I got into a heated discussion with my TDS-addled boss for 45 min today. He's livid about Trump's actions in first 2 weeks, particularly the DEI crap. Demanding to know why I voted for him because he's trying to understand. He was nearly screaming at me a couple times.
Unfortunately, I can't discuss with him the kind of stuff we discuss here...he's not ready and quite frankly, it would only trigger him more. He may never be able to be open to forthcoming truths (4-6%)...I hope so, as I want to help him understand.
Actually, he was AND is one of the best bosses I've ever had...he's extremely fair-handed that way, and doesn't let those discussions alter his professional treatment of myself. We actually became pretty good friends years ago apart from work...which is how/why we get into the kind of contentious discussion we did yesterday. But I'm not giving up on hiim...he's a smart guy! :)
for years we've all seen MOUNTAINS of exposures of corruption all over our government..... yet no arrests to speak of.... it's becoming hard to believe anything will be happening.... maybe a sternly worded letter thus far... but it doesn't give law abiding taxpayers warm fuzzies!
