I had a different take. Remember, suddenly out of the blue Red states started passing abortion laws, that precipitated this case. It can't be random and without calculation. I bet everything is per the timeline. Here was my take.
I believe the left indeed believes this could lead to the kind of outrage to push everyone to the elections. Its why they are allowing the Roe vs Wade to be overturned. But as always, these schemes will boomergang back into their little heads.
Another possibilty is, this is a white hat leak to help prevent WWIII.
The left has been progressively ramping up the anti-Russian rhetoric and talking more openly about war. In talking with several lefties I know, they are buying it hook line and sinker. They think Putin is literally Hitler-incarnate and must be stopped.
Perhaps this is a shiny object to distract them.
Honestly, I could see this going both ways.
The left AND right (sadly) have bought into Putin being Hitler 2.0.
However I think the country’s appetite for another war is weak. At best, we’re willing to fund a proxy war.
So, this could well be a distraction to stop the escalation, or just as easily be a distraction to turn the proxy war into a real war. But would that even work?
De-escalation probably makes more sense. But I can’t shake this feeling that the timing here is more bad than good.
I do know that if we had ANY proper opposition from the normie right, we’d be seeing the right get ahead of this by emphasizing the number of lives - particularly minority lives - that this ruling would save.
But we don’t, because the right is a lie, and once again we’re seeing that there is only Trump / Q vs the elites.
I'm not sure WH would have gone so far as to break the sanctity of the court by leaking a draft. It does way more to help BH by changing many negative narratives that dems wanted off the daily focus, particularly the game changing 2000 mules.

Oh yeah, I understand that, but will it work? There are large blocs of Progressives who simply don't show up on election day.... lots of young people, students, etc., many in the black community. I can see three possibilities.
It was done to try to prevent the decision. This one is unlikely because this draft is from February. The decision is likely much closer to going public now, so it’s probably too late to change the decision.
It’s done to soften the blow. This one is possible. Leak the info, let some people who pay close attention to such things learn of what’s going to happen, then later the real news comes out.
Someone who received this draft was pissed off and acted on impulse. Always a possibility.
Overall I would say 2 or 3 is more likely then 1 in this case but we will have to see what the outcome of this move is to know for sure.

It depends on if the desire for abortion and "women's health" is more or less powerful than all of the other issues that people are pissed at the Demonic Rats about (i.e. Inflation, ravaged economy, gas prices, failures at Afghanistan and Ukraine, CRT everywhere, crime, illegal immigration, etc.). I'm not sure. The leak may have been to pressure the justices so they wouldn't overturn R v W. However, if the document had not been leaked then the cat would be out of the bag this summer when SCOTUS announced their decision. As it stands, there's now 6 months for the Progs to rage before the November elections. That's plenty of time for them to get distracted by something else.
