Good morning! I am looking for the video that shows a professor playing music for his students that they can only hear in their minds. I thought I had saved it. Thanks!
Here it is: professor bounces sound waves carrying music that can not be heard out loud
Yes!!! Thanks so much!!
Is there any more context? I’ve been looking but can’t find anything that seems correct.
Thanks so much! I can only describe the video a little further. They are in a classroom. The professor asks the students to pick a song, which they do, and then he turns a machine on and all the students are shocked because they can hear the music in their minds. We can't hear the music on the video. I believe I saw it on a post here, within the last 3 or 4 months. Again, thank you for your help!!
Well, I’ve been looking. Was it having anything to do with “Smart Beaming?” I can’t find anything specifically with a prof and students but the tech does exist where you can hear things with a device such as this-
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4zHxwUJR8dQ&pp=ygUaRGV2aWNlIHBsYXlzIG11c2ljIGluIG1pbmQ%3D
Smart Beaming by Noveto https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Pf3QePhKqg8
Not the video I was looking for, but definitely similar tech. Thank you, fren!!!
Oh good, I’m glad I could help a little!
Random thought / question. The last two nights on Nora O'Donnell and David Muir they have talked about how bottled water may be so dangerous due to micro plastics. Me assuming everything they say is a lie got me to thinking. Since the WEF recently said there would be a problem with water that would get our attention, and the whole "watch the water" thing, do you think they want normies to stop buying bottled water so 1) they aren't prepared for the upcoming man made and "natural" disasters they have planned for us and 2) they intend to contaminate the water supply and or stop the supply of water so they get sick? And before anyone asks why I was watching those shows, my husband is still asleep. I watch with him and drop little truth bombs whenever I can.
I think you got it. Good analysis
Bless your heart must be exhausting having a sleepy husband. You could be on to something though. For them to be telling people to avoid the bottled water speaks volumes. I always do opposite of what they say. I have a water pitcher that catches alot of contaminants and alkalines the water. Soon as it finishes I move it to a glass pitcher. I even give it to my dog and cat. I hope that it is doing what it says it does.
What’s the name of your filter water pitcher. I’m sick of buying bottled water. Most of the time my water smells like a swimming pool. I refuse to cook with it. It’s just a hassle carrying that bulk from the store to car, from the car to the house. I can’t talk hubby into getting a filter for the house. We normally agree on most things but if he says no on something he has to physically do I let it go.
It’s called the Hskyhan Pitcher set. I looked around for a while before I bit the bullet and bought it. It’s reasonably priced and so far I like it. The water taste good to me.
Thanks I’m tired of bottled water. Don’t mind using it just takes up a lot of room and my house is very small, built in 46. Two bedroom 1 bath we remodeled the entire house. I think hubby wants a water jug deal.
I’ve looked into all kinds of water filters and the jugs as well. I live alone and I don’t want to spend a fortune for it. Oh I love old houses, they have such character and are well built. My house was built in 65 and it has two bedrooms and one bath as well. I bought it because I got 3 acres with it and I have no neighbors. I knew my daughter wouldn’t be there forever, so it’s perfect for me.
Dang every time we talk we have something in common. You sure you aren’t around the corner from me😆 My house is cinder block built by my granddad & great granddad. Just about everyone in my family has lived in the house except one. We have about an acre maybe less not sure. It’s too damn much if you are cutting grass and hubby has professional lawnmower that’s paid for, 15 years. We have about 20 acres that my parents owns, was my grandparents & he bought out my uncle when they passed. It will belong to me & my brother when they pass. It’s just used for hunting you can’t build on it because it’s too swampy. Has trails you can walk on. If I ever get to build a new house I’d build it long like the long brick houses from 60s or 70’s. I used to love old houses until we started remodeling. That’s no fun! Glad you got a house that works for you☺️
I know girl we could be family and not even know it😂. I did put up a fence around what I wanted to be my immediate yard. You have to come inside a gate to even get in the yard, didn’t want anyone coming that wasn’t aware of. The rest my brothers keeps cut for me. I love to work in the yard but since the grandbabies started getting here not much time to do it.
It sounds like you are close to the source water treatment plant. Try putting water in a pitcher. The chlorine will off gas. If you put it in something with a screw on lid the gas will wind up occupying the container "head space" I used to open my waster bottle and blow the residual chlorine gas out before drinking it.
