I live in a dictator state and I’ve found a few stores that I can comfortably go into without a mask. Please add the businesses you know of too!
- Homegoods/TJ maxx/Marshall’s - simply say you have a medical condition
- Home Depot - safe, employees don’t say anything
- Target - safe, employees don’t say anything
Not lying.
"Doctors said not to wear it. I have a condition."
100% true for virtually 100% of people
Thousands of doctors have said not to wear it, including Emperor Fauci
And everyone has the condition of needing to breathe freely; get sufficient oxygen; cast off sufficient CO2, viruses and bacteria; and get exposure to environmental pathogens in small amounts to fortify the immune system.
Each to his oen
I like giving the employee a nice justification for leaving me alone and teaching them that many people have medical conditions that preclude the mask so they need to leave everyone be.
I work at a grocery store, and we highly resent being made into babysitters. If given the opportunity to not care, we won't. We worked the first six weeks of Covid without masks. We know it's bullshit.
I'm jealous. Our managers are elderly masktards. Luckily our customers are slowly calming down about it, over the summer and Christmas they were getting into little toddler squabbles constantly.
????
Agree, right on!
Was in Giant grocery the other day - no mask. WOman at customer service asked me if I wanted a mask, I said "no thanks, can't wear one, doctor's orders". No resistance. Same thing upon checkout. Not one look or comment from other shoppers.
Actually, I am under doctor's orders, but I said the same thing before I was suddenly 2 weeks ago.
I took a couple stents to the heart 2 weeks ago today. Doc said O2 is important. Ergo, no mask for Blacksmith. Eff that noise.
What causes someone to need stents? If you don't mind me asking. Godspeed, blacksmith!
Do you have high cholesterol? and did you know before? Were you taking any drugs if so?
Thx
Hope you break out the science too. The proven science that actually exists.
?
From another thread yesterday:
lol
I'll have to remember that one. Classic.
Same thing happened to me at the door of a grocery store yesterday with a cop asking me if I wanted a mask. They said 'oh you got a medical thing? Come right in!'
Only the local library and CVS have gone full nazi on me and trampled my civil rights, refusing me service due to a non-contagious medical condition called needing to beeathe freely
Library is seriously the worst place I have gone. If you don't sanitize on coming in they will literally jump out from behind the desk and form a physical blockade until you go back and squirt. I told them the other day I did it in my car before coming in and they say "you will do it and I will need to see you do it". Also every time I am in there they are walking around and if someone's mask has slid down their nose at all they go up to them and order them to pull it up. Like these people are no where near anyone and you are going up to them? WTF Also the sanitizing thing stopped early last summer everywhere else when it was proven that fomite transmission is not really a thing for covid, but the super smarts at the library keep the myth alive with their Purell Nazism. The worst power trippers and I just feel bad for them now, like they have nothing better to live for than enforcing unscientific rules for the sake of obedience and submission.
SHHHHH!
/s
I work in a library. It's nuts. The majority of people who work in libraries are very very very liberal and believe everything the CDC and mainstream media says.
Going to the library feels like juvy now. They take your temperature, escort you around, you have to carry a card that says what time you checked in and how long you can stay. There are almost as many librarians poking around sanitizing things as there are patrons in the building. I think the Covid checkpoints are busy work so they don't have to lay librarians off.
Yes. PA Giants are good in my area.
Local mom and pop deli (I worked there as a teenager & they still) got all tyrannical about the mask with me. So fuck them. If they end up closing over this, they deserve it. Especially bc the police in this town would NEVER enforce the mask issue.
Have yet to find any peer reviewed research on the public health justifications for the one way doors and aisles theory.
Local grocery had arrows on the floor but everyone ignored them so they finally took them off
Petty tyranny for the sake of it. But we all know that already.
We have a habitat for humanity that has a ''wrong door'' now. Seriously fuck that noise.
I watched some Amish go through the non auto door at Walmart.. used to be my preferred entry point too. They don't wear masks, either. Might get myself some Amish get-up for shopping days..
Same here. Very disappointed. I'd prefer to support small businesses.
There's a reason they want to eliminate all those ma and pa stores. They will NOT comply with deep state orders.
once the vax passports become mandatory, they don't want the ma & pa stores to be around to service the non-compliant people. I think that is a big reason the big box stores were allowed to thrive during this time and the small local stores were forced to close (probably permanently in most cases). Eliminate the options for those of us that refuse the jab.... we will either comply or die of starvation.
"we will either comply or die of starvation."
Now Witmers banning the sale/purchase of vegetable seeds makes sense.
Buy veggies, get the seeds for free.
