As much as they appear to want to put Trump in jail and get our side fired up beyond all reason, I don’t think they truly want that smoke. It won’t matter in the end though, because regardless of what they pull, NCSWIC.
It would be a circus for sure even if they tried to confine him to home. Either way it would draw so much news and flak that it would be impossible for anyone to ignore what's going on.
Plus what more would it take besides getting shot and being jailed to make him the ultimate underdog? They may as well just swear him in at the sentencing.
Completely agree. This is just theater. The timing of the announcement seems somewhat notable with all the other things going on today and the coming days.
There was a theory going around back around April/May that Trump HAS to be in jail while everything really kicks off, when the Storm is truly hitting. War, stock market tanking, internal Democratic party fighting being public, jailing politicians, etc, it all has to go down while Trump is insulated and absolutely cannot be blamed for anything.

If they follow through and put Trump in prison during an election year then it will be akin to a prison term for jay-walking. Talk about a strong response! That will never fly. Is that their plan? That is, to cause us to become street protesting terrorists?
If so, they are dead wrong. There aren't 100s of thousands of sealed indictments sitting there for no reason! They are a counter move awaiting a reason to un-seal.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but don’t you have to wait until sentencing to appeal? So once the sentencing occurs, couldn’t he send this right back to SCOTUS to overturn the ruling?
I’m not sure but he was found guilty (fake of course). So therefore, I think he can appeal the guilty verdict regardless of the sentence.
No, he must be sentenced first. He's not technically convicted until sentencing.

They want Trump in jail so that he has no resources to undo everything that has been created and about to happen. i.e. Middle East, Stock Market, Racial Violence.
