Rush Limbaugh repeatedly stated that we would not get rid of abortion until we change the hearts of the American people. The election that legalized abortion and put it in the Ohio Constitution last year is an example, although I feel Dominion played a role in the outcome of that election.

Nothing is going to go in our favor until we fix the elections. No more mail-in ballots, no more absentee excuses. If you're not well enough to make it to the poll, then you're not well enough to vote. Mandatory ID and fingerprinting. We shouldn't even print them out because of how time delayed ink can screw up people's votes. We need to have people write them out themselves. Voting should be done the correct way, in public. Everyone should be held accountable for how they vote, and that should be publically accessible. This will prevent any election from every being stolen and let we the people take back control.

Quite simply, majority of Americans support abortion one way or another. Almost every Democrat does and many Republicans do to some extent. I would say the majority of independents support it as well, at least not a total ban.

Some people want to ban it outright without cases for rape and incest, and for some, even to save the mother’s life. I personally don’t agree with this because I don’t think that anyone should be forced to go through with a pregnancy forced upon them, or one that has a high likelihood of killing them.

Talk about total abortion bans does not draw the wide range of support many think it does. At this point you’re just reaffirming the views of hardline Republicans and alienating anyone who doesn’t agree.

Total abortion bans won’t be accepted until people recognize the humanity of the baby in the womb. The Bible clearly says that this is a creation by God in his own image. Too many people have gotten too distant from God to think that there are circumstances where it’s OK to kill a baby in the womb. Some older and even ancient cultures were more humane on abortion than we are today. The original Hippocratic Oath had doctors swear that they would never perform an abortion.

BLC....For a Saturday...YOU have typed a handful and that is EXACTLY what people are missing here...

One side has the Christian side of Bear the Child and the other side, murder a child for any reason...

The Republican Party MUST ASSUME the mantle of Life and let the dems wallow in their delusions that one can have an abortion at anytime...

I get your point, but the point I started this thread with is that the American people need a serious change of heart before a there are laws that truly respect the sanctity of life.

There’s never a time where the baby can’t be removed humanely to help save the mother. Murdering the unborn human is NOT the answer.

Well, they also chose a weak time to put it on the ballot when it was really the only issue. Very low voter turnout.

Most abortions aren't for financial reasons, that ends up just being an excuse to justify it.

Most are just from excessive promiscuity from people who had no intention to have children anyway.

Upwards of 95% of all abortions are used as a form of birth control. It is straight up murder. It is the harvesting of our most innocent souls for illicit purposes. Pure fucking evil.

And it is pushed by the rats for the purpose of eugenics and organ and stem cell harvesting. You dont think those octogenarians in government show up to work every day without thier dosing of stem cells when the greater bulk of those in their 80s have myriad health problems that keep them mostly shut in thier homes?

I have a friend lives in Ohio - told me the option was the extreme abortion law or no abortion at all, and "to protect her daughter" voted for it even though she doesn't agree with how far it goes. I'm not clear on how it came about but my impression was the GOP allowed extremist to write the law and put it on the ballot rather than write a moderate law themselves.

I also feel exceptions are necessary. I personally never considered an abortion. For any reason. But I haven't stood in everyone else's shoes. If I had gotten pregnant from rape or incest, I don't think I would have wanted to end the pregnancy, but that never happened to me. Some women may not emotionally or mentally be capable of dealing with carrying the child of their torturer or abuser. That is so not my place to judge. Life of mother is another exception I believe exists as well.

Trump's policy chops are truly underrated. He's landed the most divisive issue on the ballot in the least divisive place possible.

IMO he's signaling to us that this is the place to set trenches and dig in. Be wary of people urging us to legislate abortion at the national level where it can split the country again. Fight at the state level and create constitution-changing quality of consensus first.

There will be some states, that have pure and honest elections 🙄, that will now go full on butcher mode on children. When do people of any state get what they want? Until elections are secured in America, sending this back to the states was still in the categories of “worst things that can happen”. Of course people wanted this. So they can pass the most pro murdering of children laws they can. And anyone and everyone can just travel to that state and cheer on death. Great!

When do people, of any nation, get to decide when to kill a child? Shouldn’t even be discussed. Abortion shouldn’t exist. It’s just another term for murder. So let’s vote when we can murder children. Sounds like a God fearing nation to me. /sar

It’s not a win. When murder isn’t an option for children, then it’ll be a win. Until then. Kick the can. Job is not done. Stepping stone perhaps. But anyone who see this a win, clearly is fighting over scraps. People don’t get to decide when to kill a child. Period.

Last year before last, California tried to pass a law saying that if babies die of any reason within 30 days of birth, it is illegal to investigate or prosecute. This brought huge outrage, so it didn't pass: https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/billTextClient.xhtml?bill_id=202120220AB1666 Article summarizing it: https://californiaglobe.com/articles/infanticide-or-pregnancy-loss-abortion-bill-passes-assembly-judiciary-committee/

Last year, California watered the bill down so that if the baby's death was due to mother's negligence and the baby died only within 7 days, then the mother couldn't be prosecuted. This one passed. So yes, infanticide is legal in California as long as it is within 7 days of the baby's birth: https://www.skywatchtv.com/2022/06/12/california-infanticide-bill/

Edit to add: This bill was marketed as a bill to protect abortion rights and most people didn't look into the details. I don't think it would have passed if more people understood the details.

Thank you for sharing this! This makes me feel a little better about my state. I was very upset when I found out the bill had passed and didn't know the loophole had been closed.

Meanwhile, in my opinion, God used the original version of this bill (where investigating a baby's death was illegal if the baby was 30 days old or younger) to expose who is evil. I believe that all the people who came out in favor of the original version of the bill have outed themselves as satanists.

most people who have abortions, use it as a form of "birth control". they have NO intent on parenting the child, with or without money or help from the daddy government.

they just want to have wild, unprotected sex while often being under the influence of one or multiple drinks or drugs.

very, very few abortions are a result of rape or incest. those are understandable, especially for underage victims.

for adults, i believe prison terms should start being introduced for taking the life of the unborn. both for the consenting adult(s) AND the doctors.

With all due respect to President Trump, throwing the issue of responsibility onto the states is just passing the problem on to someone else.

It doesn't matter which state a person is in, abortion is murder. It doesn't make it ok just because a state voted that it was legal.

What good does it do to make abortion illegal in one state, but not others, so all anyone needs to do to get an abortion is to just go to the nearest state that allows abortion?

When some blue state passes some evil law saying abortions can be had until the 8th month, is that going to stop anyone who is against abortion from raising hell about it? Or are they going to respect states' rights and agree that each state has the right to deal with abortion as they see fit?

Throwing the responsibility on to the states is just a way to kick the can down the street and try to avoid any criticism from either side.

I'm not sure most people want it at the State level. Democrats want the license to kill nationwide and the pro-life crowd wants to protect the unborn regardless what State they live in.