Yep started doing that last summer for heirloom tomatoes and some melons, great thing of doing it that way is you can try them before you plant so you’ll know what they taste like. Got about 200 seeds from one tomato that I’ll be starting this weekend.
Wow. She's a complete cunt.
Never thought of that but it makes sense.
The little ma and pa shops here are in COMPLETE COMPLIANCE with the deep state orders.
Not here in a deep red rural county of NC. Especially not in any of the Amish stores.
Sounds nice!
Yep. It really depends alot on who the owner or manager is. Some big box stores are fine while small stores owned by a liberal are mask Nazis.
Sadly, its the mom and pop stores that are pushing this more than anything. At least from what I have noticed. That was typically all I shopped before this shit happened, now I have to go to reg retail chains cause they are the only ones not flipping out about masks, and not kicking me out of the store.
THIS
I've never wore a mask in any store. No one has ever said anything to me. Gotta love Tennessee
why do people wear masks at church? My church runs about 120 (up 43% due to covid lmao) and nobody has worn masks since we reopened in June.
I never wear it here in Florida but some stores really try to ram it up your snoot
Except in the state of Maine - they will not allow the disabled to have an accommodation. I know I lost my business over it - combat disabled veteran who could prove I couldn’t mask up, they removed my accommodation and told me I wasn’t allowed in public - we are moving to Florida
Dont do Jacksonville or Tampa. Pan handle has the worlds best beaches.
30A!!!
I'm a big fan of Pensacola Beach. Fort Pickens National park you can see Blue Angels practice up to 3 times a week. Truly awesome!
Clearwater is nice
Tons of hurricanes too, every year
We moved too. Good luck fellow veteran.
Hey neighbor, why not just scoot a little west over to NH?
We have the stupid mandate too but there are so many exceptions it is meaningless, even though 99% of folk still wear them, its easy to avoid.
I've been to the following places consistently with no mask:
Pet Smart Michaels Belk Publix Aldi Kirklands Home Goods T J Maxx Wal Mart Home Depot Dollar Tree Quality Foods (locally owned) Hobby Lobby Bed Bath and Beyond Best Buy
But the problem is, the mask "relaxation" in these places is not consistent throughout the U.S.
Local Pet Smart is hideous abrasive loud bullying nazis about the mask
Sprouts is racist even though they claim blm. Went there with hubby and special needs son, we are all mask exempt (disabled vet here). The white people were cowards and sent the fat ass fridgerator Mexican (probably illegal) to come over with her dirty box of masks, hand on hip and yell at us in front of everyone to please her white masters.
I told her I was exempt and to get out of my face. Then we stated that they are discriminating against an autistic individual and veteran. Dropped our basket right where it was and walked out. So tired of them. Our state isn’t even under a mandate anymore.
I like to say "wearing a mask makes my schizophrenia flare up" ? no o e wants to mess with that. Crazy eyes is a good prop.
I go everywhere maskless. I have not had an incident in months. Starting to see more people maskless indoors now but still a small percentage.
Best Buy are the worst in my area. Total nazis. Stand at the door and won't let you in without one and tell you to order online if you want something.
I won't shop there anymore, so other than that, I don't wear a mask anywhere.
Interestingly Harbor Freight asks for you to put a mask on, but I just tell them I have a medical condition and they don't press any further.
Lowes/Home depot/Aldi/Kroger/and a few others are all safe as far as I know.
Another thing that has shocked me during all this is that small local businesses are almost worse than the chains. I live in a college town and the owners started their stores with daddy's money and don't have to worry about losing it so they are mostly total assholes about masks. I don't wear one anywhere and won't shop in a mom n pop store if they give me shit about it.
Sheetz, Lowes, Advanced Auto, Rutters, CVS, Tractor Supply, Vehicle Dealerships, the list goes on just walk in and own it...Fuck These other Mask Nazis!
CVS refused to serve me, shamed me loudly in front of the other customers, and ejected me after I calmly and quietly informed them of my medical condition
Only they and the library did this.
It’s crazy bc if you are in Walgreens it’s usually due to health issues.
I am sure it depends where one lives...
I never understood cognitive dissonance until I saw: airports then airplanes, restaurants then tables, basketball games then players. unt so vieter... ;)
The list is all of them. what are they gonna do. Liberals have no balls and wont force me to wear it.
I’ve received pushback at Target before. It must depend on one’s area. All my local mom and pop businesses couldn’t care less if someone’s wearing one or not. I’ve started walking in maskless everywhere and waiting to be prompted to put it on, or ask if they can provide me with one.
As a resident who lives in the USA and not China heres a list of stores I go into maskless.
