Magnet shortage, magnetic business cards delayed 2 months. Parts shortage for a machine central to my business. Machine has been down a month.
Talking with other business owners, everyone is affected. Be ready for the supply chain to collapse.

Get ready for the desperate people too.
Most important part, otherwise you are just preparing for the other guy.
What will you do when desperate hungry families ask for food?
Yup keep a low profile. Take the less traveled roads to and from places.
Evaluate and act accordingly. This question can't be answered extemporaneously.
Ask for proof of vaccination…
LOL
Hopefully I'm in a location away from people when that happens, or at least with like-minded people. During the lockdowns I made sure I had extras for my elderly neighbors. The next round of government bullshit will be very different, can't say for certain until I'm in that scenario.
About a month ago we went to a huge agricultural supply store. It has anything you need from farming, hunting, cooking & even gun safes. That store had considerable less inventory. They didn’t have the lawnmower blades we needed. My husband got some and said he could do something to make them work. It’s an hour away from us. I’m sure people from several counties shop there. It’s coming down to basic common sense. We have got to stop depending on foreign resources if we can make it. We used to be the biggest exporter in the world!
I own an auto repair shop and one thing that we have seen is oil filters are hard to come by now.
Screws are in short supply. Have a huge job going and just been told screws needed for the roofs are weeks if not months away.
Another GC for a competing company has the same problem.
I wonder if this will force American steel back into the picture?
Bringing back American manufacturing would be a nice outcome to what is happening.
Seems like I remember a guy trying to do just that...
I believe he wanted to Make America Great Again
That’s obviously racist, right?
There is no excuse for why we can't produce our own steel in America.
We need these industries back on American soil.
The problem is getting infrastructure up and running again to manufacture things in any quick way let alone then getting workers.
I would hope that's the endgame.
Just went to a fairly large convention filled with almost every vendor you could think of. Everything is going to be tough to get, insulation, doors, windows, mowers, shirts, various chemicals. Its going to be a real fun time going forward.
I’m fine with it if it finally forces us to be a manufacturing powerhouse again, and not just the turd worlds warehouse
Wood burning stove to keep the fam warm
If you're in an area with plenty of sun, you can look into solar generators. Ecoflow makes large packs that can be charged with two solar panel sets and have high enough wattage to run a fridge or heater.
Good news is that food supply hasn't been disrupted yet. Bad news is that could be next.
Hunting season is about to start. Time to stock up the American way.
I don't know, I just got back from my neighborhood market and they're downsizing all of the meat packages, they're all tiny, like the hamburger was in little single serve packs, like they had a handful of family packs, but it was mostly packages of around a pound, and the pork I usually buy the whole loin, and then cut it into chops for the freezer, the whole wasn't available at all, you could buy a half for about 17 bucks, but just a month ago I was buying a whole for around twenty two and change. The onions I used to buy in bags were in sleeves of four to five, I noticed a lot of stuff like that, like they're making a lot of small packages to fill up the space. It's just a local small chain, so they probably don't have the buying power of Publix or Walmart, so I guess it's easier to notice.
Rural areas are business as normal, drive a little out of town to a local market and you may find a plesant sorprise.
We live near Amish country, no supply shortages there. An abundance, in fact.
Actually I live in near an Amish section of town where I'm at too, we do have some Amish shopping spots, but they're a bit pricey, one of our Amish restraunts here made it on Man vs Food, Yoder's. Pies are soo good. But I believe you're on to something, they're going to have rural connections when things get tight, so they'll at least have it, pricey or not.
Worried about medicines coming from China. Saw the loaded ships just floating out at sea waiting to dock. No workers?
Oh, no melamine-laden ching-chong pills?!?!
How will we ever survive!
Well.
How do you suggest we get our daily allowances of heavy metals and toxic waste if we're denied our precious CCP made meds?
Huh, smart guy?
Through our Monthly Jab.
Duh!
Doh!
See.
Our Chinese-in-charge benevolently thought of all of our needs. And oh yes, you better believe the Jab is chock full of MSG, too.
Is that why the jabbed get hungry for another one shortly after?

