The Hershey Company has begun firing office workers who did not get vaccinated against COVID-19. On the way out the door, Hershey is asking employees to sign a nine-page confidentiality and release agreement that would remove their rights to sue the company or talk about their experience.
Although their signature comes with a “special separation payment,” many have not signed the agreement and won’t get the money. Employees say the payment was determined by an algorithm and for some, amounted to just over two months’ pay.
i can live without any hersheys produces from this day forward...
Me too. I love Hersheys and buy them all the time, love the dark chocolate. Until today...
What you'll notice after you completely switch to another brand, is that Hershey's uses an additive - butyric acid - that makes the chocolate taste faintly of vomit. That's what a lot of international people say about Hershey's because they're not used to the taste of that additive.
I have used their online feedback form to announce my intentions of permanent boycotting of their products. It was funny because they asked "What was it you couldn't find with us today" and I wrote FREEDOM.
So thats what that nasty aftertaste is. Thanks for clearing that up, I always thought their chocolate was nasty. Why do they add that shit in there?
To make you sick then force you to go to your doctor and big pharma.
Exactly & that’s the simplest explanation I’ve seen during this entire mess. That should be a meme!
Well that explains it. I alway preferred Lindt, even decades later.
I think they changed the recipe in the last decade. I remember something about the chocolate made in China. I can’t confirm that it’s been so long ago. A lot of the products we consume are made in China & it’s not on the label. Especially vitamins! The companies might be based here. But the synthetic ingredients come from China. They are put in pill form here in USA, hence made in USA. Never buy vitamins from Walmart, Sams, Target or drugstore with out researching the company. Even ordering on Amazon for legit companies is safer! I’m not promoting Amazon, just making a point.
Sam's Choice 70% bar is $2 and tastes like a $5 chocolate. Way healthier and tasty too.
I also really like Lindt's 70%, if you like dark chocolate it doesn't get smoother
Also, Sam's Choice chocolate bars do not contain soy lecithin.
Really? I have been looking for chocolate without soy and it is difficult. 99% of cookies also use soy lecithin. I have to buy the scottish butter cookies. Patriots really need to start creating independent food brands and never sell them to the cabal. that is where they start poisoning the foods.
Clarification: Soy IS listed in the "MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF..." statement. However, soy lecithin is NOT listed in the ingredients, which are: CHOCOLATE LIQUOR, SUGAR, COCOA BUTTER, NATURAL FLAVOR. Would not want anyone with allergies to think that it is soy free.
IIRC it is due to being made in the same place as products that do contain soy.
Thanks. I am less worried about the allergen than the ingredient. Soybean oil is cheap but so are a lot of other oils. They have to know it is bad for us. a peditrician warned us not to let our boys have soy and it is in everything.
Exactly! From my understanding (it can be wrong sometimes) soybean it’s bad. It’s GMO soybeans that are the problem. GMO corn. I thought I was very educated on this subject. I just learned about wheat. If it’s not organic it’s GMO. They spray round up on it to kill it before harvesting it. I watch Flav City on YouTube. He goes in the grocery store, videos, the best choices for each food.
That is correct. Practically all our food is poison and my body tells me that every time I eat bad food. That is why the only food I can eat is real veggies and fruits and meat that I can see with my own eyes.
some anons supposedly tracked down john titor's parents (after titor had left to bo back to the future) and asked them some questions about John. They asked if he seemed "different" in any way to the old John that they knew.
they said he seemed perfectly normal to them, but there was one difference they noticed: He would not eat anything he couldn't SEE being made from scratch. He had to see all the ingredients go into the food or he wouldn't touch it.
That started me on a "eat homemade food" kick, and years later I'm still eating mostly homecooked food from scratch. And now that I've been doing this a while, wheeeeew that boxed/canned food tastes WEIRD.
