So they shot an ICBM.
What happened in random US military centers around the world as they tracked this missile wondering if it is a nuke about to hit Ukraine.
Must have been TENSE in those rooms as they waited the few minutes for the ICBM to detonate wondering if it is a nuke or not
Good point. The alert that there was an ICBM launch in Russia would have been within seconds of launch. The smell of shit in that room must have been overpowering, not knowing, did Putin just decide to nuke Ukraine.
Next time someone walks into that room and pulls out a chair to sit on will undoubtedly ask why every chair has a vertical conical-shaped area near the back of each seat. The pucker-factor had to be a 10...
"Russia fired an intercontinental missile...." Next paragraph--"if confirmed...."
How many people will read the first paragraph and miss this part?
Iβm pretty sure itβs been confirmed
Yes. Confirmed that it was NOT an ICBM. As the article stated.
My grievance is with the writing style. Sensational intro, followed by the fact that its not confirmed.
I assume back-channel communications were active. They would've conveyed what they were launching and what it was targeting, and that it was non-nuclear.....at least I'd like to think that's what they did.
It's a logical assumption.
The people who matter knew what was up, and what wasn't.
Riveting!
This is actual fat more dangerous than that. Upon detecting the launch of an ICBM, potentially a nuke, might trigger the doctrines where it is potentially considered an event that requires nuclear response.
Russia might have just exposed what the Nato nuclear doctrine is.
Better not be a nuke.
It would be very stupid for Russia to use a nuke at this point in the game, for using nukes at all is a serious taboo that would invite deadly diplomatic repercussions and backlash, even amongst BRICS nations.
It doesn't matter. The US has the capability of shooting down an ICBM in its launch phase. Source: Lt Col Oliver North

"Launch phase" meaning when it is just getting off the pad or when it's already moving at mach 20 ?
It can also miss.
And Olly doesn't have a sterling reputation (Iran Contra)
Don't forget him & McNoName siphoning small fortunes out of the DoD after that mess.
Wasn't that before Russia had the hypersonic missile technology?
I don't know about that.
If you believe that, Iβve got a bridge in the Mojave desert Iβd like to sell you
Whats the postal costs to Ireland?
Reuters. 72 hour rule applies.
Indeed.
Unfortunately, it seems that the patience of GAW has gone WAY down while the compulsive urges to respond before thinking about what to say has gone WAY up.

Nah.
The guy says,
Is there in any instance where Trump could be installed earlier than Jan 20th?
Yes.
Well donβt leave me hanging, spill the beans. In what instance could Trump be installed early?
You are aware, I assume, that Trump is and has been CiC since his inauguration in 2017. The election of 2018 was to gather results of the fraud; 2020 was the confirmation of fraud throughout the system. bidan was not inaugurated in 2021, he was installed as the figurehead of the defunct corporation, which was declared bankrupt (final judgement) 21 Jan 2021, in FL bankruptcy court. At this point, evidence of election fraud is everywhere, in all states. Note that the too big to rig business is, in a sense, farcical, since much of the fix was stopped by the mil (USMC) and others. The vote was fraudulent, and ample proof is available. In that case, the mil is obliged to nullify, and since Trump is CiC, he can be reinstalled at any time. Regardless, the US has been under military rule since approximately 16 Jan 2021, when it was specifically stated by the LtGen in charge of the NG at that time: "I'm pleased with the peaceful transition to military rule."
Everything past that is part of the movie.
Plentiful videos and reports of RS26
I understand about Reuters but that was the top of the list and every news station around the world is reporting on it and showing it.
We donβt need Reuters to become valid 72 hours from now to confirm what actually happened has happened. That would negate the reporting of everyone else.
Do you have a RT link or official statement from Russia?
Nothing on RT or TASS as of yet. Not even the RT live feed, it's some war medic class documentary as of a moment ago.
Local LSM & LTV have reporting. Just descriptions. No video. Only audio media as of yet.
I read on X that it had no warhead and was instead a warning shot.
He said she said.... looks like a play on words. ICBM=MISSILE. I am waiting on this one.
These war mongers are working overtime to keep the Epstein Diddy Hunter videos from from being brought to light. It is a giant game of "look over here"
is it still an ICBM if it didnt leave the continent?
Exactly. ICBMs are pre-targeted to, US!
Why would they use up a inter-continental missle to go a few hundreds of KMs?
