Then the request morphed from ‘secure critical infrastructure’. To in essence a full on Colonial Occupation. Once it became clear things were deteriorating even further.

I can't see what legitimare interest the US could possibly have in Haiti. Money laundering through 'humanitarian aid" is the only reason I can figure for any American presence there at all.

My theory on Haiti is this: Haiti was the only black colony that managed to legitimately emancipate itself from white rule. The deeply racist deep state was pissed off about this, and has been attacking Haiti in all possible ways ever since. This includes earthquakes, stealing children, pushing voodoo, etc.
So since Haiti can't solve its own problems ... ever ... likely going to see the US install a weak puppet leader in an isolated embassy to they don't get killed immediately. Then this puppet leader will rule poorly because nobody trusts them and of course ask for money and aid which the US will gladly supply.
Then this weak leader will fade into obscurity and all the money and aid will start to go missing and then the media will be talking about it again in a few years how dire everything is in Haiti.

He tried to fly into Dominican Republic but was not cleared and ended up landing in Puerto Rico. Don’t be gullible.