Could you give me some information john titor? My pain management doctor, who I’ve always trusted until she started asking me about the vax. Told me to cook my own food because I know what’s in it. We were discussing weight loss & me feeling bad. Inflammation is affected by many things you eat. I already knew this but it was nice to hear a doctor speak plainly and give helpful advice. I may be disappointed in her vaccine standpoint & she wears two mask. Before Covid she’s always sick with laryngitis twice a year. But she’s never pushed medicine or treatments on me. I looked her up on the doctor pharmaceutical money website & her payment was zero!
congrats and I bet you never get sick or almost never. We all should that. Eat from scratch and cooking at home. It is cheaper and tasty.
Food products are available with out soy. You probably won’t find them at your grocery stores, food clubs, Walmart & Target. They are more expensive also. I also say pay up front for healthy food or pay the doctor and hospital when the bad food makes you sick. (Pre Covid motto. I don’t trust them enough now if I do get sick.) If you like to cook you can find healthy recipes. Home Goods, Marshal’s & TJ Maxx has healthy snacks at cheaper prices. If you find something you like & don’t want to continue paying the price for the small amount find a recipe if you have the time. My daughter shops Thrive Market & is very satisfied. It is a fee of $5.00 a month but you make it up in savings. If there’s a problem with any product she gets a refund & they don’t require return. Last week they emailed: FedEx damaged your box. Would you like a refund or new shipment. She chose new shipment. She got home and had the damaged box delivered. Next day another box. I don’t know how they stay in business! Vitacost has some snacks. If you search Lindt chocolate online a lot of chocolate with healthy oils will come up. They are very expensive. I’ve never bought it because it’s so high priced. It’s part of that “ethically sourced” marketing. I don’t know about. I think it’s a marketing tool.
Thank you so much. Learn new things everyday here. Best.
Really? I'll have to check that out. Hard to find good chocolate without that crap in them.
I love Lindt, unfortunately they contain Soy also.
Still supporting Walmart corporation that way though, Sam's club is effectively no different than Walmart.
Our local Walmart is not enforcing the vaxx mandate. I know they're not the best company, but better than Amazon.
Not healthy food.
European chocolate is so much better lol
Which brands, specificly?
My favorite is Lindt, it does have soy. I don’t buy it much because it’s very expensive. Ghirardelli would be second choice. It’s cheaper at TJ Maxx, Home Goods, Marshals & Ross. You can find it at big lots but it’s only slightly discounted. I’m signed up for Big Lots rewards & get coupons by email. If you shop at least once a month you get a coupon 15% or 20% coupons. I buy water from them so I’m in there.
If you get to Sam's, try the Fannie May S'mores Snack Mix. They may have it elsewhere but couldn't find it at Walmart. It's killer good.😍
You can order online from Walmart or some other places, Amazon or Target, some others too.
Amazon, Walmart, and target are all garbage companies as well
I agree they are bad companies. I live in a very rural area & they are my only options other than the local grocery store that rarely has what I need. In the 90s with the help of the government Walmart put the local mom & pop stores out of business. I know people like me are only growing these empires. I don’t know what else to do. The things I need are not local. Sometimes my husband can’t even find what he needs at Lowes and we have to order on Amazon. So it’s not the consumers fault. We have an Ace hardware & there stock is limited. This change has to come from the top. The supply chain isn’t getting to our local stores. If I get on the target app the majority of the items I look at aren’t available locally. The town I shop at is divided by two counties. Between those counties that shop this town is 150,000 people. The city is run by a corrupt government. Gangs are very bad! Most people live outside the city limits. Most stores close. The mall is always empty. I can tell you when I’ve been to the mall. I know it’s empty because I see the empty parking lot. I have to drive to Raleigh if I want to shop other than my local TJ Maxx. So, crippling of America was started long before the Great Reset of 2000. I have a Dollar General a mile down the street from me & the only thing I’ll by is medicine in an emergency. Everything smells like laundry detergent. Even the ice cream. I don’t understand it. I’ve heard other people say it that live in different areas and shop at DG when out of town. It’s a shame because they are the cheapest.
Hey, I get it. Not a criticism of you. Just don't like them.
I do not buy from them. My mom loves them, but I practically convinced her those are not good places to buy food.
I was going to say switch to dove dark chocolate because it's amazing...but they're owned by Mars, which is the company that owns M&M...now I need a new chocolate company. 😭
Amen!
