There may be a problem with if it’s admissible, though. Depends on the state where the filming occurred. If it’s a two party consent state, and CNN man didn’t consent to the taping, the court can’t admit it as evidence.

While the conduct of CNN is clearly reprehensible, the FCC has no authority to do anything about it. CNN, Fox News, and others deliver their content exclusively over privately owned transmission means (cable, satellite, etc.) to subscribers and are thus exempt from regulation by the FCC. Use the search term “is CNN subject to FCC regulation” and you will find a multitude of articles explaining the legal issue.

While there is democrat control in congress and senate, CNN and its employees will likely never see any legal fallout from any of these videos.
The fallout they are more likely to receive is viewership dropping to a point so low that advertisers decide to no longer buy ad time. CNN can only be propped up for so long before it will be seen as a loss to the point of closing up shop for good.
