Idk who she is, but to be honest I've held my babies in some interesting positions lol. Maybe she is trying to show off her body, but I don't see what the big deal is. I've held my kids like that for a minute, its not like she's holding him by his head....

At that age babies don’t have the neck muscles to support their heads, which puts a lot of pressure into their still developing spines. Admittedly, one pic isn’t close to the full story, but it’s not a good look either.

This is what she lets the world see. At this AGE her baby's comfort should be her primary concern, not showing off that she's ready to reproduce again.

So what is she like when no one is watching?

Exactly. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is one of the first times she held the baby at all. I find a lot of parents like the attention that comes from having a new born, but like a puppy or kitten, once it’s no longer the cute baby, they loose interest. It’s really sad.

How in the hell does she look like that after a pregnancy? I don't see one stretch mark, not an ounce of extra weight? no c section scar either. Did she buy the kid and fake the pregnancy? Her boobs are even still perky. Man, some people have all the luck.

Drugs, more drugs, induced the baby early, started it on soy formula immediately so that her breasts would stop producing milk and her body stopped storing fat for the milk. Likely took some hormones to speed that along. Then works out with a personal trainer while someone else takes care of the child.

When you see a skinny new mom, don't think "Awe, she's so lucky!" Think, "she's raising her baby from a bottle for her own vanity." And when they are rich "someone else is raising the baby from a bottle."

I gained over 80 pounds when I was pregnant—and not by choice. Started at 125 and climbed well over 200. All this while working out, too. I ate a lot (not the healthiest diet) to counteract the constant nausea I had while preggers. Afterwards, I got my diet back on track. 13 years later, I'm a healthy 140, and work out 5-6 times a week. Losing the post-baby weight wasn't easy, but I did it.

She's seen nursing her son in other photos, also nursing mothers tend to snap back to their pre-baby bodies faster, and they burn more calories just by nursing.

I’ve had five kids and no stretch marks (I have a long torso, so I had extra space I guess, and stretchy skin), I workout regularly and stay in good shape. For me it was all about getting back into it as soon as possible, not putting it off and letting the fat get all comfy. It’s hard work and it bugs me when people say that I’m just lucky because I sweat my butt off for this. My little ones like the gym too because they can play with the other kids their age.

Oh and breastfeeding! That helps get the body back quicker!

If you have regular exercise in your life and continue those good habits, you can enjoy your food as well! Moderation is key, of course, but it sounds like you have it down pat! :) That's very inspiring.

Im a mother of two, youngest is 20 months old, an I'm still breastfeeding him. Breastfeeding makes you lose the baby weight fast. I have to eat lots of food to maintain my weight...

Also, I would never hold my baby like that especially at such a young age, when he's probably not developed enough to fully hold his head up...

That's not a real mom.. an what's with the ring she's showing off too?

Younger women are more elastic, some do get off fairly unscathed the first time. For the rest there are "mommy makeovers." Find a recent picture of Kris Jenner and ask how she can look like that after all her kids.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 3 ▼
– GA2A 3 points 5 years ago +3 / -0

Sure!! I can only say what has worked for me. I admit that it’s been more challenging since I’m close to 40. I had 3 kids in my 20s then two more after 35.

Breastfeeding helps a lot, it gets your uterus back down to its regular size quicker, plus you burn crazy calories!

Start working out now, even if it’s just walking. What you do pre-pregnancy can usually happen during the pregnancies, there are ladies at my gym who were running on the treadmill and weight training all the way until they gave birth. That will make it even easier to get back into good shape.

Remember that your body will be different, hips may be wider for example, but the fat- that can go!

Eat a healthy diet now and keep it going, consider it a change of lifestyle as opposed to a diet, which sounds temporary. Find healthy foods you actually enjoy, but you don’t have to be super strict, just reasonable. We’re not trying to win any competitions here :)

Find a gym with childcare. That was a requirement for me..otherwise I don’t know what I would do. It helps motivate me because the kids want to go play there. If you don’t have a gym, find a mom friend to walk or exercise with, so you have accountability. It’s easy to fall off, especially being a stressed out mama!

Prior to being pregnant, I was an avid gym goer. I even worked out while pregnant, too. I remember trying to do that first sit up after healing from a c-section. I was so pissed I couldn't even lift myself up. I agree though, working out before and during pregnancy helped quite a bit post partum. I breast fed for a little while, but my son would always get angry when he couldn't get it all at one time. LOL

Learn about vitamin E oil and how to avoid stretch marks BEFORE getting pregnant. I was 15 and that's pretty damn young, I'm covered in them because I was young and stupid and nobody was trying to warn me about them. I remember after having the baby, the nurse laughing when I asked her how soon they'd go away. My daughter is 30 now and believe me, they're still there.

drink LOTS and LOTS of water. lotions and oils can only do so much and penetrate so many layers of skin. your body needs to be hydrated from the inside out to avoid stretch marks. some of it is hereditary and there's not much you can do there, but from my personal experience, I can confidently say that water is the answer.

Young babies do not have the muscles needed to support their neck. The babies neck is dangling. Babies' heads are heavy.

When people let someone take a picture of them, when it’s planned and they’re aware it’s happening, they make a conscious decision how to pose or act for their future audience. Holding a precious baby like a bag of insignificant potatoes was a conscious decision. She’s more interested in what the audience thinks of her body rather than the precious baby one trip away from being dropped on the floor.
