He dragged in what looks like a ten foot step ladder and no one saw a thing

That is a 600 dollar ladder at Home Depot or Lowes, more at a hardware store. It weighs about 50 to 60 pounds. It is awkward and bulky, hard to carry. It will not fit on or in any car or mini van. You would need a truck with a rack to transport it, tied down with ratchet straps.
Source? Me, I am a contractor.
Not a contractor, but I own a type III Werner fiberglass ladder and can concur.

If it really is a werner 10 foot ladder it's only $250 and it weighs 39 pounds
The photo doesn't show the full ladder, but it appears to have 9 rungs like a 10' ladder. So where did it come from? Did the shooter park in the lot behind the building with all the LEO or did he carry it from somewhere? Or was it left there? What was he driving, I believe reports said "car" and not "truck". I'd like to see how he transported a 10' ladder in a car.
Apparently he walked a mile with it lol, I'm not going to bother getting bogged down questioning that, that will just muddy the waters.
Ok, so the official story is he carried the ladder and rifle, I don't have a hard time believing that and I think questioning it isn't a good strategy to get to the bottom of this and be taken seriously anyway.
What I do have a hard time believing is that no one stopped him.
Well, they are germane to the entire discussion. Seeing a guy carrying a rifle and ladder to a political rally should raise a lot of questions. I've seen photos saying he arrived via bicycle, as well as reports of a car. All those questions lead to the notion that the ladder was prepositioned. The bigger question is who was involved in the plot. This obviously wasn't a lone gunman.
Yep. We have one. Very heavy and awkward to move. Takes 2 people…minimum. Had it delivered bc we don’t own a vehicle big enough to transport it.
You can hang a 12' ladder out of a 7' pickup bed ----- 5' will hang out
One person can stand it up if you know what you are doing.
You shove the base where the wall meets the the ground and walk it up. Then move the base out away from the building. Pull the rope for the extension if needed. Have done it myself.
It's not that type of ladder. It's an A Frame ladder, no extension. It looks like it is a 10' ladder from pic, but could be 12', can't see bottom. If it's 10', not really a big deal. A 12' ladder is very cumbersome. Not just to carry, but to drive and deliver
Extension ladders are even heavier ---- they are essentially 2 ladders.
Well, THAT’s not accurate. If you have any kind of normal strength, you can carry this on your own. Ask me how I know.
Yeah idk what they're on about, this is ridiculous, I move a ladder like this all the time, what's surprising is that security didn't stop him.
Also they're not $600, and even if they were who cares, the kid knew he was going to die and probably had a credit card, it could've been $1000
Could have been his dad’s, he could have had it for years, he could have stolen it. All possibilities although we know it was set up for him.
That doesn't weigh shit. I move a 24' extension ladder myself on the regular. It doesn't cost $600 either, as LTL said.
Agree. Can hardly believe this talk about weight and cost of ladders.
The shooter drove a full size van. He could have carried enough ladder.
But he may have had “ladder assist” and didn’t need to being one.
USSS probably delivered it for him and set it up on the building. They did all they could do to help him out!
Those ladders are heavy AF. We did 4-person carries in the 🔥 academy
at least 12' ----- rungs are a foot apart
Judging by the building ribs it's 12' high.
The secret service provides it to him and set it up for him.
He kept coming back down for snacks will be the next head line.
For Pepsi 😒
Ouch!!!
Now that's funny!
Nah: bud light.
Howls. That's right.
I just posted about this. He drove the ladder in his Hyundai Sonota according to CNN article. https://www.cnn.com/2024/07/15/us/thomas-crooks-trump-rally-shooting-invs/index.html
Tell me how you fit that ladder into a tiny lil Sonota with the trunk occupied with an IED?
Dumb lefties will not question this. Those of us who get up every morning and work to survive this insane world and have blue collar spouses who work with such equipment will know immediately that is bunk.
The article says he bought 5' ladder. It is not that ladder. So who supplied this ladder.
CNN says he bought a 5 foot ladder.
Also, the photos allegedly of his vehicle were of a cargo van.
out of all of the things to question about this shooting, transport of the ladder is stupid.
The real question is how did he get it set up without security noticing.
We don’t even know if that’s the ladder he bought or if it was set up after the assassination attempt for a photo op. Who knows if he even bought a ladder. I don’t believe anything the SS says.
I can see the trees were good cover once he got the ladder in place, but how do you get the ladder in place without someone noticing and stopping you?
Someone made a viral video on youtube, an experiment, basically if you carry a ladder you can walk into almost any establishment no questions asked, most people assume you’re some repair/maintenance guy.
but that’s still not a good excuse for protecting the most important human being on Earth right now.
SS is supposed to be paranoid about any/every possible threat.
They had ONE job.
edit: I just remembered, at my work, whenever there is a repair/maintenance guy he always needs to check with us before he does any work, we have to call over a manager and they confirm his identity and what he's there to do.
The ladder might get you a little ways in,
But the rifle would probably be a deal breaker
lol ya
Not just a ladder. If you look like a service tech, maybe carry a tool bag or a meter, no one will question you. I spent many years doing telco work and would often go into restricted spaces to complete work. No one ever questioned what I was doing.
Yeah, even just carry a clipboard and you look like your doing something. (That was our trick in the military when we didn't feel like working, just walk around with a clipboard and a pen and nobody is asking why you are just wandering around the halls)
haha!
Were you ever in or around security like USSS or similar? I wonder if this is a blind spot for them….. God I hope not…. 🙄🫤😑😐
Hey is that kid carrying a ladder? I couldn’t see what he had. My view was obstructed by his rifle. Did someone say something about free donuts?
