Was just at a pizza outing tonight. I asked a lady I was sitting with how her food was. She said, "Pretty good, I think." I said, (puzzled) "aren't you sure?"

She said, "I haven't had taste since Covid."

I said oh, and we got into a bit of discussion as to whether a nicotine patch might help.

Then she said, "I never actually had Covid. To be honest I think it was the VACCINE I had to take right before I went on a cruise. I noticed that the cruise food seemed tasteless, which didn't seem right."

Ugh. The "Gift" that keeps on "GIVING."

I think at least SOME people are starting to put two and two together.

I'm as opposed to this type of thing existing as I can possibly be -- mentally and spiritually.

But 'real life' porn involves exploitation of individuals (kids, women). Whereas the AI stuff is generated. So how do you distinguish between 'that's an 18-year-old being depicted' and 'that's a 16-year-old' being depicted. Plus there are actually real life 10-year-olds who are as well developed as an adult woman.

What's obvious to one person isn't obvious to the next, unless you're dealing with images of infants, babies, little kids.

And obviously AI can make those super realistic, which is problematic.

But what about hand drawn stuff?

I think it's complicated at best.

He's older than Boomers!

Barely, but still.

He and Joe Biden are the Silent Generation.

If you have a parent available to do it, homeschooling is WAY more efficient than Libnut School. What takes them 7 hours a day took us 2-3 at home, covering MUCH more material than they did. Also you can still cover the 'socializing' aspect by getting your kids into activities, sports and homeschooling groups that often do a TON of stuff. Both my kids got into college with full tuition scholarships so I believe there was no dropoff in the quality of their education either.

We're brainwashed that government-run schooling is necessary. Now obviously if both parents work you do what you have to do.

A doctor can't afford that?

Doesn't seem likely. You need insurance for catastrophic health issues that you can't predict.

The entire genetic line will have 6 fingers on each hand.

Which makes sense, if they're related...

Before you pass this around, I read that he used a cleaned up version of the lyrics for the Superbowl.

Not that any English speakers could tell.

If anyone knows of a search engine that does a better job than most, please let us know.

For stuff that seems impossible to access via Google et al, I get better results with yandex. Not perfect, but better.

That sounds especially nutty because what if she:

Slept in? Didn't feel well? Was out of town?

What "parishioner" supposedly made this call? Who at the house received the call?

Why would anyone even notice this, it doesn't even sound particularly alarming.