I’m not sure how close I am to the water filtration place. The rivers are just dirty! You can’t expect good water when you are pumping sewage in the river. Of course it’s filtered but it’s still 💩 in the river. It’s for the sewage trucks that pump out septic tanks. I’m sure the city sewage goes in the river also. I’m not a tree hugger but dang we could do better. I’ll try that with the water. I do that with my plants guess I could taste it. My taste buds are very sensitive. Don’t have the source about taste buds but it’s interesting. Read years ago people had more or less tast buds or higher sensitivity, can’t remember. My daughter and husband think I’m nuts when I say something is bad. My mom is the same. Got sensitive nose also just like my dad & brother🤣 we can detect things others can’t.
I never fathomed how bad potable water could be until I flew to Chicago for a business trip. The waitress told me it must be my first time since I asked for water & let me know that the soda flavor masked how bad it tasted.
My 2nd glass was filled with a carbonated drink I had not had for over a couple years. It very clearly tasted like pool water.
You may want to look at multiple brands to at least remove the chlorine. I would hope that gets rid of that pool taste/smell. On a side note, chlorine does not smell like the nostalgic pool scent we all know. It is only after urine has been added that the "pool scent" is created
https://waterfilterguru.com/best-water-filter-for-chlorine-removal/ There was a picture listed here.
https://www.realsimple.com/best-water-filter-pitchers-6827844 there seem to be some good options here for various filters to remove chlorine.
There is one that My Patriot Supply offers if you like their options.
Likely removing the chlorine (maybe trichloramine) will be enough to get rid of that smell.
Who knows, maybe if your husband watches that Mark Rober video with you, he may consider a filter option. My parents opted for a kitchen sink under the counter drinking filter. There is also the option to just add a filter to a refrigerator if you have a waterline going into your fridge.
I have to disagree about chlorine smell. I’m not arguing pee might make it smell different. I had an above ground pull almost 15 years and a hot tub longer than that. Straight chlorine out of the bucket is strong and I love the smell because I grew up in pools. I’m weird like that love smell of gas because it reminds of growing up at the lake in the summer. I know smelling gas isn’t safe but it’s in the lake from the boats.
I think I might him him closer to a filter than before he’s tired of lugging water. We disagree about the filter. Most don’t get all the crap out. There’s chlorine and another chemical similar to chlorine. Regular cheaper filters doesn’t get the other chlorine out. Dang just reread your post. Not edited. Yes I think it’s trichloramine.
Another issue is I want entire house filter. The water messes up your clothes and irritates skin and isn’t great for hair. Water bottles really aren’t healthy. Most have flouride and what ever else is coming from the stream or tap. I will say I don’t like plastic but it’s not a game changer. Unless you get your water from a clear high up mountain stream you are getting plastic. Water comes through plastic pipes. I know everyone knows this. Just blows my mind people talk about plastic bottles and not the pipes. Also forever plastics are in the water.
Thanks for the links I’ll check them out.
Edit: If the restaurant doesn’t have a bar I take my own water. It’s against the law to take a beverage into a restaurant with a bar they could loose their liquor license. I prefer room temp water. We have a filter on the fridge. I don’t think it’s great.
I have tried a couple fridge filters & figured if it gets rid of flouride, I am content with it. Luckily we don't have water sanitized with chlorine like it seemed Chicago was.
A buddy of mine down the road had a spring & many people would come to get fresh water off the mountain side. It tasted so great. A few others nearby have wells that seem to have the same clear water too. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be that same supply where I am at, though enough friends & family close by have clean wells that are willing to help all neighbors in a pinch. I really love where we live due to the culture of helping & loving our neighbors.
If you have bad water that’s awesome! Yeah, I bet Chicago is awful! I passed by in when I was 15 maybe 81 or 82 when we were going to Wisconsin. As a kid it was shocking to see the projects. Have no desire to visit!!!
What is going on with Fetterman
https://twitter.com/TimRunsHisMouth/status/1745343078133612603
Starting to like him now.
Saw something about him having a stroke & returned thinking more critically. I think he was swapped.
That said, it could be advantageous to make a Timeline meme against leftists that strokes will cause family members to become more conservative like Fetterman has 😂
Okay, so I posted this last night and a mod asked me to ask it in here, instead. I hope one of you will know what I mean.
There was a great meme posted here not too terribly long ago (maybe within the last few months?) It was a collage of the nutters working for biden. I think Sam britten was wearing one of his best stolen cocktail dresses. Pretty sure it was green. I don't remember the other details, but the meme showcased the various mentally ill people in high places in the biden admin. Can any of you share that please? Please? Please? Bueller? Thanks.
