Yup, better that way too. Looking out for each other, showing kindness and charity by our actions. Way better than a confiscatory government taking our money to help the "poor".
This is never the role of government. God bless them for stepping up and doing the right thing. It gives me hope in our future. Many young people would consider mowing a lawn beneath them, much less taking care of someone else. Their reward in heaven will be great.
You're wrong on this one TQS - people thinking that taking care of their neighbors and the downtrodden in society is the Governments responsibility and not their own is exactly the main reason that the DS has gotten so much power - because it was abdicated to them by the people.
You know, there's a tactical opportunity here. If enough individuals make it a point to do the work the welffare workers suck at, it takes the lead out of the leftist's pencils, so to speak. People helping each other voluntarily kills the argument for government intervention.
I'm not sure how you could organize such things, but there's potential here is my point.
Then don't put words in his mouth. I could be wrong in his intended message but, TQS gets notified of responses to his posts so he could easily correct my assessment of his intention himself - and - I clearly stated "You're wrong on THIS ONE" inferring that I generally agree with what TQS posts. FWIW, I'm not the only one that read his post as him thinking that this should be the government's responsibility.
I don't totally agree with that. Before welfare, free medical (not free, paid for by taxpayers), there were charitable religious organizations, civic bodies and just people helping each other. When they government began doling out freebies there was less reason, and less incentive to do what we had always done in this country.
Govt shouldn't do CRAP. Only VALID responsibilities of govt are to protect our borders from invasion, and equal and unbiased application of laws based The Constitution.
This unity among people of different races, genders, and generations is the Democrat's worst nightmare. Well done, gentlemen. United we stand, divided we fall.

They are doing a 50 yard challenge, have a map where they had kids in month of June who have took up the challenge.
Edit to add .... Thank you to the person who started this company and all the adults & kids that work hard to make this all happen! Proud of those kiddos! ππππ

Both rich and poor neighborhoods in the south are much more racially mixed than in the north where the worst cities are almost entirely black and have been turned into violent hell holes by corrupt Dem politicians for ages. Northerners who think they are superior to the "racist" south are clueless. Southerners are more segregated by which denomination their church is than skin color. The love of God, family, honest work and good southern cooking brings people together, There is not much of a divide when mostly everyone shares the same basic values.
Hispanic texan here. Not everyone is racist. You are bound to find some, mostly old guard, but not many of them. Neighborhoods are very much mixed up and down the spectrum
In social circles you see some mixing, but not a diversity paradise, you still see some preferences. Preferences are still more notable within genders. Women tend to be more accepting of different races as long as they are not females. I believe since women are more territorial, it makes sense why is harder for them to accept another woman of a different race. If you are a male, its a lot easier to mix amd mingle, but there are some limits too.
But Texas isn't the south! Joking, but not completely because Texas is almost like it's own country. I was thinking more about Alabama ,Mississippi, Louisiana. And I didn't mean to sound like the south is some diversity paradise, that doesn't exist, but it is leagues better than Chicago, Detroit, and so many other Dem cities, even parts of DC. The irony being that so many northerners think southerners are "racists" when they are the ones who assume black people aren't smart enough to log onto the internet, get an ID or hire an accountant. The people saying these things are usually from cities and states where Dem policies have created a culture of poverty and violence and they have such low expectations of black people because that is what they see in those cities. I didn't even answer the guy's question if black people are different in the south, which is mostly yes, because a kid raised in the violence and chaos of Chicago is going to have a much different experience than growing up in Huntsville. Kids get caught up in gang life very young in these cities unless their parents are on them 24/7.
Rodney Smith is the guy who started this a couple of years ago. He would mow a lawn and take a selfie with the homeowner and post it to twitter. He did this for free for elderly, disabled, vets, single moms, etc. Eventually people were interested in what he was doing and the 50-yard challenge was born. I followed & liked him the whole summer and then I dumped Twitter because Jack, so I am happy to see he has continued his mission. He is the real deal as far as I can tell. BTW, the program is US-wide, not just AL.
Here's an ordinary guy with an ordinary lawn mower who asked the man in the mirror what he could do to help and the results have been extraordinary.
God bless these guys. Goodness and badness are plain to see. While one group tries to tear the country down in end-justifies-the-means badness, people like this show the good-heartedness of real Americans.
Thank you, men. You are great Americans. WWG1WGA
Always has been.

Too many spoiled, lazy kids.
Hell, I was lazy as fuck, and I'd still mow lawns for extra cash at least.

Blow me

I dont want anything from the government. I wish they'd leave it all to the citizens.
I'd be ok if they mow my grass.

Iβm near where they started. Top notch guys!
Thank you Patriots for being leaders and helping do God's work. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Just beautiful people.

Fair play lads! π
If I lived in Alabama I'd hire them to do my lawn and then give them a big tip after seeing this.
Good for them. Good guys.
This is beautiful. I pray this spreads across the world. We should be taking care of those who can't, children, the elderly and disabled.
Awww. Just awww.
Is there a difference between black people in the southern states vs northern states? I'm not an American just curious.

Agree 100%
Cool thanks for the explanation
A Yankees hat AND a Braves hat but I still don't have enough upvotes.
Great men thanks for posting.
Donated 10 pack of safety goggles through amazon (as much as I don't like amazon...)
May God bless and rewards these wonderful young men.
God bless you!
Bright, smiling faces. We have the best people β€οΈπΊπΈ

When I look at this, I see HOPE for America!
Probably casing houses to rob.
This is awesome. This is the way it should be. Neighbors taking care of each other.

Have no fear the propaganda media would NEVER report on this. Only "get your jab" and other assorted bullshit is what they "report".
God love these boys. I am a boy too.
