Some might be but you also have Vancouver, Victoria and other big cities filled to the brim with liberals. Oregon is a good example. Two cities, Portland and Eugene control the whole state as they are concentrated with more people and mostly liberal. I bet the same holds true for those western Canada provinces. Just too many liberals in the mix to risk our slim majority.

Alberta has the oil. How is BC worth more? It is definitely geographically nicer, prettier, but as far as resources Alberta and SK both have tons of resources they want to develop. Does BC also have this? What do they bring to the table besides liberal policies?
Connection to Alaska on entirely US soil, and the oil pipeline there. Not to mention all the deep water ports closest to China and Russia. We'd own an entire competitive trade coastline, rivaling anything else in the modern world.
Alberta is fine, but their location has always limited their oil/resource trade. They are less developed for a reason, we have plenty of other options for oil with better infrastructure. If we own BC we basically force them to trade on our terms anyway. Owning BC gets us Alberta for free. Let's own the TMX before it becomes a bigger competitor.

They are conservatives that LOVE America & POTUS. They are so jealous of America because they know what a swamp they live in. I always thought that Canada should lease a corridor for a Highway from Continental USA to Alaska. In exchange, the USA would lease a large patch of Land down South so Canadians could live there during the Winter. They could bring their Healthcare down there and businesses. It would be a beneficial and viable exchange between Nations.

Making them states would be the end of this country. Their populations are overwhelmingly liberal, even if less so than other provinces they are fighting with. Making them states would end up with 2 demonrat senators and a bunch of demonrat representatives in each one of them, and would give the Demonrats unbreakable power forever.
Every single state in this country aside from the original 13 had to spend years or decades as territories with no votes in Congress or in federal elections before they were eventually granted statehood. Puerto Rico, Guam, etc are still territories after many decades. Any provinces from Canada that join the US should have to spend a substantial amount of time as territories as well before being considered for statehood, to do anything else would be unfair to most of the current states who had to go through that process.
If they want to join the US as territories for a few decades, I welcome them with open arms. If they demand immediate statehood, then they can stay as they are with their current government and continue to lie in the bed that their voting helped to make.
Territories is the goal. They cannot skip the territory status to become states. Also, it is easier to forcibly remove all the illegal Chinese and Indians from Vancouver as a territory where martial law can effectively be used with minimal Constitutional restrictions. Territories are effectively military protectorates and this is why Guam is currently not a state.
Note that the Florida Territory was run by a military Governor named Andrew Jackson after it was taken from Spain because they had established "stay behind chaos units" as an early form of Operation Gladio, nearly 100 years before that was a known and named tactic. The CCP would definitely do that in Vancouver as BC is largely a "Chinese proxy state" by design.

Ever since I took the train from Vancouver to Calgary and learned the history of the trans-Canadian railway origin, I knew that there was a real possibility of western Canada becoming part of the US. It is closer than ever. Especially since I believe that we already own the British Commonwealth, including Canada.
Rough Process is as follows:
Official transfer of land(s) from CANADA CORP to American Republic via an organic act by current Congress, and immediate organization into Territories of the Republic.
Territorial convention for each proto-state where they create Constitution by likely adopting and modifying the Constitution of a similar non-commie state like Montana.
Vote by citizens to become a state.
Official recognition by the Republic SoS as additional states (not Constitutionally required from what I understand).
Districting for Reps and Senators, then special election for those with seating in Congress (the next session).

Territories, not States, first. Hold a referendum after 5 years as a territory. Give them 5 years to flush their illegals, Pajeets and CCP plants with Homan's help. The territories' citizenry must vote 75% in favor of becoming a State. US Congress must vote 75% in favor. Only then let them enter as States.
If they do a shitty job flushing the garbage out, they stay a territory. This includes all Pajeets, Chinese, and 3rd worlders making Canada shitty

There seems to be some confusion here about what constitutes "the western provinces." It would make things a lot clearer to non-Canadians if we would just say "the Prarie provinces" Because BC is pretty much just Canadian california.

This I think is why Trump has always referred to Canada as the 51st state. It minimizes the difficulties.