I looked in my folders I couldn’t find it
Well, thanks for checking, fren. I'm so frustrated with myself! Although, I do think sometimes the site glitches and thinks we think we've saved have not actually been saved.
Yes, I agree! I could have sworn I save something, and then, when I go back, I can’t find it.
Also, I tried to say something in my Maui folder on PDW, and it’s gone. It’s not there at all. I haven’t checked on GAW. But why would anyone want to delete my Maui folder? 👀
Hmm. Why indeed.
Is this what you were looking for?
https://patriots.win/p/17s5fh4g3d/the-empire-of-wokeness/c/
No, that's a good one too, but it's not the one I meant. The one I meant had people directly in the biden admin, like Sam 'likes to steal and wear women's dresses' Brinton and nutty "Admiral" levine and so forth. Thanks though. I really wish I could find it because I have an opportunity with a normie who is completely unaware of this stuff. I don't know how anybody could be so clueless, but they are, so I was wanting to show them that meme to show them one example of what a catastrophe the biden admin is. Thanks though, fren.
Well, I checked my GAW folders, and the Maui folder is there for this site. Weird.
Did I hear some idiot Republican congress woman yesterday when chastizing Hunter Biden say you’re abusing your “white privilige.” That dipshit congresswoman is either trying to push the race angle while acting as if she’s a Republican on our side or she’s a stupid fuck? Was it Marsha Blackburn? Whoever it was needs to be kicked out of congress on her ass. These people think they’re slick the way they do these things. Hunter is taking advantage of his criminal gangster/politician father and it doesn’t matter what color that fucker is. They’re trying so hard to start the race war. I pray to Jesus that people aren’t that stupid to fall for this trickery.
It works both ways. Over using "white privilege", especially against their own people, will get the left to slowly stop caring about that term, and it loses its effect.
It was Nancy Mace, there was blood coming out of her eyes, out of her ....... yeah she was crazy and using that phrase was not helpful to the cause at all.“My first question is who bribed Hunter Biden to be here today?” the South Carolina representative began, implying that Biden may have been paid to attend a hearing about him.
“Second question: You’re the epitome of white privilege. Coming into the Oversight Committee, spitting in our face, ignoring a congressional subpoena to be deposed. What are you afraid of? You have no balls to come up here today.”
Nothing like having a good laugh at your own folly. I was totally thrown, perplexed and mystified by a crossword clue: Spinster who broke the 1000 m record. Then I realised I'd misread spinster for sprinter.
Still laughing like a drain every time I think of it.
Anyone else hear MTG calling out Hunter as he ran out of the Contempt of Congress hearing?
I did.
However the humor was dampened by the complete mortificationI felt watching that hearing. Most dems are couldn't have been more disgusting than if they arrived covered in feces. If they were on an elementary playground they would have been sent to the principal's office for their behavior. That said, there were a few Republicans who do not represent well either.
Great example of how broken Congress is.
i just love this quote from 'strange days'-
Mace : You're some piece of work, Lenny Nero. You're just calmly backstroking along in the big toilet bowl and somehow you never let it touch you. I mean, between working vice and your current so-called occupation, you must have seen every kind of perversion. But you're just like... some teflon man, you still come out this goofball romantic.
Lenny Nero : It's my sword and my shield, Mace.
Aside from Q, what is your favorite "conspiracy theory?"
During the rapture, do women who are pregnant lose their babies. Basically do unborn babies go to heaven in the rapture? Or will they actually be born into the seven years off of the tribulation?
If a person is considered a human at conception, but I would think, since a child in the room is under the age of accountability, then they would go in the rapture.
Just something I’ve been pondering.
I suppose it depends on if the rapture is pre or post trib. I would argue that based on David and Bathsheeba's baby's death, any such baby would go straight to heaven. And that seems consistent with God's loving nature to me.
Moon landing. Been down that rabbit hole quite a bit and there's always something new to learn.

never heard of that either, cool. I always held out hope for the last starfighter recruiting tool.
Interdasting. Never heard of that one. Thanks.

Never thought it meant he was praising the devil, just thought he was pointing out how complicit we can be lured into doing evil.
OkGo actually did an interesting "sequel" to the song, where the song is spoken from the perspective of the devil basically saying "Yeah, I'm an evil dude, but all this war and destruction is just people doing it to each other, I'm just here to watch"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-mPlQPpV8M
i had suspected this, never looked at actual jagger quotes, ty.
i've been thinking lately about wh/bh influences in entertainment, sometimes you see wh stuff from obvious bh's like 'the stand'/stephen king, like there's a war within the author's heart. billy corgan is based but he's throwing bh refs into such a beautiful and comforting song- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYSbztCCTlA
This is a great song! I never thought it was satanic more a reflection of a wild life and the vices that possess you. I’m not a huge stones fan but I like a few songs. I prefer old 70s music that has a blues vibe. But heck I love most music. I was listening to Hank Williams Sr today.
