DuckButter, I had seen the same thing a week ago. They flew patterns North of Knoxville. A friend of mine who worked at Tri-Cities airport told me that they come up here and train in the area. Their home base is Jacksonville.
This bird has been up almost continuously for the past two weeks. Saw it as far east as the gulf south of Texas. Flight tracker locks up when I select it.
I think this is one of the best covers for data gathering on human trafficking and border crossing by criminal cartels that I've ever seen. Love it. Go white hats!
I saw a big 2 earlier, right by the U. Also, it appears to be drawing an actual rough map of the United States. Look for Florida, the southern part of Texas, and Maine.

Ahh. I do know they come in fron JAX. This afternoon they were pulling tight circles over Knoxville.
In high school we'd go to the end of the approach runway and lay down as the jets came in right over us! Mid 70s.

just looked again and there are hundreds of planes.
Zoom in to that area, SW Arizona, and look for the red drone. Click on that and it will isolate the plane and show the path.
One of those was over us in northern Nevada last night, At roughly that altitude.
