ComputerShare is the direct register company that GameStop/GME uses. You can buy directly through them or you can buy GME shares at a broker and transfer to ComputerShare.
Parking them at ComputerShare makes the shares go into your name, and no longer owned by the DTCC/Cede&Co (AKA globalist banker fucks).
If you're in the US, and don't already own any shares, you'll need to buy at least one share through Computershare to get an account created. It will take a few days, they're not retail-oriented.
For the rest of it, Fidelity seems to have the best customer service and the shortest time to transfer to CS. You can do both concurrently, so if the squeeze starts before CS completes the transaction, you're covered.
