I don't know why people equate this with being a soulless NPC. I think it's weird there are people who ONLY think in words like a TV show internal monologue... probably explains why they are so easily manipulated by words.

If my mom hadn't had an abortion when she was younger, she would have never met my father, and neither I nor my sister would have ever been born.

If a shower habit throws you into a heart attack... you are by definition NOT HEALTHY.

Sounds about right. My mom said helicopter parenting started in between having me and my sister (early vs late 80s), and she encountered more people who were horrified I was allowed to be home alone or that I had to get myself up, dressed, fed, and off to school when I was still in elementary school.

Wow! I just watched this. More CO2 = not only better crop yields, but more efficient use of water by plants. These fucking demons are terrifying people about not there not being enough food and not enough water when they're actually trying to bring about those problems by demonizing CO2. Fuck.

I'm an INTJ. I was deep in all the personality typing stuff for a few years... Enneagram, Socionics, Jung's cognitive functions. A lot of people mistype, but it would make sense for there to be a disproportionate amount of Ni-dominant types here.

Weird how 15 week restrictions and total bans are the same to them.

I'm O+, unvaxxed, I think I had it twice. First time based on symptoms, had a fever for a day and a lingering cough, overall lame. The second time I only know because my BF lost his sense of smell for over a year. I was just a little tired for a couple of days. No idea his blood type.

If you have a daughter who likes to read and you want to fight this trans everything stuff... I highly recommend Tamora Pierce's Song of the Lioness books. When I reread them as an adult, I was quite impressed. Protagonist disguises herself to become a knight and pretty much wants to be a boy. Spoiler alert: she ends up marrying a dude and having kids, and even wears a dress and makeup once in a while. And is also a knight.

People even here don't understand the ruling... Approving the of the reversal of Roe =/= anti abortion. Abortion is not banned. Holy shit this is getting embarrassing.

I think I had to twice too, about a year apart. First time had a fever for a day and coughed for weeks.

Second time I was... a little tired? Maybe coughed a little? BF lost his smell.

I thought I read an article years ago that said they're distantly related as a fun fact. Or maybe I'm thinking of someone else.

Lots of things. Hormonal birth control, women delaying having children, inflation, housing prices, "humans are killing the earth maaaan" propaganda, unhealthy lifestyles and diet, intergenerational trauma from increasingly unstable households, etc etc...

I actually had a middle school and a high school teacher who were very good and taught ALL of this. I doubt many of my classmates retained any of the information.

A mirror...? Do they mean in a jerking off, "I'd fuck me" kind of way? Huh?
