No improvements to talk about. This dog can be a little hard to read. Shes lazy,so sleeping all day really isnt out of the norm for her. Shes never sucked a water bowl dry.its actually kinda rare to see or hear her drinking. But food is a different story. She will pass up dog food but she has never passed up any human foods. The vet told me when she starts sleeping all the time, stops eating or drinking, the end is near.
She did finally eat yesterday. On mondays,my wife brings her home some meatballs and other trimmings from work. So when my wife came home, she was expecting meatballs (she knows when meatball day is). My wife said she was jumping and hopping around waiting for meat balls. She told her there werent any and she snorted at my wife and ran in the room and ate the food i gave her.
The bad breath seems to be a come and go thing. It hasnt been the rancid make you want to puke smell. More of a lingering fart smell.you kinda gotta be right next to her to smell it.the rancid smell could be smelled across the room.
The drooling and licking isnt as bad as it was
FOR THE WHACKOS WHO FEEL THEY NEED TO MESSAGE ME SAYING IM POISONING AND KILLING MY DOG. i discussed this with my vet. It is safe. I can double what im giving her if i want too. The vet gave me the fenben.if it wasnt safe,i doubt he woulda gave me the stuff and id doubt you could walk into tractor supply and buy it off the shelf without a prescription. Dont waste your time messaging me,im just gonna block and ignore you.
Rest assured that Fenbendazole is one of the safest drugs on the market dear fren. Everyone of those million dollar horses that run in the Kentucky derby use it regularly. Hang in there.
I had horses most of my life. My last one died at the beginning of the plandemic. But we used ivermectin. I know how sensitive thier systems are.
Someone mentioned recently that we should take pig ivm over horse IVM if we aren’t taking the human ivm, you happen to know anything about that?
As far as the “you’re killing your dog!” just remember there are trolls and fedbois on here too, and they both relish misery. Just do more research if you doubt (but you’re probably on the best path).
I dont know anything about the different forms of ivermectin. But im sure somebody here does.
I dont give a shit what the trolls got to say. I done a lot of reading on the subject before i asked my vet about it. Wich is why i started it late. If i had started a month or so ago when the face lump just started,we might have different results right now. All i can do right now is sit here and worry and wait to see what happens.
Wishing you and your doggo the best!
Been taking Ivermectin since COVID started, the horse paste for my wife and I. This stuff is miraculous. The FIRST time you take it (we've been on it for ~3 yrs) your tummy may feel like you may have to go to the bathroom about 20 minutes after taking it. That goes away after about 10 minutes. When you use the bathroom, clean up and don't look - you cannot unsee some things. Every creature on the planet gets parasites, dogs, cats, birds, fish - and for some reason humans are never given anti-parasitic drugs. Odds are ~100% you have them too. After a dose, you won't. A tube of horse paste (1.67% Ivermectin treats 1,200 lbs and costs ~$10. Get the stuff that is ONLY Ivermectin. The amount you take is about the same as the amount you put on a toothbrush. It's not horrible tasting. One dose every 2-3 weeks is all it takes. Strong recommend.
My understanding is that all of it is the same molecule. I could be wrong, but at one point I did a pretty deep dive on all of this.
And as is discussed in this thread, it seems to me it is pretty darned difficult to OD on ivermectin, and possibly "impossible".
What the medicaltrollwizards will point to as 'It made them very seriously ill" is called Herxheimer effect. The die off and the toxins released because the drug is actually working. That can be managed by correct initial dosing if a 1st time
Yes the evacuation/die off is pretty dramatic.
My father was an "Ole country Vet" and I was there, watching him trying to save an animal with tears in my eyes. Whatever the outcome will be for your pet, please realize that you are doing the best you can for your animal. I understand the heart break you are going through. Your precious love will let you know when it is time and please rest knowing you did everything you possibly could do. Meanwhile, continue doing what you are doing, feed your dog whatever he will eat, of course. within reason, Steak, chicken. There also a appetite stimulating liquid, you can get it from your vet, also, ask if you can give your dog fluids under the skin to keep him from getting dehydrated. You have nothing to lose at this point.
Sounds like she is doing better. So happy for you. Yes, hang in there!
