During a lot of the riots there were whispers about taking the riots to the exurbs like Waukesha and surrounding areas. During George Zimmerman verdict a bunch of "yoofs" were planning on driving out that way and causing problems. Locals even started making contingency plans, AR's out locked and loaded. It never came. But exacting "revenge" on that area has long been on the radar of shitbags like this.
And of course there are politics. Waukesha area is large enough to offset a lot of the Dem vote in Milwaukee at least enough to help swing elections. Property taxes are high (nice schools) so the dems have been dying to raid the piggy bank so to speak to fund their failing shithole schools. It still just strikes me as strange. It's close in proximity, but Waukesha is on the North side of Milwaukee. Kenosha is way south.
In order going South, you have Waukesha, Milwaukee, South Milwaukee, Oak Creek, Racine, then Kenosha.
So it's close but they are very separate communities. However I wouldn't be surprised if it was connected, just puzzles me.
