A lot of church-connected private schools will offer scholarships to kids whose parents can't afford the fees, especially if you're a member of that church. And smart parents, grandparents, all of us, need to be pushing hard for voucher programs in your state. I want to see my local government spending used by parents to make sure their kids have a good education rather than spending it on local public schools. BTW, you want a real eye opener, take a gander at your city or county's school budget for the year. Look in detail, not generalities, at where the money is going.
Hopefully someone takes this opportunity to challenge the NEA and the Department of Education in the courts. There is no "Department of Education" in the constitution, and they should not be allowed to mandate education policies to the individual states. Get that case before the Supreme Court.

Fast forward to this year... students were talking about how much they miss trump (meaning their parents support Trump / hate Biden).

My daughter opted for e-learning in 20/21; and returned this past school to in-school classes despite the mask requirement for all but a few months (wore an all cotton version and put it down whenever possible while in the school). She made straight A+'s across the board her first highschool year which included AP and Honors classes with extra-curriculars. My point is--she thrived w/her return to the in-school environment back with friends and interaction (and she's an introvert!).
BUT(!)...if a time comes for a mandatory shot to attend in the next 3 years--homeschool it is. Zero debate on that; and she is aware of our stance and in agreement despite society telling her generation they have the decision making "power" to change genders, use improper grammar, and make major decisions affecting their health sans their parents input/experience/advice.