Hersheys chocolate is terrible to begin with
Poison really.
Hershey's squirts.
🤣🙌
Well now, it seems Hershey has shit themselves....I will never buy their products again, ever....
Dont forget that Hershey's owns... pretty much most candy in the US
https://www.hersheyland.com/brands
Some aren't necessarily owned, but licensed, I think (like KitKat).
But still, that's a crazy long list of candies...
they're why we dont have foreign chocolate , and they have no competition
so THATS why bark thins taste like shit!
Speaking of bark thins. There’s many recipes online for bark thins. I haven’t made it yet but it looks easy. Buy the way chocolate chips have soy also (previous comments) you can find “allergy free. $$$ If anyone wants to make their own chocolate & recipe calls for cocoa butter. (I was confused about this for so long) You need the edible cocoa butter that’s hard consistency like lard or butter. Make sure you get a good brand. Lots of bad coconut products on the market.
Hershey is not far from me, so it's the main chocolate in the area. Since chocolate is a food group for me, this will be hard, but not impossible. From here on, I swear off all things Hershey. Now let me find the Cadbury shelf.
Lindt outlet just east of Carlisle, off Allen Rd
Duh. I pass it on 81 frequently. Completely forgot. Thanks.
West Pennsboro Township represent!
Oh Lord, it’s a blessing I don’t live near that. Death by chocolate would be on my tombstone 🪦
It seems that Cadbury is a brand of Hershey’s
🤦🏻♀️ It’s that darn grid! Every company owns another one!
I heard the chocolate factory closed and they moved operations to Mexico.
That’s not great but better than China
This is not good news. Nestle is twice as bad. They want the entire world to pay for every drop of water. https://youtu.be/mTnJTyeAUA8
Yeah, I knew that a long time ago. Me & my hubby have been married 34 years & maybe had 5 big arguments. We had a big round in sams about 6 years ago over nestle water. He’s the most easy going person until he reaches a point. Silent type! I just about died a few weeks ago we were getting water before the snow. (In the south we might be in for days & the stores empty out.) He said they only had Nestle water & “We” don’t want that. Finally some of my speeches about toxins has sunken in🙌
Stop eating processed matrix food if you want to experience quantum.
Agree, but it’s hard not to cheat.
I've noticed it's easier if you make things in big batches. For example, I needed tonkatsu sauce, so instead of buying a bottle, I looked up a recipe and made a big batch. Now I have like a half a gallon, and if I store it well, it will last me a half a year. I do the same with all sorts of stuff, potstickers, broths for soup, teriyaki sauce, bulgogi marinade, chocolate syrup, ice cream, desserts, marinara, salad dressings, etc. Sometimes in the summer I make pickles in a big crock...
and slowly this starts to replace the convenience and pre-made foods in your kitchen, and before you know it you really don't have much bullshit left in your house to eat.
still haven't figured out how to make mayonnaise come out right tho.
Good advice. Will definitely start doing this. Need to buy a chest freezer first. Thanks
i manage to get by for now without a deep freezer, but I will say that one time my refrigerator almost overheated because i tried to pack it too full! woopsie <3
My husband & hunt. We had to get a small deep freezer because my daughter’s was full of deer meat & part of a cow they purchased. Then my husband killed a deer. Ugh! I don’t have room for it, but it’s nice to clear up some room in my fridge freezer. Growing up in the 70s seems like everyone had those huge ones. (Big enough for a body, watch to much crime TV.) But the people grew gardens and froze food in addition to canning food. I think we could learn from those older generations.
Heavenly message 🖒
Experience quantum? What is this?
Easiest way to I found to share this information is recommending you try 10 minutes of Wim Hof guided breathing; he does pranayama Breath of Fire, effective.
Bye hershey
I have not eaten hersheys chocolate for 50 years. Found much better.
I'd rather just take over the company. One way or another. Cause, you know ... chocolate. Dark chocolate. Sigh.
This boycott will be very good for my waistline!!
