Article 1, Section 5 of the Constitution says that a two-thirds majority vote in the House is needed to expel one of its members. The rules for removing a member are the same in the Senate.
Expulsion by a two-thirds vote is the only way to remove a sitting member of either chamber of Congress, unless they resign or die.
Even if it doesn't pass, it's not pointless. Let's see who votes which way. After this report I think it may be harder for even the Dems to support this guy publicly. We shall see!

Let's say there are 2/3 of the house that vote to expel him. Thus could be the one that gets things rolling in a visible sense. You can arrest a member of congress in session for a felony, treason , or breach of the peace. However, picking him up as a regular civilian would not garner the circus response if he was still a member of congress. Could easily pick him up discreetly and let the others really begin to panic.
