When I was a kid, my dad told me that his dad told him that "television is the one-eyed devil." Now, my brother and my dad are more glued to televisions than they've ever been. They're both on Facebook. They both read newspapers.

For someone to accept the fact that they screwed themselves with a shot that was sold to them as a good thing, and also endangered the lives of their loved ones, is such a hard fact to swallow that a person would rather become hostile toward the suggestion they could be wrong rather than accept the truth.
It was also a while in the making.... just think about how popular "zombie" movies tv shows and video games became all of a sudden during the 10s or whatever. Straight up mass-programming for a coming plandemic.

My own mother, bless her heart, is and always has been uninformed when it comes to these topics. The extent of her "news" is what headlines she skims across on her web browser homepage each morning for 2 minutes.
We've had intense arguments in the past, sadly. She brought up "QAnon" once and said it was a "scary cult". I simply asked her to describe what she believed it was. She couldn't muster out a single sentence. She had no idea. It was pretty depressing. The programming IS real.
As for her view on COVID, she really started getting on me about the v4x midway through this year. I replied to her texts with screenshots of data showing the majority of deaths were patients who are obese/elderly (I am 30 y/o and an amateur bodybuilder to give you all perspective. Eat 95% clean, train 4-5 days a week for 1.5-2 hrs/day). These articles I sent her were from the likes of CNBC.com, yet she replied with angry, nasty texts. This data, from her own beloved news sources, did not fit her narrative and cognitive bias. I know she loves me, but she is clearly not able to think critically, nor independently.
Not to share a wall of text, but like OP said, in a way this is truly MK Ultra for the psychologically vulnerable. My mother isn't the type to give a shit what other people think, so she truly is "going along" with COOFID because she honestly is eating up what MSM is serving. I love her, but I don't even bother to debate anymore. I just smile and say I have never felt healthier in my life.

The people they were no longer exist, and will probably never come back unless there's a giant exorcism on everyone everywhere over the whole earth.
