Darn right they did!
Maybe the Supremes should come out with a code of conduct for congress, see how they like it!
Of course the court can't make laws but imagine if members of government had to prepare a summery of how their actions had supported the Constitution (which of course they have all sworn to uphold). Sort of like an annual review process
I'm a master electrician, I had to document 8,000 hours of work only allowing half to be residential experience... then I had to document 3,000 hours of planning and layout under direct supervision of a master electrician. 11,000 hours, that's 5.5 years of your life if you only take 2 weeks of vacation each year. I'm allowed to wire a building now legally but if you make it six months in the academy they give you a squad car and a gun.
I have to do "continuing education" to maintain my license. Civil servants should be quizzed on constitutional rights frequently and have to volunteer for 4 years before they collect a check. My little cousin volunteered 4 years for the fire department and now he's a hot shot. Kid runs a full crew of smoke jumpers and he didn't do it for the paycheck.
Make those fuckers wear Nascar jackets showing their sponsors and make sure they understand the constitution.
That should be required for every single word that they put to paper. It was / is the job of the people in each county to carefully watch all elected public servants who came from their counties. The Committeeman is then SUPPOSED to hold these miscreants absolutely accountable for every misstep via recall or indictment. G.R. Mobely (http://reclaimingtherepublic.org) is working with legislators of several states (so far) to educate them about the Republic Review process whereby they will examine every bit of "legislation" emanated by our public servants. This is how we will eliminate the 3-letter agencies ALL of which are illegitimate.
He is also working with county commissioners in a few states (so far) to educate them about what they are lawfully supposed to be doing. This is how we get the state and fed mafia out of our lives.
Both of the ""Houses of Representatives I and II"" supposedly have Codes of conduct or some such thing....
But they're Hush Hush, secrets, because the Public do not deserve to know....
That must change. They work for us; we do not work for them--as it's been for many years.
Yeah, stop congress in the name of love.
Should have taken up that election case.
I assume it wasn't time yet. From this, it is obvious that Thomas is on the white hat team & they know he will lead the court on the corruption of the deep state when the time is right
Oddly enough. The case still isn't dead.
Oversight? By whom?
Constitution gives the Judicial Branch equal significance. The courts are not subject to "oversight" by another branch.
If course they push back.
:0) the constitution
Is that even a thing anymore?
Does the Constitution apply in a Banana Republic?

"It's very clear [all the justices] recognize what's going on. That's why they signed this statement. This isn't about the ethics code, because they've got one," Severino contended. "This is about intimidating certain members of the court, and they all can get behind exactly what the proper guidelines are."
What is your take on this?
Hopefully not to be bought out !
It's just a bunch of Asshole Leftists that for about 40 years have been working hard at finding a way to set up a ""Watchdog Group"" that oversees what SCOTUS does, En Toto, meaning when they Shit, Sleep, Eat, what they drink, what tv shows they watch, etc....
It is INTENDED for this Group to gain Full Control of SCOTUS with the Intention of having the ability to tell members of SCOTUS what they will chose with each case that comes in front of them....
In other words, it's just another Criminal Element Group trying to overthrow another part of the Federal Government....
It's gives me hope that Roberts is standing firm & even the one that doesn't know what a woman is, at least knows when she could be next
Right. It doesn't take principles to object to measures that threaten to strip your power. The founders certainly knew what motivated people.
Tring to turn it into a bureaucratic nightmare like everything else at the frderal oevel.
It makes me think of the Brunson case and how they talked about congress planning to reduce the power of the Supremes. This feels to me like they understand that in order to save their own skins, they have to have a united front on any such attempt.
SCOTUS needs to be brought back into line as well as the rest of our public servants.
Whose line ?
Back within their constitutional confines. They are not allowed to make law, among other things.
Really? Not even an appearance of corruption? That is completely and totally false. There is a mountain of "appearance of corruption" in their refusal to take on Texas v. Pennsylvania in the election fraud of 2020.
These radical left media outlets just lie whenever they feel like it. I get that you have to prove actual corruption, and it's never been proven. But appearance of corruption is very evident to anyone who read that disgusting opinion.
I assume that when they over state something with lots of unnecessary adjectives ("no actual evidence of", "even the appearance of") to the point where it's impossible they are trying to tell the reader that the exact opposite is true but there is someone holding a gun to their head as they type.
You know like the old Freudian slip by Freud himself: “I can certainly recommend the Gestapo to everyone” - Sigmund Freud, 1938
Sounds like the Supreme Court is about ready to call Option One Plumbing!
I read that as getting the clots out.

Thank you !
Oversight on what?
“Ruling the correct way”
The obvious question: Who decides what the correct way is?
The court. That's why there is the separation of powers in the constitution.
I meant in the supposed oversight. I agree with you here.
That would be the probable oversight committee of political appointed hacks.
Doesn't matter. It's all theater. The military has been in control since before this movie started. 🍿🍿🍿
I don’t believe it for a second. The military part. The unelected bureaucrats are the ones that seem to be in control. That and the Chinese money that’s spread around DC.
That's because our military intelligence is smart enough to fool you... and I'm thankful for that because you don't seem too bright given all the clues right in your face.
Hope the disclose who their leaker was
Does Congress have the power to enact laws concerning the Supreme Court? Each branch is equal but separate - seems to me, this would be like trying enact laws the President has to follow.
This job could easily be replaced with AI
What job can't be?
The SCOTUS needs to make a 'sticker' that says 'Any law that conflicts with the US. Constitution, OR The Bill of Rights, is not only null and void, but will be considered treason by the Congress'. Then slap it on the law and send it to the DOJ for referral.
I have two questions 1) who leak 2) who owns Roberts
This is rich, coming from Congress. Where is their code of conduct? How many millions are paid out secretly every year for members accused of sexual misconduct? This is kept secret from we, the taxpayers. Also where is your code of conduct in accepting payoffs from lobbyists, doing insider trading and voting on bills which you have been paid off by lobbyists to vote in their favor?
Interpretation: They what Thomas reined in. They know that he is on the white hat team & will lead the court in prosecuting their corruption & they can't call him racist.
