The ordering (or lack thereof) these names are listed in (compared to the dates) seems odd.
Most important (think VIP) names first.

OK, I believe we need to make a calendar and plot these creatures.
There is numerology work, re dates, plus situational times to analyse, a numerical importance grading, and a comparison to Q -calendar to do.
If we get really carried away, we should make a framework to evaluate each hearing, when they start happening - some fundamental questions, that required detailed answers in each case.
Why is the order like this? To draw attention in the first instance, but if we order it according to date? What happens?

I don’t quite understand why having the House Oversight Committee talk to these people will move anything forward. Usually nothing happens in congress. Is this just for the publicity of making the general public more aware of these crimes?
It needs to be this way in the first instance, because the House oversight committee work for We the People, to keep the Representatives to their word.
The hearings, if they are dramatic and well-attended, are supposed to act as a public information instrument, especially since they have always been public, for the public - televized as early as the 'fifties. It may seem that 'they don't have the power of formal prosecution', but you see, they are not the judiciary. They work on public opinion.
In practice, if they are engaging enough, then congress-members themselves won't fall asleep, and will start paying attention, if only to do what their voters vote for., and 'keep their seats'. Also, Politics has its own dynamic, much influenced by Social Media and MSM, natural disasters, scandals, etc. So, this set of trials is a program that is meant to focus our attention. [And it is my belief that the War in Ukriane cannot be sorted until then, because it is heavily tied to that cookie-jar - note also the BB Visa whistle-blower allegations].
On the flip-side, is that corruption hides in darkness, which explains that when one observes a lethargy and disinterest in politics,the oversight committee's hearings or whatever statements, or I failed HS Sophomore history class anyways - type attitude, then one finds there are big carniverous woms eating the freshly harvested apples in the barrel. You see - it is to the advantage of coruption to make house oversight committee hearings, and council votes in general, reeeeeeelly boring. Case in point: the notoriously boring Jan6 hearings.

I think Merrick Garland and Mayorkas were VERY similar in how they answered questions or were deposed publicly in the past. I always got the impression that they were specifically trained by the same people on the same material as how not to answer any question directly.
