Who would truly go out and vote strictly because of abortion anyway?

It gives them top cover for their cheating operations. "Everyone came out to vote due to the supreme court abortion issue". It also gives something for fake news to focus on rather than the colossal failures which DO get people to change to voting republican or becoming apathetic.

Yes, exactly. The democrats in charge don't give a shit about whether abortion is legal or illegal. All they care about is getting people on their side out to vote, which this will do. The left has literally no motivation to vote right now and this gives them an issue to rally behind.

Note, your Texas date is old. There is a RUNOFF May 24th.

Texas, this is an extremely important primary run-off. We absolutely need to make sure Paxton gets reelected to attorney general and not the RINO Bush trying to unseat him.

Paxton has been an absolute superstar (he was person that brought the supreme court case on 2020 election and has been prosecuting people for election fraud). They are doing everything they can to smear and get Paxton out of his seat.

I really don't see that. He basically says its driven by a "CCP and PBOC’s desire to temper soaring commodity prices" is the reason they have lockdowns, but lockdowns do the opposite ("they will only have a temporary effect, it holds no weight"). That's it.

Not a single why and not a single explanation beyond "I'm really smart, you should follow my podcast because I knew it would happen this way". Then rinse and repeat.

Catsfive, i think you do a TON of great posts here regularly so its not a criticism of you. Just this particular sticky being really low quality.

Too bad the article mentions nothing of substance other than "i predicted it" rambling on for paragraph after paragraph. Hence my point, it's a garbage article.

This article is crap no offense. It's basically "Its not medical its financial... you know how I know? because I predicted it. Here is all the evidence I predicted it"

That's not a useful article even if I agree 100% its not medical driven.

It went through the house today and passed. It passed senate yesterday. It's heading to Desantis now to sign (and he certainly will).

The bill is pretty simple. It "dissolves" the independent special district (Reedy Creek) where they have $2B in debt in bonds. The assets and the debt would likely transfer to Orlando.

Either way, it needs to be clearly stated that the debt stays with Disney.

It hasn't yet passed the house.

And you are correct to be suspicious, the bill wipes $2B of debt away from Disney and onto Florida government. They need to revise it to keep them liable for paying off their debt.

This legislature is NOT the great thing people here think it is. It wipes $2B of debt off of Disney's books. It needs to be modified to include the fact that they are still on the hook for the debt.

Just so it's clear since it doesn't list it there, this was exactly across party lines (Democrats voting against, republicans voting for). Only two deviations:

Taddeo (Democrat) was a no vote.

Brandes (Republican - Tampa) voted against it but on the principle that it is wiping out $2B of debt off of disney's plate and shouldn't be benefiting them in any way. Which is a fair reason to vote against it.

Don't disagree that market makers are heavily manipulating the market but it's still done via buy and sell orders.

It literally moves purely on buy and sell orders... news increases or decreases orders accordingly.
