No law requires the president to swear in with a Bible, it could be done with a comic book if they really wanted.

Can Trump’s conviction be overruled with an appeal of he’s pardoned? Would a pardon solidify that he was convicted and “sentenced” ?

My grandma has been in a nursing home for the past several years. Within the last year or so, she has begun to show signs of dementia. I can't imagine convincing her to take "muh horse paste" though. She'd probably report it to the staff there.

And that's besides her views politically. I really don't know if she has much of an opinion on Trump or conservatives. She probably doesn't even remember or care she's been in the nursing home so long now. But she's originally from New England, so I imagine she's probably liberal. My grandpa is a big Trump supporter, though. Maybe I'll get in touch with him and ask if he's heard about this.

It’s better Trump won 2024 than 2020 because if he’d won then, he’d have a divided House to deal with. But now, for at least the next 2 years, we will have the trifecta.

This former would’ve been a preferable situation for liberals, because he’d be leaving office in 5 days, but now they’ll have to deal with him for ANOTHER 4 years.

I hope that the next 2 years will help to secure midterms from cheating. Democrats should be exposed and never legitimately win another election ever again.

If Butler wasn't the shot heard around the world, what will make Jan 19 so?

This is scary. His venue is Capital One Arena, so at least it's not open air, but I'm very worried. He really needs to bunker down in Mar a Lago until inauguration. If he still intends on going, he had better move quickly from the car to the arena and that place better THROUGHLY be checked for bombs or stashed weapons, and everyone entering should need a pat down and metal detectors.

J&J is Janssen, yes. It got pulled in April 2021, ironically, because of "reported blood clots post vaccination".

Weird how they'll admit to that one but not the others.

Japan approved 5 different brands of the Covid jab: Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Janssen (never deployed), and Novavax.

Pfizer and Moderna are mRNA vaccines, while AstraZeneca is viral vector and Novavax is subunit.

I'm curious of the rate of ill-effects with the viral vector and subunit jabs compared to the mRNA ones. I have two close relatives who both received the Moderna jab and ended up with heart issues. My best friend, however, got the Janssen one, which is viral vector, and to my knowledge has never had any ill-effects resulting from it. This makes me wonder, are the non-mRNA jabs "safer"? I still would not get any of them, though.

But that leads me onto my next point: how pure is your blood? If we consider one's blood tainted by having receiving a Covid jab, this may vary depending on what brand/type you received. Correct me if I'm wrong on this, I'm not fully understanding of the process behind it, but the mRNA jab's purpose is to make your body genetically remember to fight off what you got vaccinated for in the future, right? And subunit and viral vector are more or less similar to standard vaccines, so eventually they should work their way out of your system, but do not change your genetics.

I really would need to see the rates of ill-effects of mRNA Covid jabs vs. non-mRNA jabs, but if it is significantly lower for non-mRNA ones, would we consider people who received those as truly having tainted blood; more so than any given person who has received literally any other non-mRNA vaccine, ever?

Let me ask you this: Would you feel any more comfortable marrying and having children with someone who has had a non-mRNA Covid jab than someone who had an mRNA jab? As a married couple, your money is jointly yours, and dealing with medical expenses as a result of injury due to the Covid jab could add up. But I'm also concerned with what's being passed on to offspring as well. Given how mRNA and non-mRNA vaccines work, I would assume that someone who has had an mRNA Covid jab may be passing on their edited genes and tainted blood to their child--but is this the same for someone who's had a non-mRNA jab? I wouldn't think so, or else they wouldn't need to jab infants with like 20 different vaccines immediately after birth.