OkGo's tribute to the song points this out! Talks about how the devil isn't doing anything at this point, and it's just humanity doing it to each other.

Interesting
Seen the stones 72 thru present day...always a special event
I’ll have to listen to the old stuff. I never hated the stones just wasn’t my favorite. When I listen to music I listen to the entire album. Especially now with vinyl and streaming. I’ve never liked radio. Sometimes I do deep dives into artists I like but don’t know all their music. I’ve always been a music junkie.
Grateful dead does alot is stones covers..dylan too
I’ve never been a Dead fan. Love most of the music from that era but not them. Weird because I’m more like a hippie than anyone else in my family. Free spirit, dress like a beach bum and hippie combined, always barefoot or flip flops except dead of winter wear whole shoes & barefoot in house always.
I still go to shows. Dead and company last summer and a two nite stand of Phish ..billy strings live will blow your mind

The live shows w jerry were awesome...the positive energy flowing from the stage and back made magic happen..seriously
The dead got me traveling..you see folks w signs needing tics for next show. And you go..been to both coasts and everything in between..if your car breaks down..deadheads will stop to help

Oh. Ok. Thanks.
I often have "Israel" by Siouxsie & The Banshees playing in my mind these days.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-TAlS7J9Ofk
When I first saw "Arabian Nights" years ago, I was hooked. Siouxsie...those eyes and that voice. Then she did "Peekaboo" with Budgie and the rest, and I can still hear that funky accordion. 😎
I've been on a Siouxsie kick lately. I was introduced to them via Alternative radio in the early '90s and I know many of their bigger songs, having bought MP3s, but I've never really delved into specific albums. I know Juju is perhaps their most iconic, but I discovered the song Dazzle and fell in love with it. I don't think I ever heard that song before. The entire album Hyaena is fantastic!
Yeah, she's had some good stuff over the years - Arabian Nights, Cities in Dust, The Passenger, Peekaboo - worth a dive if you're into building a collection. She also did Face-to-Face off the Batman Returns soundtrack, pretty cool tune. I don't think they're together anymore, I think she married Budgie but I think they got divorced. Lost track over time, but it's still cool to listen to the old stuff now and then.
I was listening to Juju as a playlist on their official YouTube channel last night. I don't remember hearing "Arabian Nights" on the radio, but definitely "Spellbound." Cities in Dust was on the radio a lot too. I lived in Arizona, and KUKQ1060AM was THE Alternative radio station in the late '80s/early '90s. I didn't really figure music out until the end of '90. I forget the album which "Cities in Dust" comes from, but I found that album at the public library and copied the song for a compilation audio cassette, which I played constantly in my car until it backfired and caught fire after I graduated college in '99. Rooftop isn't around anymore (I imagine she just changed her username and is still here though), but she remembers KUKQ.
Siouxsie married Budgie? That's cool. I had wondered if she had married Severin since he'd been with her since the beginning and wrote songs with her. Hyaena goes for too much money on CD, but I found Juju last night. Actually cheaper here in Japan than on Amazon USA. In the notes for the "Best Of" CD, it says that the band grew in popularity here in Japan before the USA, which I thought was interesting. "The Passenger" is a cover of an Iggy Pop song, and I like both versions. I have to say that "Dear Prudence" is superior to the original Beatles version by far. I played it for my wife, who is a Beatles song.
I downloaded Hyaena as mp3 files and burned it onto CD to listen to in the car. There is a track on there that my wife said sounds like enka music. I can hear its influence. Siouxsie had definitely used Indian influences too. I know two people who traveled to Hong Kong over winter break recently, and it just makes me hum "Hong Kong Garden" in my mind.
Pleasant memories, fren. Thanks, I had forgotten some of the stuff over the years. I do remember naming a cat I had Prudence years ago when I lived in Iowa. Best mouser I ever had :)
Nice name for a cat! That's great. I once had a cat named Agent Cooper.
First verses. Matthew 12:31-2.
Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
Can you explain this verse to me.. like who speaks against the Holy Spirit and how so? I've been thinking about this verse the past few weeks.