"Russia delivered a plate of food using an 40,000 lb truck".
They sent 7 more normal missiles 6 of which were shot down. The Kinzhal missile which is capable of delivering nuclear payloads is a MIRV & hypersonic the patriot systems canβt block itβ¦ they are sending the message we could nuke you in a second
check?
Just a warning shot across the NATO's bows.
I think this is just a message too. I'd bet there's a few brown pants today.
"Click" goes the ratchet.
A FAFO kinda situation for Ukraine
Russia could easily mop up the floor with Ukraine. This cannot end well for Ukraine. Now would be a good time to throw out they white flag.
The Penisianist knows what his handlers would do to him if he even hinted at it.
Reports coming in saying that another ICBM has been identified heading towards Dnepr.
No explosions reported yet but the whole of Ukraine is under air raid alert.
Stand by, stand by.
I don't think any country that wants to invade another country would use nuclear bombs on that country, because it would render that country (at least a large portion of it) useless, and dangerous.
Well, part of the country being invaded is where Chernobyl is, so the useless and dangerous part technically already exists there...
Never thought Russia would do that.... LOL nah, we all knew this shit was going to happen.
Prob Putin called 47 to let him know, beforehand. And to tell him a joke about a guy who walks into a bar with high heels and exits in under an hour with billions of public money.
Probably we don't know...lol But it's possible.
Russia reminding the USA under the deep state and the EU the idea of FAFO.
Worth also mentioning the "33" comms early on in the article too...
We have arrested developed children in way out of control positions of power.
When early Rome was facing an existential crisis, they asked a farmer to come back and lead them, twice!
He was over 80 years old by the second time. Closely relates to Trumps age.
He was healthy and not a drinker.
Actually, crazy how similar he was to Trump.
He did rescue the Roman Empire and they would go on to be great for hundreds of years.
At the end, there was no Cincinattus to rescue the decaying empire.
Im willing to bet Trump & Putin already had this discussion about the DS & their little piss ant Zelensky trying to start WW3.
ICBM = InterCONTINENTAL Ballistic Missile. Historically, Ukraine is part of Russia. Why would Putin waste an ICBM on that short range place?
Putin did a speak to gens and others, small meeting, in which he said what the missile(s) were: a new type hypersonic, Mach 10, first field use (the response). Primary testing was complete, and it was decided to use it as response. The missile had no warhead (explosive), and the initial field test relied on velocity only. There was no possibility of it being shot down by patriot missiles, as with previous Russian hypersonics. In other words, it didn't leave atmosphere, it was simply ballistic. If you're not familiar with hypervelocity "explosives", consider the USN's rail gun (under development in early 1970s, but kept quiet). The projectile has no explosives and relies entirely on high velocity impact. Whatever anyone says, it works.
I've seen the videos. I don't think those were ICBMs. The explosive profile is way too small. A U.S. made 2000 lb JDAM has a bigger profile than those "missiles" Ukraine says were Russian launched.
I'm suspecting some sort of tungsten core rods dropped from low orbit. I know for a fact we have them, and have had them since before I got out of the Navy in '04. And it's a better than fair bet that the CCP and Russian Federation have them as well.
The low-information learning of most of these comments is depressing. The news article clearly identified the missile as being "intermediate range" not "intercontinental" (IRBM, not ICBM). What's the difference? The ICBM range is too great for a close shot. It is why you cannot shoot someone with a cannon if they are standing only 6 feet away (the cannon barrel is too long).
And the article also stated that Putin (or his delegates) had briefed the U.S. in advance of the shot. Which was not a "warning shot," as it was targeted at military assets.
So, all the panicky comments could have been avoided if folks had simply read the news, and not depended on seriously misleading posting headline.
They donβt care. Thatβs the point.
So did the missile land and did it do damage? Were people hurt? I don't see that anywhere.
This story is a joke, just more fake news out of Ukraine.
In the past week Ukraine / NATO / CIA fired long range missiles into Russia. This is propaganda to make it look like Russia is doing the same thing.
Look at this tiny explosion. Obviously not a nuke, not even a large conventional bomb. https://youtu.be/G2sezhsnCPs
and not even footage of the same city. Great reporting.
They launched at DNIpro. DNI is Tulsi, who talked about pardoning Wikileaks and Snowden.
Incoming!