We took in a stray juvenile shepherd mix that had been running the streets for a couple weeks. First day we got him, took him to the vet for a check up and to address flea/skin issues. He tested positive for heart worms. He had no obvious collie features (allergic to ivermectin), so we started praying and put him on a nightly ivermectin dose. A week later we took him to get neutered and reran the test. It was now negative! Praise God! We had a third test done with the original vet done later on that also came back negative.
I know this doesn’t necessarily relate apples to apples to your situation. But, just letting you know there’s hope. I definitely believe the powers that be has been hiding a lot of medical knowledge from us.
Ive said it a few times but ill say it again. After all the years and dollars spent on cancer research, the best they could come up with is to poison you almost to death with radiation? I call bullshit. A cure might make them milli9ns but keeping you sick and dependant on thier "medicines"makes them billions.
indeed.
spot on statement. I'm so glad your dog is getting better. My brother in law was saved from stage 4 small cell lung cancer with fenbendazole.
All of these medical regulatory groups need investigating. I read yesterday that the American Diabetes Association started in 1939. In 1980 there were 5.5 million with diabetes. In 2022, that number is 24.4 million. Their mission statement is:
To prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.
After 70 years this is their track record? The same is true for the American cancer fund. Plus, they have taken in billions.
If any other group failed this badly, it would be shut down.
Spot on comment. Those bullshit “Associations” are just giant fucking GRIFTS.
Everything is working exactly as it was intended.
100% Exactly correct!
You and your shepherd mix are fortunate, I'm so happy that it worked for him.
Though an allergic reaction can happen to other breeds besides collies, shepherds are one of them, however it sounds like your pup didn't have the gene in him that would have triggered the allergic reaction.
These breeds are:
Old English Sheepdog
English Shepherd
Shetland Sheepdog
Bearded Collies
Australian Shepherd
German Shepherd
Certain Whippets
Silken Windhound
Skye Terrier
Border Collie
Collie
Miniature American Shepherd

I had a dog that we didn't know had a small % of collie in her had severe reactions, came on fast and almost lost her. This is why I dna test our dogs now, thankfully our dogs now don't have any of the breeds in them that can cause this reaction.

Keep the faith, stay the course, imho. Don't underestimate the Herxheimer reaction due to die-off. Ignore the smell. Homemade chicken and rice soup. Or turkey. With the fat and skin. Shadilay.
The trolls are out and tried in on w/me and my sick mom! Won’t work! We have the Lord Almighty on our side!
Keep up the good work. Don’t give up! Even if You have to manually hydrate her for a few gays with a syringe. You’ll know when it’s time 🙏 going up!
Goodness gracious... I'm sorry that someone would send you a cruel message also! Still praying for your Mom! 🙏
Apparently the vested 'Health Care Establishment' has a lot of trolls doing their bidding, and of course the run of the mill morons are always available. There are those that seem to take a real interest in shutting down or diverting comments away from the massively positive track record of these very cheap, readily available miracle drugs. How come?
Please get your doggo some meatballs
I was thinking the same thing. Please don't stop bringing meatballs!!
BRO … I have had pets on deaths door. If your dog was JUMPING and hopping around … your girl is far from death. Also, go get some meat balls. If she is willing to scarf down some meatballs during the fenbend treatments … go get meatballs. Lots of them.
I have been following your saga, and I swore I wouldn't inject my ‘two cents’, but I have to offer a solution to the gum infection issue. I had a rabbit that had SORT OF the same thing. Yeah, dogs are not rabbits. I got it. That being said, my buddy who had the same issue once told me to squeeze a bunch of Ivermectin Paste on a Q-Tip and gently massage it on the infected area. One day … in ONE DAY the infection swelling and redness was gone. Three days the site was healing awesome. Completely gone after 10 days.
I know a lot of people think Ivermectin is a cure all. It is not. But for infections in animals … holy shit does it work amazingly well.
yes yes yes on the iver straight on the sores - humans too! It is amazing. I have used it on and in my dogs for years. For various things. For this it should def help even just a pea sized finger blob to the roof of her mouth. rub another pea size on the cheek lump. twice a day. along with fenben
I'm sorry to hear you're getting harassed by idiots, 94.
Thank you again for posting these updates. I can't imagine how difficult this is for you right now. I've lost a lot of dogs over the years and they all still hurt. Hopefully you got to your girl soon enough with the fenben. Still early yet with the treatment, hopefully a week from now we're having a very different conversation.
