It looks like things will work out for the better.
I am anticipating my employer acting likewise in the very near future, likely after the holidays. In their case however, I really don't think they could afford to lose me as an employee. We are running on a skeleton crew this year. A single threat of walking out might dissuade them of their intentions.
I figure I've got enough in my savings at the moment to live comfortably for a year. I'm prepared to walk if they push the vax. I'm planning to quit after my contract is over anyways.

Don't know if you are a believer or not, but I've always felt like God or a higher power has guided my every move in life. I've taken leaps of faith in my education and career that in hindsight should not have worked out nearly as well as they did. I figure if I am pushed out of my job, then it is meant to be because God wants me somewhere else. It is comforting knowing that someone out there has my back.
I dont go to church, mainly because I detest organized religion, but I have a personal belief in God.

I am with you. I go every Sunday but refuse to give them any money. I've had some dude tap me on the knee for not giving. He came back 2 more times tapping me. And complains about me not giving. I looked at him as we left, and simply said "Have a good day"

My friend gave in, got the jab and is not happy about it. She waited till the last day that her job gave employees or they would be fired. And they did lay off hundreds that day that didn't get the jab. I told her when they came out with the mandates that maybe this is the chance to start somewhere new for her, somewhere they appreciate the job she does & treats her with respect. She did search for a new job, and I mean she makes good money at her job but she didn't want the shot, she applied even at the post office delivering mail, but she never heard from them. She did get a call from one company for a similar job that she is doing now that told her she was being underpaid at her work, but they never offered her a job. With her car in the shop, and don't know what type of bills she has, but she felt she was backed into a corner with no way to support herself, she felt pressured and forced. She's upset and praying that something stops the mandates before they demand her get the second shot. Our state is weakly fighting it but it seems the only thing in the bill is for employers to consider religious or medical exemptions. Her company already refused religious exemptions, and she doesn't have any medical reasons, now after people got the first shot, how can they possibly even put in a religious exemption that they would except?
I’m kind of in the same situation. My company said get the jab by the 14th or be put on unpaid leave. I’m working on writing my religious exemption now. It’s so damn stressful- but I’m not getting the shot no matter what
Companies are not authorized to refuse religious exemptions. They are fancying a lawsuit if they fire anyone who is asking for reasonable accommodation.
Well this company supposedly did, they said it on the local news.
Oh, they accept that you have deeply held religious reasons, but then claim that to accommodate you will put undue hardship on the agency.
Happened to me, but this just so happens within a couple months of my reaching the age when I can collect my pension. So I’m retired as of end of next week.

Unfortunately, as of today, I had no other choice but to take it. I got the J&J. I’m a federal employee and cannot retire or find a new job that covers what I make and my particular skill set. My family relies on me. I trust in God that I will make it through and have a few years left before whatever mixture of nonsense health issues hits me. I told my wife if I pass away suddenly because of this jab to sue everyone she can. I respect anyone that can make a stand and will support anyone else if needed.
Nobody should judge another without walking in his shoes. Sorry you have to be in such a spot.

Weekly testing is discriminatory and a civil rights violation
You might be in a different situation but I just haven’t done it and so far nothing has happened. My employer told us all to get jabbed by October 1st or submit an exemption request, which I did, and that anyone who hasn’t been jabbed is supposed to register on some site put up by the testing company and get tested weekly. I really don’t care if they fire me and they put out some policy about how not testing would result in suspension for a week or something then termination if we still didn’t comply after the suspension. It’s been a month and I haven’t heard a thing even though I haven’t done shit.
So this is interesting. I would speculate that the reason you haven't heard anything is because so many people didn't comply that the company now realizes that they can't follow through on the enforcement. Hopefully, that will knock some sense into them and they drop the bullshit.
Then again, we do live in clown world; so you never know what they're willing to do.

I'm a contract pilot in the Bay Area...I just found out today that of the group of pilots I fly with, because I will not take the death jab, will now not fly with me. Believe it or not...every pilot I know still believes that Oswald shot Kennedy, Arabs with box cutters caused 9/11, the government has our best interests at heart and that indeed, the Covid VAXXINES are gifts from God! I should have become a Southwest Pilot I guess?

I thought I escaped the mandates at my company but just got an email from HR yesterday about vaccine requirements or be subjected to regular testing. I refuse to do both - I work on the software side on a relatively small team so we are not as disposable so I think I probably have time before all hell breaks loose. Hopefully by then, the next phase of the plan would have kicked in already and these mandates will have evaporated? One can hope right... lol.
