I know from personal experience standing in formation a couple decades ago a lot of guys would keep their knees completely locked straight and it would create circulation issues and I've seen a few pass out in rank. I'm betting this is jab related but sometimes rookies lock their knees and wind up passing out.

These are not 'Elite Honor Guard'. They are LEOs from the Supreme Court. They might not have ever had military experience. They may have never even held Honor Guard position before. There is no way to know the truth of this situation. I don't know why folks get so hard laughing at others, and claiming they know this was caused by the clot shot. It's fucking annoying.

I would doubt a member of the honor guard would succumb to passing out via locked knees. That is so drilled in to all military and especially someone serving on honor guard, I doubt that was the reason.
Agreed, but only if this was someone with a lot of experience. It is possible (albeit remotely) that this person was fairly new and was put there because of fewer experienced members being available around the holidays. I would think this particular detail would be a good one to introduce newer members without the pressures of a presidential detail or a death of someone active and high-ranking in the govt. Kind of like a new 3rd infantry tomb guard walking at night when nobody is there to see them (other than their trainers), before being moved to daytime walks in peak tourist season.
Honestly, at this point I could imagine ten percent of people in a crowded city area just dropping like flies and the average, brainless sheeple standing there parroting out what their FNM talking-head masters have told them, namely “This has always happened.” and/or “It’s long Covid. Better get my next booster so I’ll be protected.” SMH.
Btw… I hope this honor guard is okay. Any word on whether or not they survived?

I spent 5.5 years on the Honor Guard. If a person locks their knees for a long period, they can pass out. We were taught to keep our knees unlocked. So, I am not convinced this is a VAX or other problem like that, unless the individual actually had a heart event.

I would think a trained honor guard wouldn't make that mistake. I've probably wasted 3 months of my life standing in formations, seen 2 people drop. One in bootcamp, one while we were standing at attention on the uss Eisenhower while President Reagan circled in a helicopter and gave a short speech over radio that was piped to the 1MC (one of the ships many intercoms), I remember be cause it was my buddy standing behind me. He fell right into my back. Fun fact: our formation spelled the Name IKE. Still have a picture of it somewhere.
Yes, people who have been on the Guard are trained to keep their knees unlocked. But, after long standing, some people’s minds wander and they instinctively lock their knees. That’s when even seasoned Guardsmen mess up. I have actually seen a guy fall asleep standing up and not fall down. As the Commander, I had to subtly wake them up. Usually, for super long winded political speeches, I would snap around and do an “inspection” walk to each member and insure they were okay. If a member was stressed, I would have them do an individual fall out movement and go back stage. Then they would come back after a free minutes. We made it look as professional as possible.
It happens often enough. While I was in The Old Guard, I saw plenty of guys ‘fall out’. I did it once myself at The Pentagon during a ceremony. I was caught before I hit the ground thank goodness.
Depends on a LOT of factors but the weird thing was that I got a good meal, good night’s sleep, etc etc.

I can foresee suicides of the medical professionals as well as parents of kids. It’s going to be a very sad time for many that refused to listen.