I was already boycotting due to the ongoing child trafficking and labor practices they are being currently sued for. They literally abduct little children sometimes as young as 5 and force them to work on their cocoa farms. Its child trafficking and forced child labor. Burn in hell Hershey's. I hope every penny of that company falls into the hands of the trafficked and exploited. Breaks my heart to hear
I didn’t know that. Thanks for sharing. I was blind to this dark evil until recently. I was just thinking the other day I bet all the clothes that are made over seas are using trafficked children. I’m remembering that video of the kids making the disposable mask. That dirty floor. I can’t believe people put them on their face.
What a horror shit show world we live in right? Its like waking up in a straight up horror flick. I don’t doubt that child labor and slavery is used all over the place
Well, what do you expect from a feminist candy company? (Her-She). <dodges tomatos >
I like Lindt chocolate far better anyway. I don't want to know if they're woke.
I believe the chocolate that Lindt uses in their candy is Guittard chocolate. Candy makers (even the ones that use chocolate) are not necessarily Chocolatiers. Just like the pastry shop buys their flour, so the candy makers buy their chocolate.
Well I like Guittardchocolate too I love their chocolate chips.
So this video of the Lindt factory is not real? https://youtu.be/LMsNm7S6OWA
That is a very pretty video.
Anyone making a list of these companies? Who am I missing? This list would be lot bigger is it listed woke companies, why are we not second guessing giving them money?
from the '16 election there was general mills, dicks sporting goods, and oikos
from the blm riots there were many sneaker companies and fast food companies. I believe aisics and new balance are still safe. Don't know about fast food though.
black rifle coffee, target, starbucks also... and I think Ford. I know the Ford foundation is jacked up, but I think with the vaxxes that Ford Motor also went globo.
I am willing to join this club, no more hersheys for me.
Yet another to strike off my list. I’m getting healthy through principle, lol!
There is much better chocolate out there than their crap
imo it's the worst non-paraffin chocolate on the market.
haven't touched Hershey's since I found out how they are responsible for keeping foreign chocolate manufactures out of the US.
went out of my way to try Galaxy bars, I didnt know chocolate coul d taste so good.
Hershey's deserves to go out of business
Ghirardelli FTW.
I think in a side-by-side, guittard is better chocolate but ghiradelli is also pretty decent.
See's candy uses Guittard (always has) as their chocolate.
Heaven hill did the same thing
If you are a chocolate lover & ever try European chocolate you’ll never go back to Hershey’s or any of the other junk made her in USA.
Their chocolate kinda tastes like sugar mixed with stomach acid
Thanks God I can’t eat chocolate specially when I know they put poison ingredients. Every time I eat chocolate it makes me sick. Gives me headaches and stomach problems. Liver gets damage.
there are a few foods that if I eat them, the next day I have nasty back pain. Chocolate is one of them. But I still eat it a few times a month!
I usually eat yogurt and fruits because yogurt contains probiotics which is a good source of calcium and help you with your health.
yogurt is another one you can make yourself... many electronic pressure cookers have a yogurt setting. I have to say though, I've never tried it myself so I have no idea if it's cost-effective or not. Although I bet it probably tastes better!
Yeap and thank you for the tip.
This reminds me of sienfeld episode where Elaine had to find out how people feel about abortion lol
Employees should have told management to "shove it up their hershey highway!"
I really like this group. God bless all of you and thank you for your help.
List of brands —had no idea some of these foods. https://www.thehersheycompany.com/en_us/home/brands.html https://www.hersheyland.com/brands
Definitely boycotting! I did read a while ago that Milton Hersey and his “boys school” was corrupt and kids were abused there. We shall see —since nothing will be hidden as we go forward.
Hershey's took a squirt when they started making chocolate in mexico 10 or 15yr ago. I remember just one guy protested on the highway for days, alone. We thought he was nuts, now I see.
I remember a pic of a guy standing outside of Kellogg. He was alone. That guy was so brave!
EVERYONE should say NO... Sue then and get alot more than 2 months pay.
God I wish people would just get footage of this as it happened or wear a hidden go pro
Give up expensive yet cheaply made chocolate..no problem.