I've always understood it to mean that Jesus (and God the father) is very understanding of people's inherent skepticism, and that anyone hearing of Jesus and his deeds who scoffed or otherwise did not believe could be forgiven, the same as how God forgives our actions done of mortal ignorance, but that anyone who receives direct first-hand, personal experience of the Holy Spirit and later denied its holiness or failed to revere God after such experience is a person who willfully turns their heart away from God even after knowing Him, and therefore cannot be forgiven. Similar to Q's use of the word "knowingly."
The Old Testament has a number of examples of people who were overcome or encompassed by the spirit of God at one time or another; most went on to live holy lives and to receive God's favor. King Saul, however, turned away from God even after having felt his spirit, and the spirit left him. In my opinion, Saul was not forgiven because, not only he should've known better but he actually did know better and still turned away.
Likewise, Peter denied knowing Jesus 3 times. But this was forgiven him because his denial sprang from the human frailty of fear. But if he had denied Him after Pentecost, when he received the Holy Spirit and the personal revelation of God's love had been planted in his heart, that sin would not have been forgiven. Saul of Tarsus was likewise forgiven of his many grevious and sinful actions against the followers of Jesus, yet if he had continued to sin after his visitation on the road to Damascus, and he was no longer ignorant, his sins done in knowledge are not forgiven.
This scripture is quite meaningful to me personally, as I used to have an understanding of God based on a combination of faith (trust) and reasoning, but I once was blessed with a visitation by the Holy Spirit, something of a personal Pentecost if you will, or like those in the Old Testament who had moments of being overcome or accompanied by the spirit. The feeling was similar to that described by people who have had heavenly near-death experiences, that of being bathed in light and love. At that point I understood fully the meaning of this passage. Up until that point, any skepticism or faltering in my faith was understandable and forgivable; but after being given the gift of knowledge of God, turning away or denying my own experience would be a paramount sin and not worthy of forgiveness. If I were to say that God does not exist after such an experience, it would be to speak against, to blaspheme, the Holy Ghost.
It sounds like you're suggesting that a believer can lose their salvation. I disagree with that, as Ephesians 4:30 assures us we have been 'sealed for the day of redemption.'
It's an interesting question. I believe God gives us the opportunity to turn away from him, which if we do that, we condemn ourselves. It might depend on varying translations, but I read 4:30 as being conditioned on faithfully converting, as specified earlier in the chapter's verses 4:14, 17 and 21, which involve abandoning old ways and abstaining from evil ways and thoughts.
And then we have other verses such as Luke 9:62- "And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God" that imply a person can learn the truth and yet knowingly abandon it, disqualifying themselves.
In a way it's academic: the question is only relevant for those who believe in Jesus the Christ and who then knowingly do wrong. Hopefully that doesn't apply to either of us, and I will appeal to His mercy should I falter from weakness. At any rate, that's how I read it.
Thanks for the further discussion. I agree that there are passages that 'seemingly' suggest that. However, my belief is that God's promise is far superior than our human promises and it does not falter. Even after we become believers, we are still imperfect, still sinners. Though we strive to live outside the shackles of sin, we are still frail, imperfect humans and do "miss the mark" (the actual translation of the Greek word 'sin' used in the New Testament.) So yes, we miss the bullseye because we are indeed imperfect.
However, God's promises to us are unfailing. So even when we fail, even when we falter and turn away from the faith, the promise that He made to us doesn't change. We are secure in His faithfulness to us. I am very grateful for that.
Good discussions are not for winning or losing a dispute, but rather to help the participants uncover the truth themselves by exploring new perspectives, with the opportunity to further open the mind and the heart. Agreement on the conclusion is not needed to benefit from and enjoy the discussion. And it's healthy to challenge one's ideas, especially when the challenge comes from good faith. The Bible is a source of study that is inexhaustible, and deserves frequent visits. I'll continue to turn it over in my heart. Thank you.
I agree, and civil discussions have been limited in our country (that is, if you're in the USA - but even in other countries) in recent years. I enjoy them. As you said, the bible is a source of study that is inexhaustible. I never pretend to have all the answers, only to know the One who does. I find peace in knowing of God's faithfulness to me, even if I fail in my faithfulness to me. Willfulness, weakness, stubborn stupidity - all of these I have exhibited at times and regretted. God's patience with me has been infinite. Blessings to you, fren.
Thank you so much for this explanation. It really helps me understand better.
God bless you.
I disagree with that as it sounds like the anon thinks believers can lose their salvation. Ephesians 4:30 assures us we have been 'sealed for the day of redemption.'
Basically, it’s referring to anybody who does not accept Jesus Christ is their Lord and Savior. Blaspheming, the Holy Spirit is denying Christ.