1.All of Them 2. They can blow me if they don't like it.
Everything in Massachusetts requires it. But its a pretty good bet that if the person behind the register isnt wearing one, they wont say anything to you. I go to places ive done business with for years, they know how much money i spend and want to keep getting it.
I have made it a point to deal with locally owned businesses my whole life. Id prefer my money to stay in my community.
Im not officially hired anywhere.but i told them if they come at with the mask bullshit.or the city shows up and says anything, im gone. Im the best they got at what i do.
Me and the girl are thinking about leaving as well.well not thinking about it,we are.just gotta get past the leaving everything and everyone we know thing
???
Target omegalol
my target is nazis mang. full lgbtq diversity bs
Most of these stores still have signs on the door, but this has been my experience.
Stores where I've had no problem. Walmart, Winn Dixie, Publix, Dollar Tree, Home Depot, Petsmart
Target, I had no problem, but they stopped my teenagers & made them put on a mask. I haven't been back to Target for that reason.
After seeing signs on the Old Navy & Dillards entrances, I called first & told them that I don't wear a mask & could I shop there. They let me, no problem at Old Navy. At Dillards, she had to get the o.k. from her manager.
We also went to TJ Maxx, which was no problem, but their fitting rooms were still closed, so that was a waste of time.
Now, for eye doctors, that's a different story. Every eye doctor I called said that they required masks. So I went to a Walmart eye doctor for my son. At first they let us in, but then they came to me, to say they required a mask. I went to the other Walmart eye doctor & he wouldn't even let me pay outside the rope barrier without a mask & a temperature check. I went back to the other Walmart after that. It's so ridiculous. I'm in Florida.
Hate to say it but I notice that the leftists mass holes are afraid to say anything to white people but are quick to humiliate our black family. It’s happened so many times to us we moved across the country. Only happened once here. In the black community, they are just mean and abusive in general to who they consider the “wrong type of black person.”
Yikes, I didn't know that. I'm not black, so I don't know how the black community treats each other, but you did remind me of an incident that happened at work once.
I was walking with a black co-worker when she spotted a black woman across the way that had just started working there. My co-worker turned to me and said, "at least I ain't that dark". I was kind of surprised, because I didn't see how that mattered how dark she was.
Yup, most of the rot in our community is because of the attitude problems within it.
If anyone questions you, tell them you follow NIH guidance, not CDC guidance. NIH (National Institute of Health, also government agency if they care to defer to government guidance only) has come out against masks.
so you ARE following guidance. Science, maaaaaaaan!
I keep a print out of the NIH paper with me and offer it to them to read. While I wait. Without my mask on.
All of these store in Virginia still require a mask.
I live in Virginia and refuse to wear a mask. Hardly ever hear anything. My second homes are aldi, lowes, and home depot so it's not that bad anyway.
What part of Virginia are you in? NOVA is on lockdown. I have started to see some of the signage come down from the front doors of the stores but for the most part, any store I try to walk into makes me put a mask on.
Stores all still have it in SWVA, but most everyone still wears them here... Not uncommon for me to be the only one maskless.
I live in northern VA and have been kicked out of 2 stores. The only store I have not had an issue with is one Giant close to my home; told them I Had a medical condition and they let me right in. Other than that they are all enforcing here in my town. The ones I get kicked out of are mom and pop.
Ah. Commie NOVA. I'm in SWVA and it's more relaxed for sure.
i have yet to find any business in rural Ohio that doesn't require masks. Except for Amish country but that's a long drive and you can't find anything cheap since they jacked up the prices lol.
Have you tried just walking in without one? I do it all the time. My philosophy is, I'm not putting the mask on anymore, unless they come confront me and tell me too. Make them confront you if they want you to wear one.
Exactly! ?
I've turned and walked out if they tried to challenge me.
Man if we all did that to every store they’d drop the policy pronto!
Our state has a webpage. People are going to stores and filling cart of stuff they fully intend to buy. If told they have to wear a mask at the checkout, they are leaving their cart at the checkout and leaving.
Sounds like a good play for Trader Joe’s.
To be clear, I have not worn one since the beginning. The gas station said "you need a mask" When I said I couldn't he said "It is store policy " and refused to sell me my stuff. I left it and walked out. Have not been back. No money from me.
I stopped at a gas station in Ohio on a road trip last year and they were straight up assholes about it. Didn't expect that in rural ohio.
Try using the “I have a medical condition, thanks for asking” approach and keep it moving. If they’re crazy about it, then leave. Most times people back off with that excuse bc they’re afraid of crossing legal lines.