I may be too late with it but sometimes its better late than never. Im hoping this is one of those cases.
Praying for this outcome myself. Give them hugs from all of us!
Me too. Give that good girl a belly rub from me when she starts to feel better.
Wish I knew then, what I know now. We have had several dogs die of cancer, probably d/t the vaccine routine and dog food. I also had a mother die from c-difficile after antibiotics given for pneumonia post throat cancer surgery and chemo. I was an ignorant nurse back in 2007. I learned several things since: no vaccines ever again, no chemo or surgery-try fenben and ivermectin, large dose vitamin C, curcumin, vitamin D, vitamin E and research, never be an organ donor, refuse blood until they clean it up, never put a loved one in hospice or a nursing home, don’t trust doctors to know anything (they are guided by medical schools, Big Pharma, the Rockefellers who control what doctors are taught), don’t trust your water or food to be safe, try and be healthy and avoid doctors and hospitals and have an advocate in the hospital with you-ask every pill, injection given because most nurses won’t think about what you are given and medication errors are the biggest cause of hospital deaths.
Look into the BARF diet. Bones and raw food. I’ve fed this diet to my dogs for the last 30 years. They don’t get ear infections, skin infections etc. when feeding bones only raw bones. No chicken bones!! Just raw beef, deer bones etc. no cooked bones they splinter. We adopted an older dog and feed Honest Kitchen with a fist size helping of raw turkey and whatever veg we had the night before chopped up finely. No cooked bones they splinter. When I was younger I used to feed a raw chicken breast bones and all, veg’s some fruit every day. I’ll give applesauce or pumpkin if on a NSAD for arthritis. So, I just wanted to share my experiences.
As long as she is still eating I say keep trying. Screw those trolls, you are doing the best thing you can. Praying for her and you every day.
If she remembered it was meatball night and she ended up eating her food, I'd take that as a positive sign. I'd say keep doing what you are doing. She will tell you if it's her time or not.
So happy she was feeling better enough to do her meatball happy dance! I was picturing it in my head with a big smile on my face as I read your post, lol. Give her a hug from all of us here, we are routing for her!
Same here. My sister has a 14 year old beagle who is so smart and he does the happy dance too. Praying for you and your girl OP and thanks for the updates.
My old girl passed away at 13 yrs old, not bad for a great dane, even though she was only 50% dane, she was average height and weight for a dane. She was losing function in her back legs, we believe one of her back legs was numb, she still had love of life but her quality of life was not going to have been there much longer. We let her go about 2 yrs ago.
Thanks for posting these updates! We're cheering for your pup over here
I really want to bring your dog some meatballs. More prayers sent.
She will be getting some.we gotta go shopping tomorrow to make dog food. Shes only getting meats now. Work MBs have bread crumbs and spices.
❤️🙏
I was so depressed when I read day 3, that I couldn't bear to read the day 4 report. I guess I am a bad person, because I have more compassion for pets, than I do most people. People have choices, our beloved pets; truly gifts from God that we are unworthy of receiving, have few, if any choices at all. And the one choice they do have, is unconditional love. I am so happy to hear he's doing this well; I pray he continues to respond.
Prayers continuing for your precious fur baby! Thank you for the continued updates.
My neighbor took FenBen for pancreatic cancer. When he died of a stroke and brain bleed his cancer was not on the death certificate.
The vax at work.
OMG, people are messaging you about YOUR dog? Before they do that they should research fenben and look up the toxicity limits. Wow.
Thank you for the update.
Thanks for the update. I'm sure its hard to go through this but should the worse happen, you know you tried your best. Sounds like you're getting some positive indications and that is encouraging. We are all with you and your furry fren. Cancer is a beast and you have to fight it one day at a time. Bless you!
My options were to sit here and watch her slowly die or try something that may or may not work while i sit here and watch her die. My vet said it wont hurt to try so i opted for the try something while i watch her die. If it doesnt work, atleast i tried something. If it does work i might get another year or 2 with her. Other than this, shes perfectly healthy.
I hope you stick with it. I certainly would have if I'd known Baxter had liver cancer. And come on people DMing OP!! Don't you see that little message when you DM someone saying that this isn't a board for that?? As if OP isn't going through enough already, shame on you!! Hang in there! Many are rooting for you!
