The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced that approximately 42 million Americans will lose their Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) food benefits beginning on November 1st due to the government shutdown.
40 million people CANNOT and should not be carried by the rest of society. That’s communism.

I feel sorry for those that truly deserve it. And if I can identify any of them I will help them out. But the abuse this system has taken. We need a to purge the system of the grifters.
I know of one person that deserves it but does not get it. She is a 63 year old widow that is living off her husband’s social security and also working. She is barely getting by living in a one bedroom apartment but she is making it and paying all her bills on time.
Deserve it? No one is in that category. Its by grace they get itt at all
So when they all lose it they'll need to reapply for it. This is the way to kick all the illegals off it and reledefine what SNAP truly is. A box of food staples that will hold you over for 30 days and nothing more.
2 Cases of Old MREs the first of the month. Help rotate stock in the storehouses around faster. Maybe include some fiber supplements for the after effects many who’ve lived off them a prolonged period can attest to.

You do realize that it is called SNAP.....Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. Supplemental being the operative word. It is not meant to be your entire source of food. You are meant to WORK to support yourself.
Yes. I was able to maintain carnivore for much less than that. But when people irresponsibly buy addictive obesogenic food, then it goes quick.

Good. The Wellfare State simply has to end. It was never intended to function as people’s sole source of income. Social safety nets were meant to help people catch their breath if the fell on hard times.
I have absolutely zero sympathy for anyone losing these benefits. I’m tired of paying for these freeloaders and busting my ass so they can sit at home and contribute nothing to society. And if that means some people who really need these benefits lose out on them, so be it.