Those are 20’ arborvitae covering an inlet. A sniper’s paradise.
Premeditation
Damn that’s an excellent and critical point nobody is talking about. This kid had to have done major reconnaissance, scouting, planning and preparation.
He didn’t just go to Home Depot, grab a ladder, grab 50 rounds of ammo and then truck over to the area hoping to find a location. He had that picked out in advance. Or somebody Told/showed him where to go.
CBS reported this.
Officers believe that Crooks might have used an air conditioning unit to get on top of the roof.
Have to figure out when that ladder pic was taken...... because cops climbed up on the roof after the shooting. Could be their ladder
Good point.
That’s no five-foot ladder, which is what CNN claims he bought. What I see in the photo looks twice that length. Anybody go to the stores and verify that Crook bought any ladders at all? And what about the 50 rounds of ammo? Obviously it wasn’t all used. Receipts, anyone?
Media and law enforcement of every variety are leaking out details that muddy the water, yet hardly anyone receiving it verifies before trusting. No shoe-leather journalism habbening, and what you might find with your fingertips looks like it was scrubbed off the interweb before last Saturday night..
I feel psyopped by the players involved—each side for its own reasons. At this point I am more curious than pissed off about information and how it changes as it flows.
My heart hurts for innocent victim-heroes like Corey, who died doing the right thing. We may be watching a movie, but it feels like a guy a couple rows closer to the front just got thrown out of the theater for no good reason.
From what I have heard, there were local cops that were supposed to be posted up on that building but went inside the building at some point.... so I suspect it was their ladder.
This would also help to explain why the USS snipers didn't immediately open fire on him, they thought friendlies were supposed to be up there and were caught off guard when the shooter was up there.
Still begs the question, were they in on it... was it just a perfect opportunity for the shooter or did the cops help set it up? How did the shooter know the ladder would be there and the roof top would be open for him to use??? Was his plan to use the roof or did the opportunity just appear? How did he know there wouldn't be cops up there?
That's why they have radio contact. 2 minutes to clear it up is about 1:55 more than it would take to verify.
Soooo, CNN claims a 5-foot ladder, which would only have 6 rungs. Ladder in the pic looks more like a 10-footer with at least 10 rungs (very unweildy as LongTimeListener points out).
Does not appear a 5-foot would get you to the roof.
YES! The ladder also! Dragging a ladder and a rifle by. Sniper shoots him with a fucking camera then goes inside the building he climbs on to.
PA, is the keystone state I guess.
Ok in the article - "Crooks also had a detonator on his person and explosives attached to a receiver in his vehicle’s trunk."
If he bought the ladder and had a trunk - How is he going to carry the ladder? Boy that wouldn't be sus???
Can be done - But very awkward to carry a large step ladder with a car????
There are a lot of logistical questions that point to a much larger inside or more elaborate job...How did a 20 yr old kid case this joint in such a tactical way to get that close to Trump?
The shooter was just a pawn. Brainwashed kid who was trash to them…….
There are some reports by attendees that they thought some shots came from the water tower where they believe there was a second shooter.
Thank you for posting. Been one of my bigger questions about this deal.
I'm not sure I believe that story. I think the ladder was already there.
Holes upon holes upon holes in this story.
Today is 72 hrs post the shooting. I expect to see and read a lot more of these kind of details. As mentioned if anyone has a ladder this big especially tied to a small Hyundai its alsomst comical to think this actually happened all on that morning.
I have a 10 ft ladder & a 24ft extension ladder and a truck and it needs to be tied down. He pulls in that morning and no one noticed was SS sleeping or helping?
What car was he driving, that’s the smoking gun
The conspirators who planned the assassination must be victims of the dumbing down of America when it comes to the coverup.
And so, the MSM narrative continues…
Most metal buildings of this sort are 8' at the lowest corner. I can handle a ladder like that one handed . I am 5'7" 180 . I don't know why you guys are talking about this shite but now you know . The real sniper was behind that retard
I have looked at that building on street view, and it is not an eight footer. A count of the ladder rungs is more than eight feet.
I won't argue there may have been a second shooter, and the kid was just a patsy, but even the patsy shouldn't have cleared security to climb on the building.
It was allowed to happen and that building is 8 feet at the corner
He kept it hidden under his chin.
I have thrown up many, many ladders on the fire scene by myself and other times with help. This guy could not have put up a Little Giant ladder, let alone the one pictured.
I read that was the ladder the secret service and LEO’s utilized to get on the roof after the shooting, I read the shooter used a different ladder to get up.
Just some X reading though, no legit source
Could it have been placed there way earlier? Could it be that someone planted that and the gun there, hidden in the bushes? Would make him seem much less suspicious. That business has to have security cams you would think right?
Last time I checked, 5.56 ammo came in boxes of 20. How does one end up with 50 rounds?
When will we get some common sense ladder control?!?!
Maybe it was inside that building already?
Don’t you love how they’re using the youngest pictures they can find of him? 🙄
Yep, it is Trayvon II.
Vey close friend of mine owns a Hyundai sonata. That ladder pictured in GWP article is literally almost as long as - if not longer than - a Hyundai sonata.
Come on guys….has no one caught this.???
But... Someone did see and say something
Those shrubs sure are a perfect hiding options.
I wonder how long those have been up?!
According to reports, this building was a staging area for the Sec ert Service, so they just leave all their shit unguarded? Fuckery abounds!