Im gonna stick with till the day i have to put her down. Hopefully that day wont come for another year or 2. Poor thing hasnt even hit the retired old dog that cant get on the couch stage yet.
You are doing the right thing and what is best for your precious fur baby. Can't believe someone would send you such a cruel message! Praying for you all fren...🙏
I believe it.
" JscholI17 sent 21 hours ago You poisoned an innocent dog. Abusing animals is a sign of mental illness. I've reported you to the authorities."
Hopefully a mod sees it and bans thier ass.
I dont give a fuck what they got to say. My vet said its safe and wont hurt to try. I have 1 of the best vets in the area. I trust what he says 200%.
Oh my goodness!! Unbelievable! What goes through these people's minds!?!
I Totally agree with your protocol and I only wish that I'd had this knowledge for all of my loved ones. Two and Four legged.
Blessings fren! 🙏
Bless you for loving and caring for your dog! A big fat F U to the idiots accusing you of anything else!! You are an incredible human with a heart of gold and I LOVE how much you LOVE your pup! Praying for healing and sending you much love! Can’t wait to hear about the meatballs tomorrow, THANK YOU for taking the time to keep those of us who care about your journey in the loop!! God bless you!
Like my momma used to say “Nothing beats a failure like a try”. I think that fits this situation. Prayers for you! ❤️
Maybe, but also maybe not.
Animals in the wild that are sick will seek shelter and just hide out, not eating, just resting, until their body heals.
When they are sick, they will fast and rest. The only question is: Is it too late, or is the rest going to provide the recovery? AFAIK, that is an unknown.
I wouldn't worry about the lack of water, either. Humans can go much longer than that bullshit on the "survival" TV shows claim. Bears hybernate and have zero water for weeks or months.
A dog that needs rest, needs rest.
Have the food and water available, but don't force it.
If it is too late, it is too late.
But if the rest does heal, she will show signs of life soon enough.
Sorry that you are having to deal with idiots on top of everything else. I continue to appreciate the time you take to share this with us.
Fenben and ivermectin are perfectly safe except i think collies can’t metabolize iver. Iirc
Those same wackos would undoubtedly say that I am the wacko for recommending this stuff to you, etc. Shrug. IANAD, but neither are they.
Anyway, seems like decent "progress" in the sense that appetite has returned and she's not getting visibly worse. I thought last night that a liquid way of getting nutrition into her was to make beef/chicken/lamb broth for her, and/or possibly milk/cream. Milk can have a lot of sugar in it and cancer eats sugar, so be careful with that for now, and go with the broth, I think.
Fvck any Karen's telling you that shit. They should mind their own damn business and maybe their kids wouldn't all be loser liberals. Praying for your sweet doggie. 🙏🙏🙏
You are absolutely right about the fenben. Those people who criticize you will be the ones who will submit to surgery and chemo and refuse to try ivermectin and fenben even with stage IV cancer. What do you have to lose. They need to read more, instead of posh, pooling everything. Seems like your baby is at least status quo. I pray she recovers friend.
Pretty sure you can buy FenBen and IVM at Tractor Supply without a prescription. You can order it from valleyvet for sure, this I know.
But yes, it's safe and effective (unlike the Fauci ouchie).
The reason she does not like dog food is that us probably the problem. Look for BHA or BHP listed as preservative. That stuff is bad news. Don't take my word for it, do some research and you will never buy anything with that in it again. This stuff causes dogs to be misdiagnosed with cancer or palsy or rheumatoid arthritis and more. I took my dog off of it and gave nothing but scrambled eggs for three days. The turnaround was fantastic. I now buy tuna, sardines and rotisserie chicken once a week or so. O pick the chicken off the bone and put enough for two meals in a several baggies and freeze what I do not need ommediately.
still hoping for the best results for you. there are two types of trolls, those that do it to bring a laugh, and those that do it to break spirits. ignore the latter, and laugh with the former. you got this.
If anything the sickness is busy fighting off fenben instead of doggo. It’s gotta help.
Hey brother, thank you for the updates you post I've read everyone. If I have missed this in the comments I'm sorry but can you publish what dosing regiment you're giving your sweet pup incase I ever have to use it?
https://www.prairiedoghall.com/curing-my-dogs-cancer/
Wonder what a good dosage and frequency would be for a 10 year old dog as a preventative
Food is the key. Don't feed your doggo processed food. Proper meat for the dog!
