Terry Gilliam is the director. He also has adrenochrome in his movie fear and loathing in Las Vegas. Another one of his to watch is Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus. It’s all hiding in plain sight.
Yes. There is a good interview with Terry Gilliam where he even says it’s strange how Heaths death fit the plot of the film.

Very cool, I had to rewatch it to have it be fresh. The article got his last line wrong though, it's "Don't believe everything you read in the newspaper, especially The Mirror" which I thought might be even more poignant than "Don't shoot the messenger"

I tried to watch Dr. Parnassus the other night but I couldn't make it past 20 minutes. I started to feel physically sick.
I had the same feeling before. But gave it another go some years later. It was great. Watch Brazil meanwhile. And before that -- If you haven't already -- see 12 monkeys and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas!

I don't know how many dozens of times I've watched those scenes and still had to enjoy them again. If you haven't yet, the book is worth reading too👌Let me know what you think of 12 Monkeys! I am skeeved out by the obsession with Hollywood among people who should reject that perverse den of shit. For a group of people who claim to never watch Pervywood propaganda we quote and admire their shitty movies constantly.
Normies & sheep relate pretty easily to them.
Using a medium that they are enamored by, to show them a path forward, I simply see it as using my enemy's mistakes against them.
Every time I hear of a new Covid outbreak, I visualize that final scene of 12 Monkeys. The one in the airport. What the character does is all it takes to spread Covid. That's why masks and lockdowns don't work. It's just some guys opening containers or wiping rags on grocery items.
What was that Tom Clancy book where they used aerosol cans at car shows? That was disturbing.
Maybe it was Rainbow Six. That's the one where global elites team up with big pharma to create a killer virus to depopulate the earth. They were to release it at the Olympics where everyone would take it back to their home countries. Then the vaccines would be a slow release version of the same virus and would kill more.

Yes it was. The Montauk project was mostly about psychic abilities, travel through portals, and object manifestation. If you read into it there appears to be a situation where one of the psychics manifested a beast that started tearing everything up kind of like a demigorgon from Stranger Things.

I remember watching that movie when I was in high school but completely forgot what it was about and probably mixed it up with another movie. I know it's about a time traveller who goes back in time to stop a virus or determine it's origin.
For some reason, I thought there was a love plot where the woman character ends up conceiving his child. That child turned out to be him in the future. Though, probably mixing it up with another time travel movie.
