And the way you tied in real work experience vs the qualifications one would expect (and the lack of them!) is astute. I expect you could find some very interesting things if you further researched the trades, or possibly newspapers (these guys seem relatively "bit players" so they may not be talked about much. Not everyone becomes Jimmy Gunn or Danny Schneider).

I just looked Jim up again. His first studio was that egg logo Jumbo Pictures. His new studio that worked on younger pre-school and Sesame Street work is called Cartoon Pizza.
