of Staff Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw once stated that: "If a man says he is not afraid of dying, he is either lying or he is a Gurkha."[6]
They undergo grueling tests to qualify, need to be super fit.
My father lugged a Bren gun around, amongst other things, in Burma during WWII.
He said the Gurkhas would take their curved knives and crawl into the Japanese positions and quietly cut their throats at night.
He said they were the best soldiers he ever met.
I thought they were pickles.
...this is a photograph of a "man"....
...who embodies the phrase, fuck around and find out.

Well defined.
In America he would have been indicted for stabbing "too much".
And the thugs' families would have been given international media platform to say some like this:
"He good kids he don't want hurt nobody "
That is soooo right. I can’t believe we are this extreme.
Yes America now is weak AF
Exactly and he would be sued.
Great soldiers, the Gurkha!!!
Absolute beasts the Gurkas, treated abysmally by the shameful British government.
Sadly true, they deserve better. Joanna Lumley campaigned on their behalf and helped to improve their lot.
He wasn't stuck on a train with them, they were stuck on a train with Him
Pretty much.
I'm looking forward to the time when honor is the rule instead of the exception.
Hat's off to this brave warrior!
Define: Patriot
If this was in the U.S., the family of the criminals he killed would sue him. DA's in CA would probably charge him for murder, but let the rapists go free.
Gurkhas are brave mofos. They ran to the fight when others ran away in AFG.
We need an army of men like him.
"With only a knife" it says, and in the link posted on comments it says, "..with only a kukri"
IYKYK
When I was a little kid, I asked my Grandfather about this strange bent looking knife he had on the wall. He told me stories about the Gurkha and how they terrified their enemy by sneaking up on them and silently slitting their throats. Gurkha are not to be messed with.
I have one of these knives. My father brought it back from India. He fought in China, India, and Burma in WWII.
A good choice for any survival kit.
I received this daily verse today which I thought was fitting:
"Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor." -Proverbs 21:21
if we had more mad lads like this hero in the usa's shithole lefty cities the crime would stop. its the only thing the criminals have to fear.
There is another story with Sir Edmond Hillary about an awesome Gurkha soldier. The party was crossing a crevasse over a fairly huge log, the distance was some 20 feet or so IIRC. When crossing snowy areas, people are connected via ropes in the event of getting lost in a whiteout or falling into a hidden crack in the glacier. As the story goes, the first man slipped and went over, pulling the next man connected to him, and another. The Gurkha, who was the last man, saw what was coming and jumped off the opposite side, he saved 6 I believe including himself by doing what most wouldn't.
The Gurkhas have won many VCs. Fearless.
An ACTUAL chad.
It was not a knife! He did it with a pencil! Kek Kek!
A farking pencil kek
A person who truly did the right thing and faced great danger doing it. As, I am sure others called him, a true hero.
That’s what I call heroooo.
May God Bless & Protect Bishnu Shrestha and his loved ones.
God bless that man.
God please bless Mr. Shrestha and thank You for giving him the physical strength to save the girl and the spiritual strength to recognize his duty as a human being.
This is the kind of refugee we should be trying to get to move to our countries.
Salute!
Here's a video explaining the incident. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2y63RtDDYQ
Thanks!
Wouldn't be something to behold if men like this from all over the world united together to change our world.
Ghurka Soldier, nuff said!
the payment was dowry... get the hint!
LOL!
Gurkha’s are bad ass, I never ran into one but a few Army Ranger buddies did and they have nothing but respect.
God bless this man
If I were the parents, I would insist on some reward.
While we need to ensure that heroes like this do so on the basis of morality, we should also always show our support at every possible turn and reward heroic behavior.
looks like you ain't buying this guy a beer, this guy's buying you a beer..
