My Mom is unfortunately back in the hospital. Things were going great until the end of June; digestion was returning to normal, energy levels were high, oxygen was good, the main concern were her blood levels and bone marrow. The doctor cited some studies stating that Fenbendazole stunts bone marrow production after they found out she was taking it, it scared her so bad she stopped taking it altogether. We're now 3 weeks later and she's been in the hospital all week, her bowel is obstructed and and she was vomiting last week, she now has not eaten in 9 days. Been on morphine the entire time, I'm convinced she has a parasite again as she expelled worms the last time we started Fenben in April.
Doctors of course are blaming the cancer and saying, "this is how it goes", but what changed from 2.5 weeks ago? It's so frustrating. They're pretty much suggesting we just let her go and she's still refusing fenben since it's not part of their "protocol".