That's what I mostly do. I decide before going in, that if they say something then I'll just leave. A few times, when I didn't feel like dealing with it, I called ahead. I told them that I didn't wear masks, could I shop at their store?
One lady said, they would provide a mask. So I had to reiterate to her that I don't wear masks & I don't want a mask. I just want to know if it's o.k. to shop at her store like that. She finally said yes. I can't believe our world has turned into this silliness. I'm 52 & never dreamed this would be the future of America.
I have, each time I get kicked out because
A. I'm not an adult quite yet so I guess that gives them feeling of power and B. I don't like fighting anyway if I can help it. But I do make sure to redpill the staff quite loudly so everyone else in the store can hear.
The best part is when you hear an "Amen" from somewhere in the store.
I have teenagers and I've noticed that. I've gone into stores & they didn't say a word, yet they confronted my teenagers about it, when I wasn't with them.
I walk right past the signs. As a retail employee myself, I have to wear a mask at work but dang I love the customers who come in without. I even make sure they’re really well taken care of.
I've noticed that when I'm shopping. Many of them seem to be extra friendly. I don't think they want to wear the masks either.
100% we ARE THE MAJORITY
I don't wear a mask, and I get quick attention in stores to ask if i need help finding anything. They seem extra helpful. I thought it was to help me get what I came for and get me out of the store quickly. But maybe they are doing like you said above.
I live in central Ohio and haven’t worn one. All the stores I walk into say they’re required tho
Yep yep. ?
We built a new home and have lots of people in and out for things like cabinet repairs, deliver and install appliances, alarm setup, window coverings, etc.. They always show up masked as they enter our home. I tell them we don't mask and don't care if they mask or not. Most of them remove the mask and say 'thank you, I hate that thing'.
Yes, so true!
Aldi! Honestly they have been the best store I've been to this entire year about respecting a medical condition... Also if you look at the ingredients of their products they don't put in all the fake b******* that American fake food companies do
Aldi in chicago requires a mask now. I'm sick of arguing so I now shop elsewhere.
TARGET is not that way in Houston
Walmart is 100% safe in Houston
Home Depot is safe as well
Michael's Art Supplies is safe, their signs all say "we encourage"
I was in Walgreens in Illinois yesterday and about 7 people in line, 3 did not have masks. Nothing was said.
Publix and Lowe's
Shop with a friend. Have a good time. Solves multiple issues. ?
My Home Depot kindly offers masks but I just say "no thank you" and keep walking.
In TN. Went to Home Depot yesterday. Seriously, every 5 minutes was an announcement over PA about wearing a mask. Of course, it was near Nashville who has a VERY liberal Dem mayor. Went to a local restaurant (35 miles away from Nashville) and was SO refreshing to be able to walk in maskless, and see waitresses maskless. Things looked so normal in a full dining room.
i like the "im in the control group line" another user posted.
711 never cares
I hate ONE 711 the arab guy behind that counter tried to tell me I had to wear a mask, told him I can't. just gives me horrid faces now lol
Don’t you love the nerve of foreigners and lgbtq demanding your hygiene standards? Makes me ill
Yup.. we live in la la land now.
I was told at Target I couldn’t try on a button down shirt OVER my other shirt real quick. I had to buy it first, see if it fit at home, and then drive back to return it if it didn’t fit. Employee was standing right there when I started to put it on. Needless to say I walked out.
Yeah, all dressing rooms are still closed but try going in without a mask to Target. I’m trying to figure out company policies and who is staunch and who if you push they’ll cave.
I get harassed at some points at target, but I always just say "No Thanks" and smile really big at them and keep walking.
Cool, I’ll give it a try!
Pro tip: I just wear headphones if I’m iffy. Can’t hear comments, if there are any.
Downtown Columbus: -All speedways -Kroger -buckeye gold -giant eagle most of the time but had a couple instances where I was accosted by security
All of them.
If stores are open to the public they cannot discriminate against any members of the public
If they are open to the public, their store during "public hours of operation" is considered public property, otherwise all shoppers are trespassing.
If no one is breaking the law (trespassing) and there is no law for a mask, you can shop at any store
These is no mask law
"Deprivation of Rights Under Color of Law"
Ohhhh, I like this...
We live in NC. I have the Exec Order on my phone, with the "Exemptions" highlighted. Exemptions can be medical or behavioral (and they are not suppose to ask). I can truthfully claim a medical exemption - asthma. My hubs has a behavioral exemption - a bad attitude. As he is a big guy, no one ever challenges him, so I don't get to witness him going "behavioral" on the maskholes.
Add Lowe's and Autozone to the list. The lowes by me doesn't even have mask propaganda posted at the doors anymore...