Thanks to the Democrats free money. It amazes me how people would rather stay home and Let Uncle Sam take care of them when not so long ago people did not want that. So many now are welcoming communism
My dad worked days and mom worked nights. A few neighbor ladies told my mom: You dont know American law. The man works and you stay home. If man cant work then you get Relief. Mom said I'm a citizen now, I know the law. If I work hard and live below my means I'll do good.
Within 3 years my parents paid cash for a cute suburban home and paid for 10 years of college for their kids. That very lady who made the comments ended buying my parents old house and shit a brick when they saw the new house. My parents came here from communist country. The other lady lived in US for generations.
Stupid old lady should be ashamed of herself. Look where you are now! You are awake! You got educated (poorly, but what do you expect from a country teetering on collapse?) and now you are awake. Educated to the world, then awakened to it. And you are not alone. We are the majority. Stay strong!
What a rude awakening when they find out that in communism, they won't own anything and if they don't work, they'll be rounded up and put in a work camp.
Go to a chiropractor, get your spine fixed(over a few months) and you will get off most of your meds
wish it was that simple!
Dock workers are mafia and union. You get one guess who both work for.
No room.
This is the part that scares me and i can't get hubby on board with the prep
Ask your hubby to check in with some business owners about breaks in the supply chain. Every business owner I've talked to has concerns.
Especially car parts
You can not wake some people up. You may have to take it on yourself. Good Luck to you fren and prayers are with you
I know someone who ordered an extremely common and necessary part for his truck (something with the brakes I believe) and they said the earliest they can ship it is June 2022. This was in March. So more than a year wait time!
That's not to mention that Microcenter is not selling new devices due to the chip shortage. And I need a new computer and so does my grandma. I also need a job but that resolved itself today really easily.
Congrats!🐸
I've had 3 orders in a row cancelled by the 3 different vendors - each said the items were in stock when I ordered then they all disappear somewhere after I place my order - "Sorry, our inventory system did not correctly reflect our actual amount on hand."
Deal with it every day. Have to pre order paint by weeks for jobs and usually don’t get to use the product that I want.
Waterways blocked with cargo containers
I am thinking this is how the supply chain failure FF will play out. Everything will be there, just beyond the docks, but we will be told there is nothing available. But guess what, when the Hammer drops, things will suddenly materialise out of think air - I am guessing.
I believe it was Amanda Grace that said we will have another shipping disaster just like the Panama Canal. I think she also said it would be in the US but I’m not sure if she mentioned anything else. I will have to find that, it’s been a week or two
A month and a half ago we ordered new golf cart batteries. The earliest we will get them is December. Not sure what the wait time looks like now.
Was visiting family in Cape Charles, Virginia about 5 months ago. They live on the water. Looking out the kitchen window,‘I saw a line of huge ships sitting in the water. The next few days the same ships were sitting there. Hadn’t moved. I finally asked them why they were just sitting I was told they had been there for weeks. Just waiting to get to dock at Norfolk! This entire “shortage” is all made up! The ships are all being stopped from unloading!!!!! These people are sick!
The crew on those ships are living like prisoners. They cannot go ashore because of covid. Many of them are going to quit when their contracts run out.
Cisco switches and routers...... 8.5 months lead time.....like jesus christ. This is not good.
I heard some of them are not new too. My company has to order everything 7 months in advance or longer for anything in Europe or all cisco equipment in general
Oh no, not magnetic business cards…

If you are in one of the megacities get out now.
The worst of the supply shortages and the worst of the violence is going to be in the big cites. These cities needed their hands held and mega-funded at the best of times. Now in an absolute crisis, they are going to account for most of the deaths to come.
Also if you have retirements, or other fund products. Cash out now, into as much hard currency as you can.
ALL of the funds, including pensions and retirements, are going to die and evaporate.
Ordered a sofa made in NC last May. Supposed to take 6 weeks to get. At last agonizing update, expected late December. Seven months!
